Chapter Twenty Seven: Finding the base.
"Where are they? Oki should have caught them and brought them back by now." Izayoi said as she began to pace around, worry shown on her face as she thought about different outcomes that could have happened to her classmates.
"We should get going to find the others." Yuma said as he too wore a concerned expression.
"No." Izayoi said as she stopped pacing and looked at Yuma with a serious expression. "We have to wait for them, or they could be in trouble." Izayoi said as she continued to pace around in worry.
"Iza-Chan. If you continue to pace, you'll end up making the wind for us." Hunter said in a joking tone, however the smile he was wearing disappeared as he felt a dark, tense aura erupt from Izayoi. "This isn't time to joke around Hunter." Izayoi said with a sharp look in her eye and a dealy tone in her voice. Hunter jumped and put his hands in front of him for surrender, sweat running down his face. "I know, I know. Don't worry." Hunter said.
"Why shouldn't we worry? Our friends and family have been taken hostages!" Ayato exclaimed as he punched a nearby tree. Akito placed a hand on his twin brother's shoulder. "Calm down man." He spoke in a calm tone.
"You shouldn't worry because between me and Mae-Chan, we'll find them!" Hunter grinned as he pointed his thumb towards himself. "Huh?" They all questioned as they looked at Hunter with a blank expression. "Maemi's technology can find them, but if something was to go wrong, I can find them! I do have hunter's blood in me after all." Hunter said with a proud grin as he folded his arms.
"Seriously? So you could track people down?" Megu asked in shock as she looked at Hunter in amazement. "That's right." Hunter replied with a nod, his grin getting bigger. "Incredible." Hinano gasped in admiration, making Hunter's grin widened.
"His ego is going to get bigger." Katsu said with a blank expression resting on his face. "I'm still waiting for the day for his head to explode." Yuudai said as he shook his head with a sigh leaving his lips. Hinata looked at the gate and placed her hand above her eyebrow for shade.
"Is that Oki?" She asked with a raise eyebrow, catching everyone's attention. Everyone looked at the gate and saw Oki limping towards them while holding her arm. Her clothes were a mess and she had a couple of scratches on her legs and face. "Oki! Are you ok?!" Saika gasped as the girls all ran to Oki. "I'm fine. I just missed them, that's all." Oki said.
"You're limping! And you've got cuts on your legs!" Yuzuru gasped in horror as she looked at her friend, worry shown in her voice. "I tried jumping at them, but they dodged me and I fell to the ground. It's nothing." Oki said as she smiled reassuringly. "We need to clean your cuts!" Saika said. "I told you I'm fine." Oki smiled. "Come on!" Saika ordered as she grabbed Oki's arm and began to drag her. "Sai-Chan! I'm fine!" Oki said as she began to wave her other arm around.
"So she couldn't get to them." Erina said as she placed a hand on her chin, biting her lip with a worried expression resting on her face. Tristan sighed as he looked at his co-worker. "We better go and find them." Tristan said.
"What about the van?" Itona asked as he looked at Maemi. Maemi looked at her phone as Itona spoke. "It's out of the city. Next to an abandoned factory." Maemi explained in her usual monotoned voice.
"That's where they're holding everyone." Izayoi said.
"You kids should stay here and we'll go." Karasuma said.
"Excuse me?" Izayoi asked as she and the rest of the class walked towards the teachers. "You all have trained us to fight. You have all taught us how to be assassins. You have all taught us how to track people. And yet you all expect us to stay here while you go save our friends and our families?" Izayoi asked.
"Not going to happen." Toka said.
"Yeah! How can you expect us to stay here?" Taiga asked.
"And if you go, leaving us unprotected, they might strike." Karma said.
"You don't want all of us to be taken prisoner right?" Kaede asked.
"Good enthusiasm children!" Korosensei said.
"Are you being serious?! These are deadly assassins we could be going against!" Erina shouted.
"And your nieces have already gone to find them, have they not?" Korosensei asked. Erina gritted her teeth. "Which means we better hurry instead of arguing, or they could be in danger!" Korosensei stated.
"Fine." Erina said. "Get to the minibus now." Erina ordered. Everyone ran out of the gates and to a minibus. The doors opened and they all got on. Erina was the last to get on. She closed the doors and got in the drivers seat. She put her seat belt on and looked at everyone. "Alright, make sure your seat belts are on because it's going to be a harsh drive off and a harsh stop!" Erina explained. Everyone put their seat belts on. Tomohito and Nagisa looked forward to Yuzuru and Saika, who looked a little pale.
"What's wrong?" Tomohito asked.
"This is going to be a scary ride." Saika said. Tomohito and Nagisa sweat dropped.
"Sit down or you'll go out the window..." Yuzuru said. The boys looked at each other and sat down. Just then, Erina put her foot on the pedal and they began to go over the speed limit.
"Ah!" They all screamed.
"Ok! This is too fast!" Nagisa shouted.
"I'm too young to die!" Oki cried into Izayoi.
"This is too much!" Izayoi exclaimed.
"Is she trying to kill us?!" Hiroto exclaimed.
"I don't want to die yet!" Hinata shouted.
"I have too much to live for to die!" Hinano shouted.
"Erina-Sensei! Slow down! Please!" The students cried.
"If you want to save your friends, then put up with it!" Erina said.
"I think I'm going to puke." Karasuma said.
"You're not the only one." Tristan and Korosensei said.
"Woo! Go Erina-Nee!" Irina shouted.
"Is she crazy?!" They all exclaimed.
"Hold on kids. We'll be there soon." Erina thought.
Meanwhile..
"So this is the place." Aria said as she took off her helmet.
"Hey. I forgot to ask. Do we even have any weapons?" Ichirin asked. The three girls sweat dropped.
"I forgot about that..." Aria said.
"Oh!" Jasmine said as she snapped her fingers.
"What?" Aria and Ichirin questioned. Jasmine pointed to a black van. The girls all nodded. They walked to the van and opened it up from the back. No one was in, but when they opened the doors, their eyes went wide.
"This is a lot of weapons." Jasmine said. They got in the van and picked up some knives, guns, blades, swords and guns.
"Here." Aria said as she passed Ichirin a gun. Ichirin stepped back and pushed it away with her eyes closed.
"I can't!" She said.
"Ichirin! Your friends are in danger and you can't even hold a gun?!" Aria exclaimed.
"I'm sorry... I can't..." Ichirin said.
"Fine." Aria sighed as she put the gun in her belt. The girls all nodded to each other before leaving the van and entering the factory. They walked through the halls. It was dark.
"This place was deserted before we were even born." Jasmine said.
"Really?" Ichirin asked.
"Yeah. This used to be a factory to build mechanics parts, but they went bankrupt and were forced to close the factory down." Jasmine said.
"How do you know this?" Aria asked.
"My dad used to work here when he was a teenager." Jasmine stated.
"Hm... Nerd." Aria said.
"Shut up!" Jasmine exclaimed. Ichirin suddenly stopped and stopped the other two by grabbed their shirts.
"Hey!" The two exclaimed.
"Sh!" Ichirin said. They went silent and then they heard footsteps. "People."
"You two hide. If they take me, I'll be able to lead you to the others." Aria said.
"But that's too dangerous." Jasmine said.
"Just go!" Aria ordered. Ichirin nodded and dragged Jasmine behind a machine.
"Hey! We can't leave her!" Jasmine said.
"I don't want to leave her either, but it's the only way of finding the others." Ichirin said.
"Fine..." Jasmine said. The two hid behind the machine and then a man walked down the halls. He stopped when he saw Aria. The man had black hair and dark eyes. He wore black trousers and a black turtle neck.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"Huh. Funny. I was going to ask the same question." Aria said with a grin. "Who are you?" She asked.
"That is none of your business. You shouldn't be in here." The man said.
"Neither should you. This place is abandoned." Aria responded.
"You're here for the students, are you not?" He asked.
"Heh. You're right." Aria said as she pulled out two guns from her belt and looked at the man. "You shouldn't leave your weapons unguarded." She said. The man looked at Aria and suddenly, he was in front of her. Aria's eyes went wide as he went behind her with the same speed and grabbed her from behind.
"Aria..." Ichirin whispered.
"You're coming with me." He said as he began to carry her over his shoulder.
"Hey! Put me down! Put me down you bastard!" She shouted.
"Come on. Let's follow her." Jasmine said.
"Right." Ichirin said.
...
"We're finally here..." Erina said with a sigh. Everyone else on the bus, apart from Irina, were holding their stomachs.
"I feel so ill right now." Takuya said.
"I feel like I ate some of your ramen." Itona said.
"Hey!" Takuya exclaimed. They all got off the bus.
"It seems the girls have already made it here." Ai said.
"Yeah. Jasmine's bike is here." Akito said.
"It looks like they took some stuff from here too." Ryoma said as he stood outside the van. The teachers walked to the van and looked inside it.
"This is a large stock for kidnappers." Karasuma said.
"What do you think they were going to do with it?" Kaede asked.
"Could they be expecting us to take them?" Nagisa asked.
"That is a possibility, but they probably brought it to take out the alien." Erina said. "But I can't help but feel like this is for more than the alien" She added.
"I have a name you know!" Korosensei cried.
"What do you mean?" Tristan asked.
"Well some of our parents are wealthy. Maybe they're holding them for ransom?" Saika suggested.
"Then why didn't they take you? Your family are probably the wealthiest in the city." Amaya said.
"And why would they take our siblings?" Ayato asked.
"Heh. Good point." Saika said.
"Maybe they needed something from one of us?" Hunter asked.
"Like what?" Toka asked. Hunter began to sniff the air.
"Hunter? What are you doing?" Koki asked. Hunter walked into the van and sniffed around. Everyone sweat dropped as lines went under their eyes.
"What is he doing?" Yuma asked.
"He's acting like a dog." Hiroto said.
"Found it!" Hunter said as he picked up some paper.
"You could smell paper?" Rio questioned.
"Nope. I could smell the ink. It was written with a quill and ink." Hunter said.
"You can smell ink?" Nagisa asked.
"Also, it has a scent of perfume on it. I almost missed it with Miss Bitch's perfume." Hunter said.
"It's vic! Jelavic!" Irina shouted.
"What does it say?" Yuudai asked.
"It just has this." Hunter said as he showed them the paper.
"The kanji says The Bloodlust Assassin." Erina said as she took the paper.
"What's that underneath?" Irina asked.
"Chi ni ueru koto no asashin wa korosa renakereba narimasen."
"Assassin of bloodlust must be killed." Karasuma said.
"Didn't the bloodlust assassin die?" Irina asked.
"Who's the bloodlust assassin?" Karma asked.
"He's an extremely skilled assassin. No one could run from him. If he saw someone he wanted to kill, they would die eventually, but only by his hand." Izayoi said.
"That's right. And he's not dead. They must have found out somehow." Erina said.
"Wait, he's alive?" Irina asked.
"His death was fake. It was so he could settle down with his family." Tristan said.
"You've met him?" Karasuma asked.
"He's Akita's father." Yuzuru said. Everyone's eyes went wide as they gasped.
