Jason escorted me back to my next class.

Well, technically third period.

I hoped that not much was covered in second period.

Thankfully rarely much is done in the first days of school.

"Olivia!" Elliot greeted me, waving his head in the air.

He was sitting with Alex.

Alex looked up.

His eyes peered deep into me.

I looked away.

What was his issue?

Was he trying to read my mind or something?

And if so, what for?

I sat down next to the silent psychic and took out my notebook.

"Everything went well?" the psychic asked.

I kept my eyes on the teacher as she chalked down math problems.

"Yeah."

His eyes felt like they were still on me.

"Why wouldn't I be alright?"

He leaned against the table.

"You had your prana drained. Not fully but some. Can you still perform magic?"

I vigorously wrote down the math problems on the board.

Alex sighed as he opened his notebook.

"Sorry for prying."

He should be.

Though at least he was asking.

The guy probably could obtain the answers by reading my mind if he wanted to.
