"WAKE UP, LASS!"

You snort awake, sleepy eyes snapping open and body sitting straight up from the couch. You yank your arms in the air, waking up from a dream where you were being arrested. Accidentally falling asleep on the couch, you forgot that one of your roommates could be a bit obnoxious.

"I'm up!" You shout, cheeks blooming blood red.

Edward, your usually drunk roommate howls with laughter at your messy hair and scowling face. He bends down beside the couch, giving you a cheeky smile. You clench a fist, ready to punch the smile off his face. Instead of taking up for yourself like you usually do, you flop back down and close your eyes once more. But you always had tricks up your sleeves.

"Connor! Haytham! Edward won't let me sleep!" You screech into the couch cushions, hoping your other two roommates would come to your aid. They usually do.

Two other men come walking from the back rooms, eyes narrowed at the Welsh accented man in the middle of the living room. Edward looks down to your figure, clenching his jaw when seeing you looking up at him with a mischievous smile. As much as he hated that smile, he found it quite attractive as well.

"Why are you waking her up this time, Edward?" Haytham asks, walking over with Connor hot on his heels.

You sit back up with a heavy sigh, realizing you wouldn't be able to get back to sleep. With evil eyes, you stand from the couch and stretch, watching Edward and his son bicker. As your bones pop into place and the feeling of sweet relief washes over your stiff body, Connor walks over to you, giving that soft smile that you adored. Connor would never admit it to himself, but he loves when your hair is all messy. One of the many things he loves about you.

"Sorry about the rude wake up call," Connor pats your head, not even caring about your slightly messy hair.

You blush, cuddling up to his warm side only to have your wrist clamped onto and you're dragged over to the fight between Edward and Haytham. Edward holds you against his chest, gripping your wrist tightly, but not tight enough to hurt you.

"Why am I over here?" You ask, only to have Haytham grab your waist and slyly steal you from Edward.

"He's just mad because I won this conversation." Haytham gives a smug smile over to his father.

You roll your glazed over eyes over Connor and Edwards faces before giving a lazy shrug and falling limp into Haytham's chest. Haytham arms wrap around your waist and pull you close, keeping you out of Connor's and Edward's reach. Haytham loved how short you were compared to him. He loved spooning your sleeping figure when you accidentally walk into his room and fall asleep in his bed.

From the year you have lived with these guys, the more you realized every one was different from the other. Edward had that 'I don't care' attitude. He did what he wanted. Nothing more, nothing less. Connor was quiet most of the time, usually staring out windows or at his lap while making dreamcatchers. But other than his shyness, he was a sweet guy to be around. You just had to step past the giant bear feeling and get to know the real him.

Now Haytham? He was definitely interesting. His attitude was always so calm and cool. He never lost his temper, but he would make heavy threats. He's very polished, gentlemanly and knows how to treat a lady.

Let's just say, all three of these guys stole your heart. It's pretty selfish to love all of them with everything you have, but how can you pick just one? None of them are taken, none of them seem to want to date anyone expect one woman, but they wouldn't say who. You were too shy to admit any kind of feelings towards them, and you were also scared that they would find out that you loved them all. Little did you know that they loved you just as much.

You all acted as family. You defended each other, you laughed, you cried, you even had full on fights with every one of them at one point. I mean, everything turned out okay in the end, but it was bad during the fights. You weren't one to back down. A small, helpless woman would cower away at having a tall, very beefed up man standing in front of her. Connor isn't scary all the time, but he can be. Especially when fighting. Edward is always very blunt and doesn't back down... just like you. You slapped him across the face so hard one time that the handprint was left for days. You apologized afterwards, though.

And Haytham takes fights calmly. He keeps his head held up high, voice soft, and arms crossed behind his back. But he doesn't need to yell to make you back down, no. His sharp tongue sent you into tears one time. You were busy yelling, trying to get out your feelings while Haytham slowly started to burn. Let's just say, you didn't talk to him for a month.

But you still look past the flaws. Even if sometimes it's hard to.

"It's not my fault she takes up most of the couch, mate!" Edward shouts at Haytham.

You push yourself away from Haytham, eyes pooling with slight anger. Connor gasps, slapping a hand over his mouth immediately after. Haytham backs away, face full of the all knowing.

"Are you calling me fat?" You ask, eyes narrowing on Edwards now trembling figure.

You didn't play this card very often. But you wanted to change things up a bit.

"Nope," his quick reply makes you smirk.

You flop back down on the couch beside Connor, laying your head in his lap and giving an innocent smile. His large hands tangle into your hair, starting to braid with carefulness. Looking back over to Edward, your innocent smile is replaced with a grin.

"I hope so," you snap back, flipping him off.

He scoffs, giving you the middle finger as well. Connor grabs your hand and holds it gingerly, covering your middle finger so you couldn't lift it again. Haytham puts a palm to his forehead, mumbling under his breath.

Yep. This family is all worth it.
