Crimson polluted the verdant grass.

My knees gave it as a fierce pain roared.

Raynor stared down at me.

Tears ran down his eyes.

Though I doubted that they were authentic.

He was always stronger despite being the youngest.

How I hated him...

My entire body became like the tip of a candle.

But instead of fire, shadows enveloped me.

An eerie red and black pulse of energy shook the land--tearing and shattering the barrier of light.

Only Raynor jumped out of his own barrier and compressed the collapsing spell.

"Stop it!" 

"No! I've invested too much into this to simply go ahead and die at your hands!" 

The gaping wound rapidly closed and my entire body became draconic. 

A mighty roar shattered the remnants of the barrier and caused the ground to shatter.

Soon our once peaceful birthplace became a living hell...
