"Just because I brought you back from the dead once, doesn't mean I can do it again," Hades exclaimed.

They had been arguaing over this for the past hour while Zoe and Reyna sat briefly in some chairs.

"I don't care uncle. Besides I'm immortal anyway. Can't die because of it uncle," Percy countered.

"You can't go to Tartarus and expect to win in the arena. Even if you do end up winning, it will take years before your back and by then it might not even matter."

"I'm still going and you can't make me. Bye uncle. See you in three days time," Percy said as he and the two girls disappeared.

Hades sat on his throne, thinking about how irritating his nephew was, but he knew Poseidon's son meant well.

"You can still back out now, Percy," Zoe said.

He shook his head in disagreement. "No I must do this. I can't let my cousins murderer get away because I was too scared to go to Tartarus!"

Lightning crackled across his skin.

After a few deep breathes, Percy finally calmed down. "I can't fail them. I won't fail them."

Reyna looked at him sadly. All he ever wanted was to settle down and live his life with family and friends and now the Fates have changed all of that. He would never be happy.

He was used as a pawn and now he is a play thing for powerful deitys.

Then again, he is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and the luckiest survivor there ever was.

"Well if anyone wants to join me in hell, now is a good time to speak up."

Before she could even process what she was doing, Reyna automatically responded.

"I'll go!"

Zoe looked at her with small smirk, obviously understanding why while Percy just stood there looking confused.

"Well okay, but remember where we are going. I don't know if I'll be able to protect you. Especially when I'm down there, fighting in the arena."

The daughter of Bellona shrugs her shoulders. "I'll be fine. Besides, I've brought all of the weapons that I'm going to need anyway. Also every other set of supplies."

"Are you sure? I could go down there instead," Zoe said. She didn't want Reyna to die just because she has a crush on Percy.

The praetor of New Rome nodded and before anyone could say anything, she jumped into the pit.

Percy on the other hand just stood there confused about the entire situation. "Well she certainly loves danger," the son of Poseidon commented.

Zoe just laughed at him. "Just go before she gets herself killed because she has a crush on you."

"She wh-," He tried to say, but Zoe pushed him in after Reyna.

They were going to be gone a long while, so Zoe decided to find Artemis and the hunters so they could make peace. By showing her true identity to her former mistress.

The wind whipped in Percy's ears, making it hard for him to hear. His eyes burned and it wasn't helping him find Reyna, who had decided to jump in before he could even say anything.

Gods she was crazy. Well he was too, but at least he had the power to stop himself from becoming a pancake. Reyna on the other hand, only had power in battle.

After a couple of minutes of looking for the daughter of Bellona, Percy saw someone madly flailing their arms.

She seemed to be trying to slow her fall and it was working, but only a little bit.

The son of Poseidon closed his eyes and focused on the power of the sky.

Slowly the winds made her slow down and made him speed up. All he needed to do was get to her and use his powers over the dark to his advantage.

Just as he was a couple of feet from her, a winged beast swooped down and grabbed Reyna by the foot, letting her hang there while the monster swooped down faster.

Well at least she wasn't going to be smashed to bits. Just shredded like chicken. Percy could hear her trying to fight off the thing, but she wasn't putting up much of a fight since there was little she could do while hanging in the air.

As these thoughts swam through his mind, Percy's anger kept on growing in a violent storm of power. He began to pick up speed to where he was next to the monster in seconds.

"You have three seconds to give her to me or I'll make sure you never reform you piece of shit!"

The beast dropped Reyna in surprise. Percy blasted the beast with lightning and took off to find the daughter of Bellona.

It took him a minute or two, but Percy was able to find and catch Reyna before she became a small bit of red splatter of the vast grounds of Tartarus. 

He quickly wrapped her into a hug so she couldn't get away from him again. "So this was your master plan? Jump into Tartarus without me. I have to say, it was a bold move," he laughed at her embarrassed expression.

"Shut up Percy. I thought you were coming in behind me. Forgot you had to say goodbye to Zoe."

"Actually she just had to tell me something."

"What's that?"

"She told me about this girl that has a crush on me apparently. I have to admit, the girl is very pretty and I kinda like her too," he said, waiting to see her response.

She couldn't see his face because it was too dark, but he had the blessing of Hades and that gave him the ability to see in the dark.

She narrowed her eyes. Whoever thought they could have him was a complete fool. She liked him and no one was going to just come in and take him from her.

"Who?"

He could here the bitterness in her words and tried to hold back from laughing, but a small chuckle escaped from his mouth.

"Actually you know her. She's brave, pretty, smart, funny, and not afraid to try and kick my ass when I need it."

"Well I hope you are happy with her. She must be worried about you."

Anger and bitterness were still clearly evident in her voice.

"Do you want to know her name?" This was probably about the worst place for him to do this, but he didn't know if he would ever get another chance.

"Sure. Why not. Bet it's someone I don't like."

Wow she really wasn't happy about this. At least for the moment anyways.

He put his lips next to her ear and whispered the one name that would change everything for the both of them.

"Reyna, daughter of Bellona and praetor of the Twelth Legion."

Her facial expression was priceless. Her mouth kept opening and closing, making her look like a goldfish.

"You might want to close your mouth. You might catch something worse than flies down here."

She frowned before looking up and punching him in the stomach. "You waited until we are falling down into hell before you told me!"

"Well to be honest, I didn't know if you felt the same way until Zoe said something about you having a crush on me. That just confirmed it for me."

She smiled slightly before grabbing his face in her hands and smashing her lips to his. It wasn't a super passionate kiss, but it would suffice for the moment.

She was about to say something when she felt herself being flipped around on his back. "Hold on. We are about to have a rough landing," he said just as they blasted through the sound barrier in hell.
