Four
As soon as they got to the Master's office, Jeongguk pushed Taehyung onto the seat in front of Yoongi, standing by his side in case he'd try to run. Not that Taehyung would be stupid enough to make an attempt with all the assassins laying around but Jeongguk had to be careful.
The CEO was looking at the man behind the desk as he shifted uncomfortably in his chair, anxious about what the pale man would do to him if he wouldn't answer the questions.
Yoongi never enjoyed the feeling of the burning sun against his skin. He avoided going outside during the summer because of it. The pale white skin color he managed to obtain was mesmerizing in a way. Everyone was astonished by it, getting compliments from every single person he came in contact with. The biggest plus he ever got from having such light toned skin was that it allowed him to look amazing with any hair color he wanted and the current platinum blond was proving the point.
The truth was that Taehyung wasn't in the company for so long to cover up the asses of his so-called employees if his life was at stake but he was brave enough to push the assassin's hand just because he was stubborn. Especially if the raven-haired assassin was going to interview him and Taehyung wished Jeongguk would be the one in charge of getting answers because he had a feeling he'd charm his way out of there eventually. He'd seen the boy look at him with not so innocent eyes but he played it cool, took it to his advantage.
'Master, he is the man I had spoken to you about earlier on the phone.' Jeongguk placed a hand on Taehyung's shoulder, making him shudder at the weight of it.
'I see. Mr. Kim, is it?' Yoongi asked, looking straight into Taehyung's eyes.
It was a cold look. One that Taehyung hated most. Why couldn't people be more bright when it came to their business? Always threatening and killing each other. That was not what he signed up for when he joined the company three months ago. It was his uncle's gift to him for his 22nd birthday to give the blond his position since it was time for the old man to retire but he expected it to be a little easier than this.
'Yes. Why am I here?' He tried to play dumb. Maybe they'll let him go if he was convincing enough.
'Nice try, Mr. Kim but let's not play dumb here.' Yoongi let out a cocky laugh. He has been an assassin for six years and still counting. He knew when something wasn't right. Besides, Taehyung wasn't the only one who tried that card with him. 'Now, tell me. Where is the object Yuri brought to you?' Yoongi stood up from his desk, circling the table to get to Taehyung's side.
'What object? I don't know what you're talking about, man. I swear I was just trying to get laid.' Taehyung defended immediately.
And that's how Yoongi always knew. That immediate reaction was what gave everyone up. But that is the brain's defense mechanism when it knows you're getting in trouble for something you're guilty about.
'Let's stop this charade, shall we? I know you sent her to bring it to you. I'm asking where it is.' Yoongi lowered himself to be at level with Taehyung's eyes and watched as the CEO's eyes darted to his lap.
'I-I don't know. When I came back into the room, it was on my desk but then this asshole, here,' He pointed to Jeongguk and the latter couldn't help but roll his eyes at his antics before gripping his shoulder painfully tight and earning a hiss from the blond. 'he beat me up and when I looked back it was gone.' Taehyung admitted. And in his defense, the Master Assassin was looking really scary and Taehyung really thought he might kill him if he didn't answer the question.
'I have it, Master. I thought it might be important.' Jeongguk opened his jacket to reveal the round metallic item that was dimly shining pink rays throughout the room.
'Good job, my student.' Yoongi praised, extending his hand to take it out of Jeongguk's palm. 'As for you,' He pointed at the CEO but directed his words to Jeongguk, 'Take him to apartment 22. Don't leave his side until you learn anything useful. Do whatever it takes. Beat him, slap him, torture him, I don't care. I need the names of everyone who's involved in this mess. Understood?' Yoongi looked at Jeongguk dead in the eyes and the young assassin could only nod, annoyed that he had to babysit the obnoxious man next to them. 'Now, go and take care of him. Jimin is gonna fill in for you on the field.' He pointed towards the door.
Jeongguk grabbed Taehyung's arm and yanked him off the chair, earning a whine from the man as they exited the Master's office. The whole walk to the elevator, Taehyung took risky glances at the boy, giggling under his breath, annoying Jeongguk even more.
'What's so funny?' Jeongguk turned so suddenly it made Taehyung almost bump into him but the blond stopped in time, only a few inches away from the boy.
'Nothing. It's just, you're kidding yourself if you think I'm gonna cave and tell you those names.' He smirked at Jeongguk, tilting his head to the side.
'We'll see about that, won't we?' Jeongguk took a hold of Taehyung's arm, shoving him forward to get moving.

'What is that thing doing here? Do you want to kill us all?' Jeongguk's mother shouted at Yoongi as Jeongguk stood by her side, holding her hand.
' Shut up, Suji. It won't kill anyone. It's here because it belongs here. In the hands of the Assassins and nobody should know about it.' Yoongi growled, looking at the glowing globe in his hand.
'It killed my husband, Yoongi. It's dangerous and you have to get rid of it.' She fought back as Yoongi glared at her, shaking his head.
'You know nothing. If this falls into the wrong hands, we're doomed and I can't allow that. If you have a problem with it, I suggest you leave.' Yoongi scoffed, still playing with the metallic globe in his hand.
Yoongi took it into his own hands to became me Master Assassin after he discovered how powerful he could be with the apple in his possession.
'Then maybe I will. Let's go, Jeongguk.' She took the boy's hand but Yoongi tsked, putting the object aside before he went near the woman.
'He won't go anywhere. He is going to be trained to be an assassin just like his father.' Yoongi said coldly.
'No, he's not. I don't want him to die just like his father for some stupid antiquities.' She reasoned even though she knew she got no chance against Yoongi.
'You know the deal. Jeongguk is going to be an assassin and that's final.' Yoongi spoke sternly as she broke down crying.

'Shit!' Jeongguk cursed, grabbing his head as he leaned against the wall next to the elevator.
'Dude, are you alright?' Taehyung looked at him, slightly worried. He didn't care about the man but his condition was pitiful.
Jeongguk's head was hurting and his walk was funny as he had to use the wall to guide himself and lean against it when he felt the room spinning every few moments.
Stupid dreams.
'Don't 'dude' me. And I'm perfectly fine. Move.' Jeongguk shoved Taehyung into the elevator once it opened the doors and pressed the button for the 10th floor as soon as they got inside.
'Well, I don't know your name, so...' Taehyung looked at him expectantly. 'This is the part where you tell me your name.' He whispered.
'Why would I do that?' Jeongguk asked, scrunching his face in disgust. 'You're a prisoner and if you escape my life would be at risk. I highly doubt it would happen, judging by your level of intelligence but I like to keep it safe.' He explained.
'My level of intelligence?' Taehyung asked offended as Jeongguk smirked, enjoying teasing the other. 'I'll have you know, I'm a highly ranked CEO, Mr. What's Your Name.' He scoffed.
'Sure. Your uncle was and you know when relatives give you jobs, they give you the reputation as well, so it doesn't mean shit. You didn't work for it.' Jeongguk spoke calmly as Taehyung murmured something under his breath, which sounded mostly vulgar.
'Just tell me your name, come on. You know I won't be getting out of here if I'll have you on my ass 24/7.' Taehyung whined. He really wanted to know his name, so he'll use it later to annoy him further.
'I won't tell you anything and that's final, so could you stop asking for it?' Jeongguk sighed exasperatedly. 'Maybe if you work for it...' He winked at the man, expecting the man to get offended at his advances or even flustered in the best case scenario but instead, the blond smirked at him, getting closer.
'And what do I have to do, Mr. Hotshot?' Taehyung drew closer, tongue darting out to dampen the pink, puffy lips, catching Jeongguk's eye and making him gulp at the sight.
Upon seeing the effect Taehyung had on Jeongguk, his smirk grew wider as a spark of hope began to rise in his chest. The thought of getting out of there soon was fueling him to go further. The assassin wasn't bad looking and Taehyung considered himself to be bisexual, so it wouldn't be bad at all to get laid after all the stress he's been through.
'Hmm, I don't know. What do you propose, baby?' Jeongguk shot back. He won't be the one to cave even if the blond was pretty hot and apparently willing to do anything for Jeongguk to let him go. Besides, he wasn't one to sleep with his enemies as it was mentioned before but it was fun to get them riled up for nothing.
'Whatever you'd like, love.' Taehyung trailed the length of Jeongguk's arm with his index, biting his lip seductively. He was convinced that he had the assassin wrapped around his pinkie.
Jeongguk leaned closer to his ear, whispering hotly, 'I'd like for you to drop this act. I'm not that easy. Love.' He drew back, watching as Taehyung stood there shocked while Jeongguk only smirked at him before the elevator's bell rang and opened its doors.
One hand grabbed Taehyung's as he dragged him through the empty hallway towards their new shared apartment. As soon as they got to the door, Jeongguk slid the card in front of the doorknob and waited for the light to turn green before the door clicked open and he pushed it aside to make way for Taehyung to go in first.
The room was spacious with a flat screen tv that Taehyung doubted he'd get the chance to watch something on, and a large black leather couch with a modern coffee table in front of it. The kitchen was connected to the living room by a long aisle next to the cabinets and the necessary electronics besides the fridge that Taehyung assumed was filled with food and drinks. There was only one door that he assumed led to the bedroom which made him wonder, where was he going to sleep if the assassin was going to choose it before him.
'I'll take the couch, don't worry. That way I get to watch your every move, sweetheart.' Jeongguk gave him a tight-lipped smile. Taehyung was slightly relieved but then how was he supposed to escape if the raven-haired boy was right outside the room?
'Gee, thanks for thinking about my back.' Taehyung smiled mockingly before he took a seat on the stool at the aisle. 'So you're really not telling me your name, huh?' He tried again.
'I don't tell my name to people I don't trust.' Jeongguk deadpanned, walking towards the couch after he locked the door with the keycard.
He plopped on the plushy cushion, grabbing the remote to turn on the tv and switched to the music channel. Putting the remote away, he stood up and walked towards Taehyung. The man having stood frozen on the spot in the middle of the room ever since they walked inside.
'Can't I do anything to earn your trust?.... Daddy?' He tried the name in a flirty voice, anxious to see the effect it had on the assassin. But it backfired as the boy started laughing out loud.
'Wow, you're really trying, aren't you?' Jeongguk said amused as he approached the older, one hand going up to brush the hair out of his eyes. 'Sorry, love, but I don't sleep with criminals.' He pouted mockingly.
'But I'm not a criminal!' Taehyung stomped his foot like a child, starting to get tired of that image that seemed to haunt him everywhere he went.
'If you're not a criminal, then tell me the names of those associates of yours because they sure as hell are.' Jeongguk cupped his cheek, maintaining the eye contact.
'I can't do that either.' He whined. 'If they'd find out I sold them out, they'll kill me the second I step foot into the company again.' Taehyung groaned, looking down at his shoes.
'I'll protect you. Don't worry.' Jeongguk was getting his hopes up by the older's signs of cooperation and he knew he shouldn't be but he just had a feeling. That combined with the way his aura changed every second.
'You won't even tell me your name. I doubt you'll take a shot for me.' Taehyung mumbled as Jeongguk let his hand fall to his side.
'I said I protect you, not die for you.' He corrected as the other rolled his eyes.
'Exactly. So unless you're willing to do that I'm not saying a word.' Taehyung pushed past him to get to the couch, the aura around him turning a more concentrated red.
Jeongguk knew he had to do something and he had a feeling that torture might not be the key to getting the answers out of Taehyung. He had to earn the guy's trust and sweet talk him into spilling the truth. Yoongi might disagree with his technique but it never failed to accomplish his missions so far and that was exactly what Taehyung was. His mission.
