Scaring the Hell Out of the Torturer

"Hold up. You want what exactly? You are insane," Chaos said looking incredulously at the son of Poseidon.

"I said that I want a suicidal quest. Its not hard to understand why. They are the Fates and know exactly why im here. They just didn't know what I want. Anyway I need one and if they don't give me one then ill kill them. Simple as that."

Reyna and Zoe looked at him in disbelief.

"You cant kill the Fates Percy. They are very powerful and if you were to kill them then the balance of Fate itself would be destroyed," Zoe said, her eyes still wide in shock.

"Actually he can. He has the power to do so and if they were killed I would just have their mother take over since she created it all in the first place. So there is nothing stopping him. I wouldn't because they annoy the hell out of me and I hate putting up with three little brats," Chaos explained.

Percy smiled in victory at the three now very pale Daughters of Ananke.

"So either give me the memories or a quest. If you give me the memories now then I will owe you a favor, but of you have chosen to give me a quest then I will complete the quest."

The Fates huddled together to discuss what they should do.

After five minutes of continuous hushed whispers, the daughters of Ananke stepped away from each other and looked at Percy.

"We have decided to give you a quest that will also benefit you in the war with Order. You must travel down to the depths of Tartarus and become the champion of the pit. You will fight many dangerous foes down in the arena. We will give you a curse or blessing, whichever you prefer, that will let you absorb the powers from every thing you kill."

Percy looked at them in shock.

"Why would you want me to have this? Is there a catch," the son of Poseidon asked?

The three smiled creepily and nodded.

"You will never die. You will be granted with the curse of going insane if you cannot over come the corruption from these powers. The power will try to take you over and if it does then all will end."

He looked between Chaos and his two friends.

"There's another way I'm sure of it," Zoe said desperately. She wasn't going to have him die on her. He was her friend and she didn't let friends go on quests to die.

He shook his head sadly.

"No there isn't. I shall become the champion of the pit. Besides, once I do that I'll get the blessing of Tartarus himself and with his powers there is a very high chance that I'll be able to overcome insanity."

Reyna had been silent throughout the entire conversation and it was beginning to scare the crap out of Percy.

"What do you think Reyna?"

She looked up in surprise, she hadn't expected anyone to ask her about anything important like this.

"Uh I think you should do it, but maybe find away for someone to go with you to watch your back," she said.

"No."

Percy glared at the Fates.

"You three old hags are really starting to piss me off. I am very close to killing you to end my rapidly growing head ache," he growled.

Despite the threat, they just glared right back at him.

"It is a quest for you to endure alone. You cannot receive help from anyone or anything!"

The assassin of Hades just rolled his eyes. "I can still have someone go with me so I can have company. For carrying out fate, you aren't very smart."

All three daughters of Ananke turned red in anger. They would love to smite this boy from existence, but they didn't have the power to do so. Also Chaos would just kill them because he was fond of the boy.

"Fine you can take someone with you, but they are not allowed to help you at all."

He just smiled, obviously making fun of the three.

"Just go before we change our minds."

Percy rolled his eyes as he and his two friends followed him out of the room. Just as they were about to close the door behind them, Percy stuck his hand back around so the Fates could see it and showed them his middle finger.

The door slammed shut just as a Fate was about to say something in reply.

"You just made an enemy of the Fates. Do you know how stupid that is? I have no idea where you get your stupidity from or how you are still alive," Reyna said.

"Well to be fair, I did die before."

He grimaced at the memories of being electrocuted, slowly dying as the Olympians watched in sick fascination. Well most of them excluding Poseidon, Hades, and Hestia.

He had been sentenced to death because he was believed to be a murderer. Oh how he wish he could pull his hood down and laugh at the Olympians expressions.

"Can we continue before we end up going into a long conversation on how you you died or have you changed your mind about this quest," Zoe asked hopefully?

Reyna nodded and before either of the girls realize what was going on, Percy grabbed their hands and flashed them to the underworld.

Once she got her balance back, Reyna turned and punched him in the chest, making him stagger back a bit.

As he rubbed his chest, obviously in pain the three torturers of Hades appeared. The Furys.

"Hello master Perseus. It is good news to see you have finally returned home. Also we would like to tell you that Rex has been kept safe in your absence. I think he is in Hades palace, but no one knows with that cat. The thing can eat through an eighteen wheeler and still be able to eat a few cows," the middle fury stated.

Percy laughed at the fury's trouble. "Thank you Alecto. I am going to Tartarus so I need you to do me a favor. Send him to camp Jupiter so he can help defend the legion in case they are attacked by my asshole of a relative."

The fury tried to think of who he was talking about before the son of Poseidon sighed in irritation. "Order Alecto, Order."

Her eyes widened and her very pale skin took on a light shade of pink. "U-uh I'm s-so sorry m-my lord. I should have understood who you were talking about to begin with. It will not happen again," Alecto stuttered in fear.

Percy just laughed at her fearful expression.

"It's fine. I'm not Hades who sends you to the fields of punishment because you screw up a little. Now hurry along before I feed you to Cerberus."

All three furys quickly flapped their wings in an attempt to leave before Percy actually carried out his threat. He had done it once and ever since then they had been scared of him. He just used that to his advantage when ever he needed something from them.

"Okay so we need to get to Hades palace before I leave with whomever I choose to go with me."

Once again they made their trek further into the darkness of the underworld.
