Chapter Forty Six: Night Two

"You sure you want to know?" Yuzuru questioned. Nagisa nodded.

"Yeah. I do." He said.

"I have... a problem..." She said.

Chapter Forty Eight: A Full Night Of Talking.

"What do you mean you have a problem?" Nagisa questioned.

"When I'm fighting... I try so hard to hold it in... but it just comes out..." Yuzuru said.

"What does?" Nagisa questioned. Yuzuru sighed.

"I have a bad blood lust problem... When fighting, I just... can't hold it back... I've never been like this before... It only began the start of the year, when we began training... I just go crazy... I can't stop myself..." Yuzuru said. Nagisa looked at Yuzuru.

"Have you told anyone about this?" He asked.

"They all figured it out when I went against Akita in front of everyone. Luckily I didn't hurt her, since she's way more skilled than me, but, still. I tried to kill her, but she managed to restrain me..." Yuzuru explained. She then put her hands together. "Please don't tell anyone. I don't want anyone else to find out just yet!" Yuzuru begged.

"Don't worry. I won't tell anyone." Nagisa said. Yuzuru sighed.

"Thank you Nagisa..." She said.

. . .

"So we've taken down three teams so far." Karma said. Akita nodded as she played around with her knife. The two were sat by the fire. Akita was leaning against a log as she played around with her knife while Karma laid down with his arms behind his head.

He was looking at the sky, being taken over by the night. He noticed a few stars were beginning to show themselves. Karma looked at Akita. She had stopped playing with her knife and was looking at the sky while holding her knees to her chest.

"Interested in the sky?" Karma questioned. Akita looked at him, before looking away with a frown.

"It's none of your business." She said.

"Oh?" Karma questioned as he sat up. "C'mon, tell me." He said with a smirk.

"It's personal." She said.

"But I'm curious now." Karma said as he crawled to her. "C'mon~!" He said. Akita just huffed. "Not going to tell me huh?" Karma questioned. Akita huffed once again. "You're not ticklish are you?" He questioned. He noticed Akita gulp.

"Of course not!" She huffed. Karma smirked as he began to tickle her side.

"H-hey! Stop that!" She exclaimed as she tried to move away from him, but Karma had a tight hold of her with a grin.

"Not until you tell me." He smirked. Akita began to laugh as she fell to the ground with Karma hovering over her.

"A-alright! I'll t-t-tell! Stop a-already!" Akita said. Karma grinned as he stopped. Akita managed to calm down and looked up at him. "Get off me now." She ordered with a frown.

"But I don't wanna!" He smirked. Akita hissed as she went to a hit him, but then Karma grabbed her wrist.  "You have to tell me now." He said with devil horns sticking out of his head. Akita sighed as she looked away to the side.

"It just reminds me of when me and my parents went camping..." She said. Karma's horns disappeared and his grin did too.

"When Akita was 8, her mother died of cancer. On that day, her father told her to never fall in love, because all it does is hurt you."

"I wonder if she misses her mother..." He thought. Akita looked at him and frowned.

"What are you staring at?!" She exclaimed.

"I've been staring? I didn't even notice..." He thought.

"You got a problem pal?!" She exclaimed.

"No, not at all." Karma said.

"Good. Now get off me before I hurt you." She said. Karma let her wrist go and sat up. Akita then sat up and moved away. "Don't ever do that again or a knife will enter your skull." Akita said with a cold glare.

"Yeah, yeah, of cause~!" Karma said as he put his hands up for surrender.

. . .

"Ah~! the fire is so warm~!" Saika smiled as she put her hands near the fire.

"Yeah. It's a relief." Tomohito said. He then looked at Saika. "Should I ask her?" He questioned. Saika looked at him.

"Is there something on my face?" She questioned.

"Oh! No! Sorry!" Tomohito said.

"Is there something on your mind?" Saika questioned.

"Well... There is something?" Tomohito said.

"What is it?" Saika asked.

"You know... On your birthday... At the festival?" Saika slowly began to turn red.

"U-uh-huh." She nodded.

"W-well... I was wondering... We n-never really made anything official... I was wondering if..." Tomohito said, but stopped when Saika sighed.

"I like you Tomohito, I really do, but things with my family are really complicated right now." Saika said.

"I see... I understand..." Tomohito said.

"My family are having a meeting..." Saika said.

"A meeting?" Tomohito questioned. Saika nodded.

"About me being the head of the Sumi family..." Saika said. "So... Do you mind waiting until then? The meeting is only in a few days." Saika said. Tomohito nodded with a smile.

"Yeah. Sure!" He said. Saika then smiled back.

"Thank you." She said.

 . . .

"We've been lucky so far huh?" Yukiko asked. Katsu nodded. "Katsu?" Yukiko questioned. Katsu looked at her. "Do you have a problem with me? You don't seem to talk much." Yukiko said.

"No..." He said.

"Then why are you so quiet and distant?" Yukiko questioned. Katsu sighed.

"If I get close... You'll break..." He said quietly.

"Break...?" Yukiko questioned as she looked at Katsu. Katsu was just looking down and Yukiko sighed. "What does he mean by that?" She thought.

. . .

"Wow. This is really good." Hinano gasped at the kabab sticks on a plate Korosensei had given her and Ayato.

"Tristan-Sensei must have cooked them. They're really tasty." Ayato said.

"Can't Erina-Sensei cook?" Hinano questioned. Ayato turned pale as he put his kabab stick down and covered his mouth.

"She tries, but they're not edible. Same with Ichirin." Ayato said.

"Really?" Hinano questioned.

"If either of them ever offer to cook, decline. You will be ill for a week." Ayato said.

"Ok. Thanks for the warning." Hinano said.

. . .

"So far we haven't run into anyone. Is that a good thing?" Toka questioned.

"I wouldn't say so. It means the strongest are left." Akito said.

"Really?" Toka questioned.

"Yeah, but I have a feeling we'll run into Ayato soon." Akito said.

"What gives you that feeling?" Toka questioned.

"It's the third day. Last time, he ambushed me on the third day and every year, our uncle takes us on a survival. Every year on the third day, he catches me." Akito said.

"So we'll have to be careful then." Toka said. Akito nodded.

 . . .

Ichirin was unconcious still from walking into the tree. She was soon waking up though and put her hand on her head.

"Ow... What happened?" She questioned. She looked around to see she was in her tent. She then got out the tent and saw Ryunosuke eating in front of the fire with his back to her. "How long have I been out?" She questioned. Ryunosuke jumped and choked on his kabab.

"Ah! Sorry! Are you ok?" Ichirin gasped. Ryunosuke nodded as he stopped choking.

"You've been out for half an hour." Ryunosuke said. Ichirin sighed.

"I'm sorry. You had to do everything." She said. Ryunosuke shook his head.

"It's fine." He said. He then picked up a plate and passed it to her with a smile. "Korosensei dropped these off." He said. Ichirin smiled.

"Thanks." She said.

. . .

"We've been lucky so far." Hinata said with a sigh of relief.

"Yeah. I don't know what we'd do if we got out against Akita." Haru said with a sigh.

"Or Karma. Those two tied. Im surprised." Hinata said.

"Same. No one has ever tied with Akita before." Haru said.

"So everyone says." Hinata said. "Are you sure you and Mel are cousins?" Hinata asked.

"Yes." Haru replied quickly. Hinata laughed.

"Just making sure Haruka." She said. Haru sighed. "You're very quiet about the truth. Why's that?" Hinata questioned.

"No one usually asks." Haru stated.

"Really?" Hinata questioned. Haru nodded. "That makes me curious now." She said and Haru chuckled.

. . .

Maemi and Itona ate in silence. They didn't speak to each other. Once they were finished though, they began to speak more. They spoke about the machine Maemi has been making to assassinate Korosensei. They mainly spoke about how it could be used to assassinate Korosensei, until Itona asked...

"What gave you the idea to make it?"

"Your tank." Maemi said.

"My tank?" Itona questioned. Maemi nodded.

"If I didn't destroy it, you could have possibly used it to sneak up on Korosensei and get to his heart, but then I thought, wouldn't it be better if it could move around on the walls too? Like a spider?" Maemi explained.

"But how did you know about his heart?" Itona asked.

"I asked around..." Maemi said.

"I see..." Itona said.

. . .

"Another reject?" Hiroto asked as Mel giggled.

"Sadly yes. You really need to step up your game in order to make me blush Maehara-Kun." Mel giggled. Hiroto has been using his charming playboy side to use pickup lines, but every one of his pick-up lines, Mel shot down by laughing. They were playing a game to see if he could make her blush.

"Alright. You say one then and see if I blush." Hiroto said. Mel put her finger on her flip as she began to think.

"Hm..." She said. "Ok, I got one." Mel said.

"Let's here it." Hiroto said.

"I don't usually believe in love at first sight, but I'm willing to make an exception for you~!" Mel said in a flirtious voice.

"Smooth. You got points. I like that voice too, but you didn't make me blush." Hiroto said. Mel then leaned forward to his ear.

"Not yet~!" Her voice sounded different. Seductive. Hiroto blushed as he looked at Mel, who went back and giggled. "I made you blush." She said.

"You sound like you've been in the game." Hiroto smirked.

"I used to be, but stopped a year ago." Mel said with a sigh.

"Why?" Hiroto said.

"Someone who I truly had feelings for was playing me. You don't truly understand the pain of something until it happens to you..." Mel said.

. . .

Silence filled the area Taisei and Jasmine sat in. Not one word left their mouths. Silence. All they could hear we owls and the wind moving the trees. Taisei kept glancing at Jasmine, who was just looking into the fire. As he glanced at her, Jasmine looked at him.

"What?" She asked. Taisei jumped and looked away. "If you got something to say, say it!" Jasmine ordered with a frown as she glared at the male slightly.

"It's just... are you actually a mechanic?" Taisei questioned.

"Heh?! That's what you've been looking at me for?" Jasmine asked as she raised an eyebrow.

"It's just, I didn't expect it and I heard you worked as one." Taisei said.

"Didn't expect it? I bet it's because I'm a girl? Right?" Jasmine exclaimed with a frown.

"No! You just don't seem to be the type of girl who enjoys getting her hands dirty!" Taisei said. Jasmine just huffed.

"I've been raised around mechanics my entire life! Of cause I don't care about my hands getting dirty!" She said. Taisei sighed.

"Do you take everything offensively?" He asked.

"Do you say everything in an offensive manner?" Jasmine asked.

. . .

"It's still not lighting!" Takuya exclaimed. Aria then hit him around the head. "Ow!"

"Move it! I'll do it!" She said. Takuya began to grumble as he moved out of the way. Aria snatched the matches from him and sat in front of the wood. She then lit a match under a small part of the fire. Just then, all the wood was on fire. "Sheesh. How can't you do that?" She asked. Takuya frowned as he grabbed the back of his head.

"Do you have to hit me all the time?! It's hurts ya know!" He exclaimed. Aria huffed.

"Life hurts! You just have to deal with it!" Aria said. Takuya just looked at her.

"Is that about your parents?" Takuya asked.

"Heh?! What did you say?!" Aria exclaimed as she stood up. Takuya went back. "Why the hell should I care about that?!" She exclaimed. Takuya frowned as he stood up. Aria stepped back.

"They're your parents! You should care!" He exclaimed.

"Why the hell should I care about people who can't keep a promise huh?!" Aria exclaimed.

"What promise?" Takuya questioned.

"Just forget it! What the hell do you know?! Both your parents alive?! Good for you! You know what it's like to have people care for you!" Aria shouted. Aria was about to storm off, but then Takuya grabbed her arm. "Let me go you bastard!" She shouted.

"Where the hell you going when it's this dark?!" He exclaimed.

"For a walk!" She exclaimed.

"It's dark!" Takuya said.

"So what?!" Aria exclaimed.

"So if you want to get away, go in the tent!" Takuya shouted.

"Why should I listen to you?!" Aria shouted.

"With the wild beasts going around at night! Do you want to be their snacks?!" Takuya exclaimed. Aria growled silently before looking away. Takuya sighed.

"Let go of me." She said quietly. Takuya let her arm go. Aria then walked past him to go inside the tent. Takuya sighed.

. . .

"No way! You play guitar?" Kaede gasped.

"Yep. I can sing too." Hunter grinned.

"Then why haven't I seen you in any of the videos?" Kaede asked.

"I find it best to stay out of the spot light." Hunter said, looking away.

"Really? But you seem to have a big ego." Kaede said.

"Rude!" Hunter exclaimed. Kaede just laughed.

"Sorry." She smiled. Hunter just huffed.

. . .

Silence...

Silence...

Silence...

"You mind telling me why my opinion was wrong?" Rinka questioned. Akio refused to look at her or even speak and it was starting to irritate her. They couldn't work as a team if he just simply ignored her.

"She's never been able to laugh. Why not make her laugh by acting clumsy?" Akio questioned.

"What do you mean?" Rinka questioned.

"She used to be bullied and at home, she's not allowed to laugh or she'll get scolded." Akio said. Rinka looked at him. "Work. Work. Work. No fun. No happiness. That's what I heard her parent say to her once. It's not fair. Why isn't she allowed to laugh? It's not right." Akio said. Rinka nodded in agreement.

"I guess your right. I shouldn't have judged her without understanding her full story." Rinka said.

"That's not even the full story." Akio said. He still had the cold look in his eyes as he looked at Rinka.

"I apologized. What more do you want?" Rinka asked. Akio just stood up and went into the tent. Rinka sighed.

Later on...

"Aw. Don't you want to be close like the first night?" Karma asked as he got in his little made bed.

"Come near me, and you get a knife to the throat." Akita threatened as she turned her back to him and went to sleep. Karma just smiled as he looked at her.

. . .

"Night Yuzu." Nagisa said.

"Night Nagisa." Yuzuru smiled before closing her eyes. Nagisa looked at Yuzuru.

"I have a bad blood lust problem... When fighting, I just... can't hold it back... I've never been like this before... It only began the start of the year, when we began training... I just go crazy... I can't stop myself..."

"That must be hard to deal with..." Nagisa thought.

. . .

"N-night." Saika said.

"Night." Tomohito said. The two were quite close. They had a small gap between them as they fell asleep. In that small gap, the two were holding hands.

"I hope everything goes well..." They both thought.
. . .

Yukiko was in the tent. She saw Katsu's shadow walking towards it. She quickly laid down in her bed and pretend to be asleep. Katsu walked into the tent and looked at Yukiko. He sighed as he looked at his hands.

"Girls break easily... I should have protected her more..."

"Dad's right... they do break easily..." Katsu thought as he walked to his bed.

. . .

"You sure you're not cold?" Ayato questioned.

"I'm fine." Hinano smiled.

"Are you-!" Ayato began to say, but then he heard Hinano sigh.

"The winds a little chilly but I'm fine." She smiled.

"Do you want my jacket?" He asked.

"I'm fine!" Hinano said.

"What if you catch a cold?" Ayato asked. Hinano giggled.

"You'd be a great dad in the future." She smiled.

"Heh?" Ayato questioned with a blank expression and a blush covering his face. Hinano giggled as she turned her back to him, closing her eyes.

"Night Ayato." She said.

"Nig-eh..." Ayato couldn't speak properly which caused Hinano to giggle.

"So that stops him from acting protective." She thought.

. . .

"Achoo!" Toka sneezed.

"Are you ok?" Akito asked.

"I'm fine. It's just a little chilly." Toka said. Akito began to go through his things.

"I swear I have a jacket in here somewhere." He said.

"It's fine Akito." Toka said.

"Found it!" Akito said. The way he shouted it, made it sound like he was proud of himself. He then passed the jacket to Toka. "This should keep you warm." He smiled. Toka took it.

"T-thanks..." She said as she out it on. She then got a strong scent. It wasn't a bad one. It smelt nice.

"Well, night?" Akito said before going to bed.

"Yeah. Night." Toka said. She then smelt the jacket. "It smells really good... is this what he smells like?" Toka thought as she looked at Akito.

. . .

Ryunosuke was in the tent. He was filling up his gun. Ichirin walked into the tent and froze. Ryunosuke looked up at her.

"You ok?" He asked.

"I-I'm f-fine." She said with a gulp. Ryunosuke then looked at the gun.

"Are you scared of guns?" He asked. Ichirin gulped as she stepped back. Ryunosuke put the gun in the bag and out his hands up. "It's gone?" He said. Ichirin sighed in relief. "So you are scared of them. Why?" Ryunosuke asked. Ichirin sighed again as she got into bed. She then turned her back to Ryunosuke.

"Guns kill people." She said before closing her eyes.

"That must have been what killed her parents..." He thought.

. . .

"It's getting late. We should call it a night." Haru said. Him and Hinata were in their tent.

"Aw. But I wanna hear more." Hinata said. Haru and Hinata were telling each other stories from their pasts. Haru was currently telling Hinata about the time Mel got her head stuck in a pan.

"Maybe tomorrow." Haru smiled.

"Alright then. Night." Hinata said.

"Good night." Haru said.

. . .

"Oh... it's nearly 11..." Maemi said. Her and Itona were in their tent, working on the spider which Maemi brought along some reason.

"We better go to sleep then." Itona said. Maemi nodded in agreement.

. . .

Mel yawned as she got in her bed.

"Tired already? We were only getting started." Hiroto said.

"It's late. Maybe we should continue tomorrow." Mel said. For you dirty minded people who thought they were doing something they shouldn't be doing, they were playing truth or dare.

"Yeah. You're right. Night." Hiroto said.

"Night player." Mel smiled.

"Hey..." Hiroto said. Mel giggled before falling asleep.

. . .

Taisei was trying to sleep, but couldn't. He just couldn't drift off. He looked at Jasmine who was reading a book on mechanics, using a torch for light, while listening to music through her headphones. Jasmine glanced in the corner of her eyes and took her headphones out.

"What now?" She asked.

"Can't sleep." He groaned.

"And looking at me will help, how?" Jasmine asked.

"I was just wondering what you're doing. Why are you still awake?" Taisei asked.

"You're not the only one having trouble sleeping?" Jasmine sighed.

"Oh..." Taisei said.

. . .

Aria has woken up, previously falling asleep. She looked around sleepily and saw Takuya wasn't there. Neither was his bed. She groaned, knowing she would have to look for him. She got up and went out side the tent. She saw him sleeping and sighed. She went back into the tent and got a water bottle. She then poured it on Takuya, waking him up.

"Oi!" He exclaimed sleepily.

"I'm not that repulsive. Get in the tent idiot." Aria said sleepily.

"What do you care?" He asked.

"I'm tired?" She stated before yawning and going into the tent. Takuya groaned as he got up and went into the tent.

. . .

Hunter snoring loudly, making Kaede wanting to suffocate him. She sat up, picked up her pillow and hit him.

"Huh? What?" He questioned with drool falling down his chin.

"Stop snoring! I can't sleep!" Kaede said.

"Sorry." Hunter yawned before falling asleep again and continued to snore. Kaede grabbed her pillow and hit him again.

"Stop it!" She shouted.

. . .

"Night." Rinka said, looking at Akio, who had his back to her.

"Night..." He said quietly. Rinka sighed.

. . .

As everyone slept peacefully, a yellow flash went around the forest, going to each tent.
