Tenma's POV:

I stood there shocked, before me was the man and his gang, the ones who killed my parents.

"Long time no see," the man said and grinned menacingly, "Matsukaze Tenma."

I clenched my hand into a fist and didn't reply, I just stood there silent and tried not to lose composure.

"How rude not to reply," the other guy said, "It's been a long time and this is how you greet us? Do you not miss the good times?"

Memories of the past came into my mind, but I refused to show weakness to them.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, doing my best to keep a straight face.

"Well, after what you did to the place months ago, we wanted to exact revenge," the man who was the leader of the gang said and then grinned, "On the culprit who caused it all."

I narrowed my eyes and remained silent.

"But right now we can't do it here, so how about you come with us," he added, "Unless you prefer to get innocent bystanders involved."

Third POV:

Meanwhile with the others, they finished their bubble tea and are just relaxing a bit now.

"Man, that was refreshing!" Midori said as she stretched a little while seated.

"Couldn't agree more, it's still as tasty as I remember," Nishiki agreed, having his usual grin.

"Yeah! Thanks again Shindou-senpai," Shinsuke said as he smiled at Shindou.

"Anytime," Shindou smiled back.

Tsurugi looks around a bit, him and Aoi still noticing the prolonged absence of one of their friends.

"Tenma hasn't come back yet," Tsurugi said as he looks at the direction Tenma went, still with a straight face.

"Now that you mention it, he sure is taking his time, wonder what he's doing," Midori replied as she straightened up from her seat.

"Maybe he's just taking in the new additions of the town, but," Kirino responded, "I'm getting a bit of a gut feeling about something."

"I'll go check and call him, be right back," Aoi said and before anyone could say anything, she ran in the direction of the fountain.

When she finally arrived she said, "Tenma, we're going back now," but she was shocked that Tenma wasn't there, she looked around and he wasn't around.

"Tenma, where are you?" Aoi said.

A panic rose in her and she ran back to the others to tell them.

"Aoi, where is Tenma?" Midori asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"He is not at the fountain," Aoi replied.

The others were shocked and worried.

"We got to find him," Shinsuke said and the others nodded in response.

Back to Tenma and the gang, they were in an alleyway so that no one would see them. They surrounded Tenma, but he stayed calm.

"Now this is the spot, no one to interrupt us," the leader said, "I'm surprised your remaining calm."

"Hahaha, I can't wait to chop him to bits," one of the guys said as he brought out his axe.

The others soon brought out their weapons and Tenma was unarmed. The leader then grinned.

"You ready to die Matsukaze," he said.

"I don't think so, it won't go your way this time," Tenma said in a serious tone and then went into a fighting stance.

The guys laughed and one of them said, "what do you mean, there are seven of us and one of you, and plus you're unarmed, so you will die here."

Tenma then smirked and said, "We'll see about that."

Alex charged at Tenma and tried to slash him from behind, but Tenma heard his footsteps and dodges the attack. He then quickly punches Alex in the face and he got sent back, hitting the ground. This shocked the gang for a bit but soon snapped out of their thoughts, Kage then charged at Tenma and swung his bat. But Tenma ducked a bit while turning, before kicking Kage in the gut, causing him to fly back and hit Burou, making them crash to the ground. Paul attacked next and tried to slash Tenma with his knife, but the brunet dodged it easily. Paul kept slashing while Tenma kept dodging until he had enough. Tenma grabbed Paul's arm with the knife when he tried to slash him and then he punched Paul in the stomach, he then grabbed Paul and tossed him to a wall, causing Paul to hit his head and lose consciousness. Rio quickly charged at Tenma from behind and tried to stab him with the blades from his gloves, but that was a mistake. Tenma expected that and swiftly turned before side kicking Rio, causing him to get sent off to the side and into the trashcans. Tenma turns to look at Aijiro and Akahiko and saw they were both ticked off. Aijiro swiftly charged at Tenma and slashed, Tenma backed up to dodge the attack, but Aijiro side kicked Tenma causing him to fall. Tenma quickly recovered and when Aijiro was about to slash Tenma. Tenma saw a metal pipe on the ground, grabbed it, and used it to block. As Aijiro pushed onto the blade, Tenma used his right foot to kicked Aijiro's stomach, and push him back. Aijiro landed on Alex who was about to get up and both of them were now on the ground on top of each other, knocked out. Tenma got up and faced the ones still standing, Rio got out of the trashcan, Burou and Kage finally got back up, and Akahiko clenched his other hand into a fist from anger. Rio and Kage both charged at Tenma at the same time and tried to hit him. Tenma ducked and Rio missed, but it was not over. Kage accidentally hit Rio on the head with the bat, causing Rio to fall to the ground unconscious. Tenma then did a slide kick and hit Kage's feet, causing him to fall towards Tenma. He then uppercut Kage and he fell back and lost consciousness. When Tenma got up, a bullet missed him, he looked and saw Burou aiming a silent gun at Tenma. Burou kept shooting and Tenma kept dodging. When Burou ran out of bullets, Tenma internally smirked and charged at Burou while grabbing a box on his way. Tenma then tossed the box at Burou, obscuring his view. Burou quickly smacked the box away, but Tenma did a flying kick and hit him in the chest. Burou crashed to the ground and hit his head, causing him to lose consciousness. Tenma straightened back up and turned to face the leader. Akahiko charged at Tenma and swung his sword really quickly, causing Tenma to back up. Tenma saw Aijiro's sword and quickly grabbed it. Tenma went into a fighting stance and got prepared. The two charged at each other and swung their swords. Their swords clashed with one another and Akahiko pushed onto his sword, making Tenma to back up. Akahiko slashed sideways, but Tenma jumped high, and front flipped until he landed behind Akahiko. Akahiko tried to slash Tenma who was behind him, but when he did, Tenma swung his sword really hard and knocked Akahiko's sword out of his hand. In a blink of an eye, Tenma appeared behind Akahiko and kicked him to the side hard. Akahiko's back hit against the wall causing Akahiko to close his eyes.

*Stop the Music*

When Akahiko opened his eyes, he saw Tenma pointing the sword at him. The blade was a few inches away from his face as Tenma looked down at Akahiko with a straight and serious look.

"Game over Akahiko," Tenma said.

Akahiko then chuckled as if he didn't care and replied, "Go ahead.. Finish me off, like you did with the others. Don't tell me you'll leave things unfinished here."

Tenma kept his composure but his words did affect him slightly, but he doesn't give in.

"I'm not that sort of person. Besides you're too injured to try and attack me," Tenma said, "I'll spare you and your gang for now, so I suggest not acting out of line. And but if you ever mess with anyone I care about, you will regret it."

Tenma moved the sword away and faced the direction to where to exit the alleyway. Tenma dropped the sword and started walking away, he wanted nothing more than to go back with his friends and forget this ever happened.. Unfortunately, that isn't the case with everyone...

"Heh, as if I'll let this chance slip by," Akahiko said in his thoughts and then quickly pulled out a gun from his pocket, pointing it at Tenma.

"Sayonara Matsukaze," Akahiko said.

When Tenma heard this, he snapped out of his thoughts before turning around.

Akahiko suddenly goes limp and loses consciousness. The bullet grazed Tenma's face and was kinda shocked and confused.

"What just happened?" Tenma said in his mind.

He then saw a tranquilizer dart on Akahiko's arm. He turns around and saw Nishiki. He puts the tranquilizer gun down and looks at Tenma.

"Are you alright?" Nishiki asked worriedly.

"Hai, Arigato," Tenma replied as he smiled.

The others soon arrived and saw the scene.

"Is everything alright, what happened here?!" Shindou asked.

"It's a long story," Tenma replied as he rubbed the back of his head. The others looked over to the unconscious people, seeing the weapons and piecing some stuff together.

"So what are we gonna do about them?" Tsurugi asked, some moments of silence ensues but it was quickly broken.

"I know what you guys are thinking, but don't kill them," Tenma said.

"Why?" Midori asked.

"They are not Shadow Clan members," Tenma replied.

This surprised and confused some of them.

"They're not?" Shinsuke asked and Tenma nodded in response.

"Well, we can't leave them here, we have to make them forget this happened," Midori said.

"Oh, my tranquilizer not only makes the person unconscious but also made them forget the events that happened depending on what type. I used the 10 minutes," Nishiki said.

"Well, I did bring some of the injections to make them forget, just in case something like this happened," Shindou said as he unzips a hidden pocket in his bag, revealing the few syringes.

"Good to know," Tsurugi said.

"Prepared as ever," Kirino said as he smiled.

"Thanks Shindou-senpai," Tenma replied as he smiled in relief.

After they injected the other six guys, they left the place and sneakily went back to base. They just hope to not see those guys again, but mostly Tenma is the one who didn't want to see those guys ever again.
