"Hehehe, since you guys are in here, it will be much harder for you," Ki said.

"Be quiet," Kurama said and threw one of his saws at him.

But Ki jumped up and dodged the saw and went into the vents. And Kurama retrieved his weapon.

"What the," Leo said.

Ki then went out of the vents and was behind Hayami. Ki tried to slash him but Hayami notices and barely dodges. Hayami tries to slash Ki with his sword, but Ki backs off, making him dodge the attack. Kurama throws his weapon, trying to hit Ki, but he jumped up and goes into a vent.

"Seriously?!" Kurama said as he retrieved his saw again.

"Everyone, stay on high alert, he could pop out of nowhere," Tsurugi said.

They looked around trying to find him, but then Ki came out and tried to slash Leo. But Leo uses his metal claws to block Ki's attack. Hayami was close by so he tried to slash Ki, so Ki pushed Leo back and blocks Hayami's sword. Hamano charged at Ki and tried to slash him, but Ki grabbed Hayami by the arm and put him in front of himself so that Hayami would get slash instead. Although, Hamano manages to stop himself, Ki then kicks Hayami towards Hamano causing them to get sent back. Kurama then got ready to throw one of his saws at Ki, but Ki noticed it and grabbed a nearby chair. He then quickly tosses it at the same time the saw was thrown, making the saw and chair hit each other and fall on the ground. While at it, Ki took the opportunity to quickly charge at Kurama. When he was infront of Kurama, he slashed, Kurama barely blocked and back up a bit, making him get scratched at the arm. Ki then did a kick to Kurama, making Kurama get sent back. Leo charges and tries to slash Ki, but Ki keeps on dodging. Then Ki saw an opportunity, so he grabs Leo's arm and tries to stab Leo in the head with his metal claws. But Leo moved his head away, causing the blade to graze his face. Leo then tried to stab Ki, but Ki dodges and throws Leo over his shoulder, sending Leo flying to a pillar. Tsurugi and Hayami then charges at Ki and tries to slash him, but Ki jumps up and into a vent again, causing Tsurugi and Hayami's swords to clash against each other. Ki then comes out of the vent behind Tsurugi to try and slash him, but Kurama saw this and threw his two saws, one above Ki and the other towards him. Ki saw this and blocks the saw, Tsurugi took the opportunity to kick Ki towards Kurama. Kurama retrieved his saws and tries to slash Ki, but Ki put his metal claws in front of him and blocks the attack. Kurama pushes onto his weapon, causing Ki to back up and Hamano tries to sideway slash him, but Ki jumped up and backflip until he is behind Hamano.

But when Ki was about to slash Hamano's back, Hamano said, "Activate DD1 (Drone Defense 1) Protocol."

The top part of the drone on his back then glowed and a forcefield appeared, causing Ki to hit it. Then in the corner of Ki's eye, he saw Leo attempting to stab him. So Ki sidestepped and dodges Leo's attack. Ki then slashed Leo on the arm with his weapon before kicking him in the stomach making him cough and get sent back. A black sword beam was seen in the corner of Ki's eye and since there is a vent above him, he quickly jumped inside and avoided the sword beam.

"This guy really likes the vents," Hamano said.

"I guess he's the one to, 'vent' about his problems the most," Leo said.

"This isn't the time for puns and jokes Leo," Kurama said as he spun his saws in his hands.

Leo did a frisk face with a smile (-u-) and then serious.

Ki came out of the vent behind Hayami and Kurama noticed.

"Hayami, behind you!" Kurama called out.

Hayami turned around and saw Ki about to slash. Hayami's eyes widened with shock and Ki slashed.

*Pause the song*

Meanwhile with Kariya and the woman. Kariya parkoured on the rooftops and into an abandoned building in an alleyway with the exit near. Kariya still has his hood on to prevent the woman and others to see his identity.

"You should be safe here ma'am," Kariya said as he places the woman down, "I have to go now, just be careful alright."

Just as Kariya was about to leave, he was grabbed by the arm.

"Wait!" The woman spoke out, leaving Kariya confused as he looked at her a bit.

"Is it true on what your ally said, about you and the others not being the ones responsible for the incidents?" she asked.

Kariya looked away and replied, "Yeah, our clan is just misunderstood and mistaken by others. Please take our word for it ma'am."

The women lets go of his arm and said, "I see..."

"I'll be going now, see you ma'am, be safe," Kariya said and then left, as he parkoured up to the rooftops.

"I wonder how the others are holding up, hopefully I'm not late," Kariya thought to himself as he parkoured back to the others fighting Ki.

Kariya arrived and was shocked to see Hayami have a large scratch wound on his arm, not just him, everyone else also got some wounds. Hamano was aiding Hayami's wound while Leo, Tsurugi and Kurama fended of Ki. Ki was about to slash Tsurugi but Kariya releases his strings and caught Ki's arm, and more strings came and tied Ki. Kariya then motioned the strings to slam Ki to a wall. Ki then got slammed and the strings retracted to Kariya.

"Seems like I'm a tad bit late," Kariya said and he went down the window frame onto the room floor.

"Yeah, No kidding Sherlock," Kurama replied, "Is the woman safe though?"

"Yup, she is." Kariya responded and looked at Ki who had gotten up.

"Well, mind giving us a hand then?" Leo said as he brought out his metal claws.

"Of course, don't have to tell me twice," Kariya went to a fighting stance.

Ki then grinned, "Let's make this more interesting shall we?"

Ki brought out the syringe and injected himself, instead on screaming in pain, it sounded like a growl cause he held back. His hair had a shade of black and his eyes turned red. He then faced them with a menacing and scary face, like he was ready to slice them up and eat them. Or in other words, a predator ready to consume it's prey.

*Continue the song*

Ki then went to a fighting stance that a little resembles a predator ready to ambush his prey. Ki then charged at them at a certain speed and tried to slash them, but they dodged him. Ki then quickly switched his direction to try and attack Kurama and Leo, but Kariya quickly reacted and used his strings to grab Ki by the torso and pull him back. He saved Kurama and Leo, but got himself in a bit of trouble. Ki turned and got ready to slash Kariya as he was headed towards him cause he was pulled to that direction from the strings. Kariya jumped sideways to dodge Ki, and Ki lands on his feet as Kariya retracts his strings. Tsurugi tries to slash Ki, but he quickly reacts and blocks Tsurugi's sword with his metal claws. Ki pushed onto his blades, making Tsurugi pull his sword back and Ki quickly kicked Tsurugi hard in the gut. Tsurugi gets sent back and his back bangs against the wall, but he was still on his feet. Kurama throws a saw at him, but Ki jumped into a vent and dodge the saw. The saw went back and Kurama catches his weapon. Everyone was on high alert and Hamano came up with something.

"Guys, follow me," Hamano said catching the other's attention a bit.

Hamano then brings out a smoke bomb and throws it. It explodes and smoke covers the room. The Raimon assassins head over to a room and hid there.

"Hamano, do you have any ideas?" Leo asked.

"Yeah, I may have found a way to know where Ki could pop out from the vents. And since Kariya is here, we have a better advantage," Hamano whispered to them.

"What do you mean?" Kurama asked.

"Well, Kariya can use his strings to cover the entrance of the vents so Ki can't use it. We shouldn't trap Ki in the vents, because we don't fully know the ventilation system of this building," Hayami replied and everyone got what he meant.

"I see," Tsurugi said.

"Alright, the plan is to occupy Ki and make sure he doesn't go into the vents. So that Kariya can use his hissatsu to block them off" Leo said, "Everyone got the plan?"

"Hai," the other replied.

Then, out of nowhere, Ki came out from the ceiling and slashed Kurama in the back. Luckily it wasn't deep. Kariya fired his strings and Ki backs up and dodges. He got in cause they didn't notice the vent hidden behind a pillar.

"No matter where you run, I will find you. A predator never lets go of their prey that easily," Ki said as he grinned.

"Shut your mouth you psycho!" Leo shouted as he goes into a fighting stance.

Ki chuckled and said, "Now then, why don't you hold still!"

He dashed and tried to stab him, but Leo dodges, making Ki miss his attack. The assassins ran out of the room and into the large room they were just in. Kariya then activated his Assassination Technique: Hunter's Net quickly before Ki came out. Strings came out of his fingertips, the strings glowed a pinkish and teal color. Kariya moved his hand in a motion and the strings stuck to the entrances of the vents, forming a crisscross pattern. Ki then came out and saw the vents were covered.

"I see what you kids are trying to do," Ki said in his mind and then grins.

He activates his Assassination Technique: Hunt down. The metal claws then glowed a red and maroon-ish aura. The same colored aura appeared around him. He then suddenly vanished from sight, this made the Raimon assassins stay on high alert. Ki then appeared behind Kariya, about to slash him, but luckily Kariya saw Ki in the corner of his eye. So Kariya manages to dodge by turning and backing up very quickly, dodging the attack, but it wasn't over. Ki quickly charged and kicked Kariya in the gut, sending him back. Luckily Tsurugi caught him before Kariya got any further.

"Thanks," Kariya said with a small smile.

"No problem," Tsurugi replied.

Ki then charged at Hayami and tried to slash, but luckily Hayami blocked the attack with his sword. Ki then quickly used his other hand to try and stab Hayami, but Kariya quickly used his strings and got Ki's arm and torso. Kariya pulled on the strings, pulling Ki away from Hayami and tossing him towards a wall. The strings retracted back to Kariya's gloves and Ki landed his feet on the wall. He jumped off and towards Kurama. He tried to stab him with his claws, but luckily Kurama got out of the way, making Ki dash past him and land on his feet. Kurama tried to throw one of his saws at Ki's head, but Ki slashed backwards, hitting the saw away. He quickly got up on his feet and tried to stab Kurama with his claws, but Kurama used his other saw to block the attack. He quickly activated the device on his gloves to return the saw that was thrown. Ki tried to use his other claw to get Kurama, but Kurama backed up, dodging the stab. When he backed up, Kurama got his weapon back. Hamano then dashed behind Ki and tried the stab him from behind, but Ki noticed and dodges. Hamano wasn't finished and does a backslash, but Ki blocked the attack and then tried to slash Hamano with his other hand. But Hamano used his sword to block the attack again. Hamano then used his free hand to draw out a gun he has. He quickly aimed and fired at Ki. The bullet hit his leg and Ki flinches a bit. Ki backed up and then started firing maroon colored claw beams at the Raimon assassins, making them do their best to dodge the attacks. Ki fired different types of beams, some were curved and some were straight but curved at the front before disappearing. When it was too much to dodge, Hamano activated a barrier with a device. He even activated soundproof so Ki can't hear what they are saying.

"This guy is crazy!" Kariya shouted.

"Indeed," Tsurugi replied still keeping his seriousness.

Ki continues to fire at the barrier until it gets taken down. He then fires a strong one at the barrier, but it manages to hold up. 

"We need to find a way to get to him," Kurama said.

"Yeah, otherwise Ki either breaks through or this thing runs out of juice due to the constant hits cause the barrier regenerates the damage. Plus this is just a prototype," Hamano said while holding the device to keep the barrier up.

"Yeah, not to mention my hissatsu is gonna run out of time, meaning the vents will be available for him again," Kariya added and sees the strings covering the the vents are fading a bit.

"We need to rush in now. Since he is constantly firing at us, he also has a limit before his Hunt Down is off, " Leo said before sharing his plan, "Hayami and I will rush in to slash his arms and legs. Kurama and Tsurugi, you do your best to distract Ki so that we both can do our part. Kariya, assist Tsurugi and Kurama, then use your strings to tie him up once me and Hayami land our attack. After that, Tsurugi and Kurama will follow up with their hissatsus to finish him."

He then looks to Hamano, slightly worried but keeps calm. "Hamano, how is the barrier holding up?"

"It's drained but I can still use this device to protect us separately while I assist in distracting to lessen damage and attacks we'll have to take on," Hamano replied as he gives a bit of a reassuring smile.

"Alright, on my signal, put down the barrier and scatter, we'll then execute the plan, got it?" Leo said as he prepares his claws.

"Got it!" Hamano nodded.

"Hai!" Hayami said.

"Leave it to us," Kurama said as Tsurugi nods.

"I got it! no need to tell me twice," Kariya said and he grins.

"Okay. 3. 2. 1." Leo then saw an opening and shouted. "Now!"

On que, Hamano quickly deactivates the barrier and they scattered in different directions as Ki continues to pursuit.

Hamano quickly activated the device again and separate barriers appeared around the Raimon members. Tsurugi, Kurama, Kariya, and Hamano did their best to distract Ki by trying to attack or get close while they are trying to dodge the claw beams. A few minutes went by and the battery of the barrier device runs out, making the barriers disappear, so they had to dodge instead. Some of them got hit a bit, but they pulled through. When Leo noticed Ki's Hunt Down was slowly going out, he activated his Assassination Technique: Lion's Fury and charged at Ki while dodging the claw beams. Hayami then follows his lead, by using his Assasination Technique: Zeroyon, he dashes very quickly towards Ki while dodging the beams. Ki then tried to fire at them, but his Hunt Down was out.

"Damn it!" Ki said in his mind.

Leo and Hayami then took the advantage and slash Ki in the arms and legs. Kariya then saw it and used his strings at Ki. Kariya's string then tied Ki and he struggled to get out.

"Viperion (Kurama's codename), Takeshi (Tsurugi's Codename), now!" Kariya shouted.

"Hai!" Tsurugi and Kurama replied.

Tsurugi activated his Assassination Technique 1: Death Sword and Kurama activates his Assassinasion Technique 1: Razor Fangs. Kurama's saws glowed a light blue color and Tsurugi's sword glowed a black color. Kurama put his arms forming an x and then threw his saws, the blue aura surrounding the saws formed a snake like figure, making two blue snakes charge at Ki. Tsurugi puts his hand in front of himself and a black orb appears, Tsurugi then slashes his sword downward and hit the orb, launching a large black sword beam. Ki couldn't escape, so he just grinned and accepted defeat.

"Heh, guess this is the end for me," he mumbled and he continued his small grin.

The two hissatsus hit him and a bunch of smoke covered the view. Kurama activated the retrieval technology and his saws came back as he caught it. Kariya also retrieved his strings with a press of a button on his gloves. When the smoke cleared, Ki was no longer there and in his place was black ash.

"Seems like we won this fight," Leo said.

"Hai," Hamano replied.

"Good thing this is over," Hayami said as he put back his sword.

"Let's get back now so we can report to Kudou-shujin and get healed up," Tsurugi said as he puts his sword away.

"Hai!" everyone replied and then they all went back to base.

~Meanwhile in the office, minutes before the assigned assassins left~

Tenma stood in front of the door and then knocked.

"Come in," The person on the other side said.

Tenma opened the door and saw Kudou sitting on his desk and Otonashi standing next to him.

Tenma's POV:

"Ohayo Kudou-shujin, Otonashi-sensei," I said with a smile.

"Hey Tenma-Kun," Otonashi-sensei said with a smile.

"Ah Matsukaze, you did came," Kudou-shujin said.

"Hai!" I said with a smile, "So, what do you wanna talk about?"

"That is what I was about to say," Kudou-shujin said.

I went in front of his desk and stood there.

"So, in the past missions, you were pretty injured, especially in the battle against Echo and Sky. The doctor said that your wounds oddly healed faster than the others. Not to mention your arm had a pretty deep stab wound and when Sorano told us the time big rocks fell on you, it makes me wonder how your recovery is much faster than others and having that much resistance. Do you mind explaining it Matsukaze?" Kudou-shujin said.

I was shocked by what Kudou-shujin and I had to come up with something.

"Tenma-Kun?" Otonashi-sensei said, "Is something up?"

"Oh, sorry for the delay, when I was young, the doctors said I was born with it, it's pretty much in my genes. Although they don't know why cause my parents didn't have it, so I don't know much," I said trying not to sound suspicious.

"Alright, next question, you were originally from Okinawa, right? How did you move into Inazuma town?" Kudou-shujin said, still having a straight face.

"It's kinda complicated Kudou-Shujin, gomen'nasai," I said as a looked down a bit.

"It's alright," Kudou-shujin said, "That's all the questions I have for now, thanks for your cooperation Matsukaze, you may leave."

"Hai," I replied and then left the office.

When I was outside, I felt bad for lying.

"I'm sorry, I can't tell any of you the truth yet," I said in my mind as I closed my eyes, "I am just not ready."

I sighed and went to the dorms to change into my assassin's uniform so I could go train.

Third POV:

~Meanwhile with Kudou-shujin and Otonashi-sensei~

"What's wrong Kudou-san?" Otonashi asked.

"I know there is something he isn't telling us, but I will wait for him to be ready. I know he needs time to think about it, it isn't easy telling someone a deep hidden secret," Kudou said as he looked out the window and saw Tenma go towards the dorms.

"Still observant as ever," Otonashi said in her mind as she smiled a bit.

"I wonder what Tenma-kun is hiding?" Otonashi said.

"Whatever it is. We shouldn't push him into telling us too much, it's up to him if he wants to open up about it. It's his choice after all," Kudou said as he closes his eyes.

~Meanwhile, somewhere else, after Ki was defeated~

An assassin walked into the room and bowed before someone.

"Sir, Ki has been killed by Raimon. What is our next move?" the guard asked.

"Not now, we just have to be patient. Preparations are still being done," the mastermind said, "Now go train with the others."

"Yes sir," the assassin said and then left.

The mastermind then placed his arm on the arm on the chair and leans on it, he then closes his eyes.

"Raimon, a place where those assassins get along and work together to protect their home town. That bond they develop in that place, it never changes," the mastermind said, "They had become seemingly very close to each other. That type of bond and trust is mostly why they manage to stop our plans."

"But.. What if I break that trust they have for each other," The mastermind then sat up straight, "Maybe, just maybe."

The mastermind smirked a bit and said, "Be prepared, Raimon" in the last part, he opened his eyes and it flashed red.

So I will go ahead and work on Season 2, don't worry, I will put it here in the same book like the other future Seasons for this book. UuU

But I also have to make the Gacha version for those who like visuals. Which I will try to focus on more and maybe keep the Season 2 chapters on draft. QuQ
