Same place where we leave off from Scene 11. Gabby tries to change the topic.

GABBY: "I'm sorry about Christian but it's not the end of the world. There are plenty of guys in school who wanted to go out with you, and who knows, you two might fall in love..."

(Taylor is ticked.)

TAYLOR: "I just broke up with the man I loved, and here you are suggesting I should get back at him by dating the first guy that asks me out at the wrong time."

(Clovis enters and walks toward Taylor and Gabby.)

CLOVIS: "Hi Taylor, Gabby."

(Both of them respond back but the ticked off Taylor looks away from him.)

"Taylor, are you okay?"

GABBY: "She is not in a good mood to talk now, Clovis."

(Gabby made Taylor very angrily.)

TAYLOR: "Me and Christian broke up."

CLOVIS: "My apologies for asking you a bad question. Wait, how did you break up with him?"

TAYLOR: "You know, when a man falls for another woman, he hangs out with her and leaves me out in the open!"

CLOVIS: "Out in the open?"

GABBY: "It means he spending more time with her than he does with Taylor."

CLOVIS: "Oh!"

[Stages light are dim off; spotlight shines at Clovis.]

(The girls stand frozen like time stops their moment. Clovis turns to the audience.)

"She's available. Now is my chance to ask her out before they get back together."

[Spotlight dim off; stage lights dim-on.]

(Clovis looks back to the girls as they unfreeze.)

Taylor, I know you got your heart broken but there's something I want to ask you."

TAYLOR: "What is it?"

CLOVIS: "Hm...

(He scratches his cheek when he gets nervous.)

I've been thinking about us ever since I've moved here and how we first met in this hallway when you're next door to my locker.

(Stops scratches.)

Anyway, I was wondering--"

GABBY: "Are you sure you want to ask her now? She needs some time to--"

(Taylor is getting annoyed and talks back at her.)

TAYLOR: "Let him talk!"

(The threaten Gabby stand still and looked at Clovis as he was starting to worry.)

CLOVIS: "I was hoping that we could hang out later, after school. Just the two of us."

(Gabby glares at Taylor with shook.)

TAYLOR: "Seriously, I just got my heart broken and you ask me out."

CLOVIS: "But you're not Christian's girlfriend anymore and I've loved you since the day I met you and I'm hoping that we become more than friends and get to know you more."

TAYLOR: "I don't want to be more than your friend and I don't think you know me that well. In fact, you never knew me, at all. You don't want to date someone like me, trust me, I'm not your type."

(Gabby's jaw drops and she turns to Clovis as his temper bounce back at her.)

CLOVIS: "I know I'm not your type or anyone's type, that's what I hate about myself. Everyone keeps telling me that there are a lot fish in the sea, but I do not care about fish

(Gabby wants to clarify the meaning of that phrase but thinks it's better to shut up because Clovis is piss off.)

but that's not the point. I know I'm not Christian or some hunk that you could fall for but you pretty girls shouldn't leave innocent guys like me out in the cold just because you're fed up about a break-up or waiting for someone better to come around. All my life, I tried to make friends in Middle school but those people don't have time to hang with me because they all are in a relationship. If I have a girlfriend, maybe I will have friends that will have the time to hang out with me and still everyone ignores me. Why do think I don't have any friends or why do I hate Crown Point so freaking much? Do you have any idea what you could miss out on? You're missing out on a wonderful night with a wonderful guy.

(Gabby's jaw lifted as she and Taylor were astounded to hear those words from a guy with Aspergers. Taylor didn't say a word and just stands still.)

You know what, forget it. You are like the other girls they're selfish! You care about nothing but yourself. And do you want to know what is the worse part about you? You have a craving for sex but you were hoping you do it with Christian.

(Taylor and Gabby's jaws drop in shock. How did he know that?)

That's it, isn't it? Ever since Danielle had sex with tons of guys in school, everyone here wants a piece of the action and wants to sleep with whomever they want.

(Clovis exhales as he cries.)

You know what Taylor? You're the worst girl I've ever met! I wish you were dead!"

(Clovis exits. Taylor turns away from Gabby and begins to sob.)

GABBY: "It's alright. It was just a misunderstanding."

(Taylor got up and pushes her back.)

TAYLOR: "Shut up bitch! I never want to see any of you ever again."

(Taylor run off as she exits.)

[Lights fade-off; End of scene.]
