Third POV:

In an abandoned house, the sound of chewing flesh could be hardly heard. In one of the rooms, a man was seen eating one of his victims. After he finished, he stood up and looked at the body.

He then licked the blood off his lips and said, "Well that was delicious."

"I wonder who my next victim is gonna be," he said with a menacing grin.

Footsteps were then heard approaching the area, but upon arriving, no one was there except the corpse and remains left behind. The perpetrator had left without a trace.

*The next day*

Meanwhile with Raimon.

They were in the meeting room, the team was sitting in their seats and Kudou and Otonashi were in the front.

"Alright everyone, you guys have another mission today. There have been people going missing, and when they have been found, it wasn't a good thing. Just a warning, it is unsettling," Otonashi said and some images were shown after the team prepared themselves.

All of the members were disgusted, shocked, and some wanted to puke. There were some who were a bit more calmer than the others but was just as disturbed. Oddly enough, Tenma was sorta unfazed, sure he is also uncomfortable but seemingly not that shocked. In the pictures were the victims, they have parts of them missing like it was either ripped or bitten of while some had their organs out.

"What on earth?!" Midori exclaimed.

"I gotta puke," Hayami said as he turned away to recover as Hamano did his best to comfort him.

"The found victims as you can see have some parts of them ripped out, it is said that parts of it were eaten or mauled, meaning cannibalism," Kudou said after switching to the next slide so they wouldn't have to keep seeing the image of the brutality and giving some time for the members to recover.

"Who in their right mind would eat another person?" Nishiki said, still disturbed by what they all saw.

"We're dealing with Shadow Clan members, there is bound to be some who are more psychotic," Kurama responded, having recovered slightly as Otonashi prepares the next slide.

"This is what your target looks like," Otonashi said and pressed a button.

"His name is Chisuke Tokito, code name: Ki. He is known as the Cannibal Assassin, age around twenty. His victims seem to not have a specific age cause they are rather children or adults. Now, I will call on the people who are going to take on his mission," Kudou said, "By the way, Matsukaze, just so you know, you won't be going on this mission since you already went on four missions in a row for the past weeks, so you could take a break. Also, I need to talk to you about something in my office after breakfast."

"Hai! understood," Tenma replied.

"Tsurugi, Kariya, Leo, Hamano, Kurama, and Hayami," Kudou said and the six assassins stood up.

"The mission will commence at 12:00 sharp, so take that time to get ready. Also, wear your assassins clothes cause you guys will scout from the rooftops," Kudou added.

"Hai!" The six assassins replied.

"And with that, you're all dismissed," Kudou said.

Everyone left and changed into their casual wear since it's 11:00. They went to the cafeteria since they didn't eat yet and the meeting was called early. In the cafeteria, Tenma, Aoi, Tsurugi, Shinsuke, Kariya, Kageyama, Athena, and Cole sat at the same table.

"So, you guys are going against a cannibal?" Kageyama asked feeling concerned as he still remembered the images.

"Indeed," Tsurugi replied.

"Hey, Tenma, can I ask you something?" Aoi asked.

"Sure what is it?" Tenma asked and he drank some water from his glass, cause he finished his food already.

"Well, when the images showed up, you were like, how do you say it. Unfazed by the images, I saw your expression," Aoi asked.

Tenma was shocked by the question, he held back the water in his mouth so he wouldn't spit it out. Causing him to slightly choke on the water.

"Tenma!" Shinsuke said trying not to be loud so he wouldn't the others.

Tenma coughed a little and said, "I am fine, sorry."

"Well, this is actually not the first time I saw his victims," Tenma said, which made them shocked.

"What do you mean this isn't the first time?" Tsurugi asked.

"Remember when I wasn't part of Raimon before as a lone assassin?" Tenma asked.

"Right," Kariya said.

"Well, he's been on my list before and I fought him once. Also from my experience, he's pretty tough. Tougher than my last targets," Tenma said, mumbling on the last part.

"Wait, so you know some information about him?" Kageyama asked.

"Hai," Tenma replied, "I guess I can tell you guys since you are going after him."

"Alright, so tell us," Kariya said.

"First off is his weapon of choice, he uses the same weapon as Leo. He is very sneaky and fast, it won't be easy to catch him," Tenma said, "He rarely goes in plain sight unlike Echo and Sky, he usually kills his victims in abandoned buildings or alleyways. There are two possible ways of how he kills. One, he kidnaps his victims and kills them in one of the two locations, and two, he kills anyone he finds in these two locations. He can be unpredictable sometimes and if you were in these areas, he could pop out of nowhere so it's best to be on high alert when fighting him."

"Thanks for the information Tenma, it will help a lot," Tsurugi said.

"No problem," Tenma said with a smile.

Tenma then grabbed his plate and stood up.

"I got to go now, I have a talk to Kudou-shujin," Tenma said with a smile.

"Okay Tenma, see you in the dorms," Aoi said and Tenma nodded in reply. He then left.

"So, with that information, let's get ready Tsurugi," Kariya said.

"Hai," Tsurugi replied.

"Good luck on the mission Tsurugi, Kariya," Aoi said with a smile, and the others also wished them luck.

"Thanks," Tsurugi said with a small smile.

The two first years got ready for the mission by training with the others that are going. When it reaches 11:50, all the chosen assassins changed to their uniforms and prepared. When it was finally time, they left and parkoured their way to town. They were looking at the town from the rooftops.

"So guys, any ideas on how we can find him," Leo asked.

"Well, me and Tsurugi have something to share with you guys," Kariya said.

"Alright, what is it?" Kurama asked.

"Tenma gave us some info on the enemy, he said Ki rarely goes in plain sight and he usually is in abandoned buildings or alleyways, like where his victims are found," Tsurugi said.

"So using the drone might not work?" Leo said.

"No, it can help in checking alleyways, and if we do see him, we can track him down," Hamano said.

"Plus, it has optical camouflage so Ki won't be able to see it," Hayami added.

"Well, it's worth a shot," Kurama

Hamano and Hayami prepared the drone and Hamano grabs the controller. He flew the drone and Hamano presses the button. It suddenly goes invisible, Hamano looks at the view from the camera to fly it. He flies the drone to the alleyway and looks around.

"Find anything?" Kariya asked.

"Not yet," Hamano replied, still keeping his eyes on the screen.

Then a few seconds later, they saw something. They saw someone carrying a person, they saw the kidnapper and it was their target.

"There he is," Hayami said.

"Use the drone to follow him and let's go," Leo said.

They parkoured as Hamano made sure they followed their target. It leads them to an abandoned building.

"In there," Kariya said.

Hamano retrieved his drone and the assassins went into the building. They searched for the victims in the rooms and tried not to get caught. Finally, they opened one of the rooms and saw the victim. She was awake and was tied.

"P-please don't hurt me," she pleaded.

"Don't worry ma'am, we'll get you out of here," Tsurugi said and went to her.

He untied her and helped her up. Then they heard someone open the door, they turned and saw Ki.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here, the assassins of Raimon. What a surprise," Ki said with an evil grin.

"W-wait, you guys are from Raimon?" the woman asked as she looked at the Raimon assassins.

"Uhm, yeah, please don't misunderstand, we aren't bad guys," Hamano said as he brought out his weapon and got ready to fight.

"Silver string (Kariya's code name), take her somewhere safe and come back alright," Leo said as he brought out his claw weapon.

"Hai!" Kariya said and then went to the women.

"Hold on ma'am, please excuse me," Kariya then picks her up in his arms with the support of his strings to make lifting easier.

Kariya uses the ribbons on his back from his uniform and jumps out the window with the women. He left the others and brought the women to safety.

"Since you took away my lunch, you guys will be the ones to get eaten today," Ki said as he brought out his claw weapons.

"We'll see about that," Kurama said as he brought out his weapon.

They all went into a fighting stance and got ready to fight.
