Third POV:

Within the dorm building, it was quiet as everyone was sound asleep, well, that was until someone had woken up by themselves. The brunet known as Matsukaze Tenma had woken up due to his own circumstances. He opens his eyes and finds himself looking up at the ceiling above.

Tenma groans a bit before turning to his side, thinking to himself, "Again..? What time is it?"

He looks at his alarm clock and saw it was 5:00 am.

"Huh, guess I woke up early.. Well I don't feel like going back to sleep, might as well just get ready for today then," He said in his thoughts as he disables the alarm so it doesn't ring later on.

He gets up from his bed and stretches as he heads over to the bathroom and takes a shower before putting on his assassin clothes. He then grabs his swords which were in their holders and puts it on his back, making sure the straps aren't loose. Once he is prepared, he left his room and looked around, realizing he was the only one awake, for now that is.

Tenma shrugs it off a bit and said in his mind, "Well, this was to be expected, usually we all wake up at six or seven to make breakfast and get ready for the morning.. If I cooked breakfast this early, it will get cold overtime. Guess I'll just train, after a quick snack."

He just grabs a packed sandwich from the pantry and water bottle from the fridge, "I'm not that hungry anyways, after that, I'll help out in cooking, I won't take too long right?"

After eating his quick snack, he makes his way to the training building and went to the parkour area. He then presses the button and the area changed in what one of the backstreets towns look like. He climbed up the ladder to the roof and got in position. He did some warm-ups before preparing to start his usual training routine.

"Alright, let's do this," Tenma said to himself as his hand hovers over the button.

He then presses the button and the timer started, making him start his run.

Meanwhile:

While Tenma was in the training building, he had completely lost track of time, an hour or so had passed. During that time, two people woke up and met up in the hallway of the dorms. Those two being Shindou and Kirino.

"Oh, good morning Kirino," Shindou said as he smiled a bit.

"Good morning to you too Shindou, you're up early," Kirino replies while smiling back.

"I could say the same for you," Shindou responds, "Do you plan on heading over to the main building?"

"Yup, about to check who else is awake, wanna come?" Kirino asked.

"Sure, I was thinking the same thing anyways," Shindou replies.

The two then head over to the main building and first checked the kitchen, there they see Sangoku, Blaze, Kudou, and Otonashi, most likely setting up to cook. Kudou noticed the two arrive immediately .

"Good morning you two," Kudou greeted them.

"Ohayogozaimasu!" Sangoku greeted them as well as he smiled.

"Good morning Shindou-kun, Kirino-kun," Otonashi said while smiling as well.

"Ohayo!" Blaze said as he grinned.

"Ohayo minna!" Shindou and Kirino responded.

"Are you about to make breakfast?" Kirino asked.

"Hai! We're were just setting up first," Sangoku replied.

"Can we help out?" Shindou asked.

"Sure, the more the merrier," Otonashi replied as she smiled.

"Arigato Otonashi-sensei," Shindou responds.

"Everything is all set up now, best to get started everyone," Kudou said.

"Hai!" Shindou and the other members responded and helped make breakfast.

Soon some of the others arrived too and have assisted in preparing breakfast. After a while, they all have finished.

"This looks so good!" Hamano said as he smiled, admiring the delicious dishes that were made.

"Good work everyone!" Otonashi said as she smiled.

"Indeed, it's time to get the others so that they can get breakfast now," Kudou added and the others agreed.

Some then proceeded to head to the dorms to get the others while the rest help set up the tables. 

Meanwhile with Shindou:

Shindou and the others split up to call the rest, they were either asleep and just woke up, or were just getting ready. As the two best friends went through the halls to check if the others are up, they saw Aoi and Shinsuke infront of Tenma's dorm, most likely to wake him up.

"Hey Aoi, Shinsuke," Shindou greeted as he smiled at them.

"Hey you two," Kirino said as well while smiling too.

"Oh, hey Shindou-senpai, Kirino-senpai" Aoi replied while smiling back.

"Ohayo Shindou-senpai, Kirino-senpai!" Shinsuke responded as he smiled back.

"Is something up, you both seemed troubled?" Shindou asked.

"Well, we went to get Tenma so he can have breakfast, but no response came, we already knocked and called out," Shinsuke replied.

"We were about to go and check somewhere else because he might already be awake," Aoi added.

"Hmm, any idea where he might be then?" Kirino asked as we all started to think a bit.

"Are you guys looking for Tenma?" a familiar voice was heard catching their attention. When the four of them looked, they saw Tsurugi and Cole.

"Oh, hey Tsurugi, Cole!" Aoi said as she smiled.

"Sup guys," Cole said as he grinned at the group.

"Hey there, do you have an idea on where Tenma could be?" Shinsuke asked.

"Well, sorry, got no ideas," Cole replied as Tsurugi started having a few thoughts.

"I think I know where he is," Tsurugi replied as Shindou thought to himself a bit and quickly got an idea.

"Seems like Shindou and Tsurugi are both onto something," Kirino said in his mind, thinking that was the case.

"I think I also have the same idea," Shindou added.

With that, they headed over to the training building and soon arrived. There, they saw Tenma fighting off some holograms. He looked very focused and didn't seem to notice the group yet.

"Huh, looks like you both were right," Kirino said as he smiled a bit.

"Should we call out?" Shinsuke asked.

But before they could do or say anything as they watched a bit, Tenma had just finished the round and then saw them.

"Well, he noticed us already," Shindou said.

Tenma's POV:

I started parkouring on the rooftops, dodging obstacles, and jumping from rooftop to rooftop. After a lot of parkouring, I finally reached the end, I pressed the button and the timer stopped.

"Your time is 2 minutes and 36 seconds," the machine said.

I smirked at my time and decided to train some more. As I continued to train, I completely lost track of time. After I took down some holograms, I decided to take a break. But when I turned I saw Shindou-senpai, Shinsuke, Kirino-senpai, Aoi, Tsurugi, and Cole, they were wearing their casual clothes. I kinda blushed in embarrassment, how long have they been watching me train. Shinsuke then went to me.

"Wait how much time has passed? How long have they been there?!" I said in my thoughts, "Shoot, don't tell me I forgot to help prepare breakfast!"

I quickly recovered and put my thoughts aside for now.

"That was so cool!" Shinsuke said, " The way you beat those robots and sneaking up on them is incredible!"

"Really, you think so?" I asked, slightly embarrased.

"Yeah, your fighting style is improving a lot," Shindou-senpai said as he walked up to me with a smile.

"Yeah bud, although, it might not be enough to beat me," Cole said as he leaned back on the bench.

"Sure, says the one who lost to Athena ten times in a row," Kirino-senpai said.

"Hey!" Cole replied, causing me and some of my friends to chuckle at his reaction.

"By the way, the others just woke up and breakfast is already served. How about we all head to the dining room and eat?" Aoi said as she warmly smiles.

"Sure thing, and sorry I didn't help prepare breakfast," I replied as I rubbed the back on my head.

"It's alright, you were focusing on training and just lost track of time, it happens," Cole replied as he patted my back while giving a reassuring smile, as Tsurugi nods a bit and the others agreed with him.

I then smiled back and replied, "Arigato minna, I'll make sure to help out next time though."

Cole then puts his hand off my back and then I said, "Well, I'll just go get changed first, see you guys later."

"Alright, see you later Tenma!" Aoi said as she waved.

"Don't be late okay?" Shindou-senpai added while smiling a bit.

"I won't, thanks!" I replied as I smiled back.

With that, we parted ways and I went to my room while the others headed over to the dining room. I arrived at my room and changed from my assassin uniform into my casual clothing. I wore a white t-shirt with blue sleeves and a blue outline at the collar, dullish blue pants, a blue-ish jacket, and black and white shoes. I went to the dining room and got my breakfast. I sat at the table where Shindou-senpai, Kirino-senpai, Aoi, Midori-senpai, Shinsuke, and Tsurugi were. I sat down and chatted with them.

"So Tenma, how did the mission go last night?" Midori-senpai asked.

"Well, the Shadow Clan member wasn't difficult to fight so I handled them. But just as expected, a mercenary group came and tried to get me, just like any other," I replied.

"Well, atleast you didn't get caught," Aoi said with a small smile, but I can see the bit of worry in her expression.

"They just keep trying to track us down.. We were framed for something we never have done," Shindou-senpai said in a bit of a serious and concerned tone.

"You mean, the massacre that happened in one of the towns of a peaceful district." Midori-senpai asked.

"Yeah, because of the fake photos, and two fake recordings the blame was placed onto us just because a member of our clan was in it, even though it wasn't any of us nor any of the members," Kirino-senpai said.

"If only there was a way to prove our clan's innocence. That we weren't the ones who caused the massacre and we've been trying to protect the town, not the other way around," Shinsuke said, looking a bit down.

"Well, it can't be helped much. It was in the past and we can't provide enough evidence to prove our clan isn't guilty of the incident," Tsurugi replied as he closed his eyes, still keeping up his serious posture, "All we can do at the moment is be more careful and continue what we've doing all this time."

Everyone had fallen silent as the atmosphere changed, and not in a good way. I looked around and noticed Cole and Athena wasn't here. I was about to break the silence to try and change the topic by asking where they are.

"Hey, where's-" I was about to say something but was cut off by someone.

"Hey guys," the person said. We looked and it was Cole.

"Oh, Cole, I was wondering where you were," I said.

"I was just looking for Athena, " Cole said and I slightly saw him blush.

"Ooooo~, someone has a crush," Midori said teasingly.

"I do not Midori-senpai," Cole said as he looks away, crossing his arms.

I slightly giggled and then said, "have you checked her room?"

"Oh, I haven't yet, " Cole said as he rubbed his head while looking back now, "I'll go check on her."

"Well, Athena did say she has to do something in her room a bit," Aoi said.

"Okay, thanks for telling, I'll be right back," Cole said before running off.

"Alright, later Cole," Shinsuke said.

Third POV:

Cole left the dining room and went to the dorms. He went to Athena's room and stood before the door.

"Athena, are you in here?" Cole said as he opened the door.

"Athena, breakfast is ready, everyone is-" Cole said and stopped in surprise.

Athena looked back at Cole. She had a bath towel covering her. After a few moments of silence, the two blushed and then screamed.

~Meanwhile at the dining room~

The scream was loud enough for everyone to hear and they were confused and concerned.

"What just happened?" Nishiki asked.

"That sounded like Cole and Athena," Aoi said.

"I'll go check what's going on," Tenma said and quickly got up from his seat. He then started running to the dorms being worried a bit on what could have happened.

~Back at Cole and Athena~

"S-sorry, I didn't know," Cole said.

"You idiot!" Athena shouted and punched Cole out of her room. Cole's back hit the wall and then Athena threw three of her kunai, they were close to Cole's head. Athena then slammed the door shut.

Tenma arrived and saw Cole. He then saw Cole fall to the ground. Tenma went to check on him.

"Cole what happened?" Tenma asked.

"Don't ask bro," Cole replied.

Tenma helps Cole get up and then Tenma removed the kunai from the wall and puts them in his pocket to give it back later. Suddenly the door to Athena's room slams open and the two boys saw how angry Athena was.

"Thats the second time in two weeks!" Athena shouted and charged at Cole and punched him in the face, causing Tenma to back up. Cole was sent to the side and nearly fell to the ground, but he kept his balance

Cole rubbed his face and then said, "Hey what was that for, you already punched me?!"

"That's what you get for being a pervert!" Athena said.

"I didn't know you were in there!" Cole said.

"You could have just knocked first before opening the door!" Athena said.

"Why was your door not locked then?!" Cole asked.

"I thought it was locked but apparently it wasn't for some reason!" Athena responded.

"Maybe check your door next time!" Cole replied.

The two continued to argue while Tenma sweatdropped and decided to stop them.

"Please calm down guys, no need to argue now," Tenma interrupted.

Cole and Athena were silent and glared at each other for a bit until they finally said, "fine!"

The two of them turned their heads away from each other and Tenma just sweatdropped again.

"You two should head to the dining room, you guys haven't eaten breakfast yet right?" Tenma said.

"What's for breakfast?" Athena asked as she looked at Tenma.

"It's pancakes," Tenma replied and saw Athena's eyes lit up.

"I'll eat all the pancakes!" Athena said and dashed off into the dining room.

"Oh no you won't!" Cole said and went after Athena.

Tenma sighed and smiled at the two. He then ran to the dining room and tried to catch up with Cole and Athena. After everyone finished breakfast, they took a 10-minute break and then got changed into their assassin uniforms. They headed to the training room and started their training, Tenma also didn't forget to give back the kunai to Athena. Suddenly, the speakers announced something.

"Everyone meet up at the meeting room, there is a new mission that must be completed," Kudou said to the microphone.

Everyone quickly went to the meeting room and took their seats.

Everyone's assassin appearances:

"Alright everyone, for today's mission, it involves going searching the town of a member of the Shadow Clan. They've been going on a killing spree, their targets are mostly teenagers and kids," Kudou-Shujin said.

"That's horrible," Akane said.

"In fact, it is," Otonashi said.

"What do they look like?" Ichino asked.

"I was about to show you, " Otonashi then pressed a button on the iPad and the imaged popped up on the screen.

Appearance:

"This is what he looked like, his real name is Kiyoshi Hibiki, code name: Echo," Otonashi-sensei said, "Reports say he mostly lurks in the peaceful and neutral districts, luring or taking his victims into isolated places of the towns to kidnap and then kill them. Currently we have  tracked down the town he is in at the moment, but not the exact location."

Kudou nods before adding, "Therefore it is recommended we act now before we lose him. Now, I'm going to assign the ones who will take on this mission." 

Kudou looks over to specific members as he spoke, "Aoi, Rina, Akane, Shindou, Nishiki, and Tenma. The mission will now commence, I wish you all the best of luck."

"Hai!" The six assassins said in unison.

"The rest of you continue your training, you're all now dismissed, " Kudou said.

Everyone then left the meeting room, the ones that we're not gonna do the mission continued training as instructed. Meanwhile the six chosen assassins changed into their casual wear and got ready to leave.

Appearances:

They sneakily went into the city by parkouring on the rooftops without anyone seeing them while looking at the town below. They then went in an alleyway and got out pretending they went that way. It was safe for them to walk around without hiding their identity since they always wear hoods when they wear their assassin uniforms. They then started to look for the guy around the town.
