THIS IS WHY YOU KEEP YOUR PASSWORD A SECRET -Aurora
As the sun peaked over the horizon, its golden rays pierced through the closely grouped trees of Amarynth forest, reflecting off the myriad of brightly coloured wildflowers in paradox meadow.
Early morning fog wisped across the damp, grassy surface of the forest floor, and fluffs of cotton softly floated through the air as the fresh morning breeze blew through the cottonwood trees above, giving an almost magical appearance to the quiet cove.
It's silence was only broken by the clear chorusing notes of a group of songbirds, rejoicing in the beginning of a new day...
...until the unmistakable shriek of a metal blade tore through the air and slammed into a nearby oak tree.
Appearing out of the forest just after the wayward dagger, was a teenage girl with dark hair and green eyes, dressed in a tunic and leggings a mix of the colours of the forest surrounding her.
Striding angrily towards her weapon lodged in the tree, she grumbled furiously to herself, her moccasin clad feet scuffing irritated tread marks in the tall grass around her legs.
So focused on retrieving her knife, she didn't notice the phosphorescent shine approaching her in the shape of a flaming dolphin.
The change in air pressure by the glowing dolphin's approach made the girl stiffen, wrenching her weapon from the tree and slashing in a smooth arc behind her within seconds as she spun to face her foe.
The dolphin twirled out of the way with a sharp cry of, "Mind the metal, Aurora!!"
{Narrator: This glowing dolphin just mentioned, is a corralite, which according to the definition from The Arven Sahara Guide to Strange Happenings and Unheard of Events, is the soul of a marine creature, capable of traveling through air currents, so long as the land it's on is below sea level.
This corralite appears to be visiting the forest girl, of whom seems to have the designation of 'Aurora'.}
With a surprised gasp, the knife fell to the ground as Aurora leapt back, clutching a hand to her heart.
"Amery! You oughtn't sneak up on me like that!" she scolded with an apologetic tone.
"what if I'd gotten you through the heart? You'd be naught but a shimmer of energy in the wind!!"
The dolphin, now known as Amery, shook off his unease with a flashing spin in the hair, once again coming closer to Aurora, but this time nuzzling her cheek.
"My apologies," he replied with a smooth cadence, countering his normally outright mischievously cheeky tone.
"I came to check on your wellbeing, seeing as earlier I felt a great deal of rage coming from your direction," he continued.
As he spoke a flash of yellow glimmered around him, and when it disappeared, a teenage boy stood where the dolphin had once floated.
Aurora ducked her face into her hands as a bright flush came to her cheeks.
"Don't do that without telling me first!" she whined, shoving his grinning face away from her irritably.
Amery shoved his fingers through his silvery hair, his green eyes glinting with concern still, despite the smile on his face.
"Why are you so angry, 'Rora?" he asked curiously.
The question seemed to be the catalyst to a volcano of rage.
Aurora's hands clenched and unclenched as her thoughts flashed back to why she'd been angry in the first place.
"You want to know why??" she demanded. "Very well then!"
Amery blinked as a torrent of words began to spill from her lips.
"So, you know I go to school back in the other world right? Of course you do, I tell you everything...then you also know that I keep a sort of account on this website called 'Wattpad'."
Amery nodded, falling softly into the tall grass at his feet as he got more comfortable.
Aurora followed down to sit beside him a second later.
"You said it was one of your favourite things to do, write for people and make them happy because they enjoyed your attempt at literary art."
Amery stated.
Aurora nodded vigorously. "Exactly!! And one book in particular I'd really enjoyed updating...it was called 'Ask Toothless and Hiccup'. Now, before you ask why this is a bad thing, I'll tell you something else.
I had a friend in drama class, to protect her identity I'll call her Polly."
Amery nodded again, fighting a smile at the vicious way she spoke of this mystery girl. He'd never seen her so riled up before.
"Now, Polly, was a good friend of mine. We always teamed up when we had skit assignments, and we hung out after school all the time. Even when school was out for the summer I still hung out with her, and that was when I even let her look at my writing, which by the way, I don't show ANYONE except for you until it's finished.
I even trusted her enough to know my Wattpad password!
Biggest mistake of my life!!" Aurora shouted the last part, her arms flinging into the air.
"You know what she did??" Aurora seethed, "When we were about to start school again, she changed the password of my account when I let her use my iPod, as well as log me out of my email account because she KNOWS I forgot the password!! So now I'm locked out of my account, right? And I go to her and ask her if she knows anything about it, and she has the gall to laugh!! So I start yelling at her in the middle of class, and she starts crYING?!! Like WOMAN, get your act together and tell me my password please! But noooo! She just had to make it complicated, and now guess who has TWO Saturday schools? ME! Even though she's the one that started this weird rivalry with me which I have now figured out started at the beginning of because this stupid playboy, who is barely passable as handsome I might add and asks out anyone that's female, asked me out, which I turned down, and I guess she had a crush on him or something??? I don't even know at this point!"
Aurora had stood up at this point, rage seeming to pour off her as well as a heavy amount of confusion.
"But that's not even the worst part!!"
Aurora growled, her voice the only thing you could hear in the otherwise quiet meadow.
"She's got the actual audacity to start doing things on my account, so now people think I'm commenting and doing things while completely neglecting my readers and also not writing the chapters I promised them!!! You know I never go back on my word, Amery!"
Amery's eyebrows rose a tad more as he soaked in everything his best friend was telling him.
He stood up and put his hands lightly on Aurora's shoulders, stopping her furious pacing.
"First, I understand that what she did was wrong, but to be angry, now's not the time."
Aurora scoffed, glaring at him. "I don't need you to become some Yoda dude right now-" she began, starting to get angry again, getting cut off as Amery's hand went over her mouth.
He shot her his infamous mischievous trouble-making grin, and took his hand away, pleased to see she had calmed enough to listen.
"I'm not saying you should let go of your anger completely, just maybe direct it somewhere else...like, a prank." he suggested cheerfully.
Aurora raised an eyebrow, and appeared thoughtful. "Actually, I hadn't thought of that," she admitted, starting to catch his mood.
"Besides, I did get my password back," she added.
"You didn't beat her up too bad I hope," Amery said, chuckling.
Aurora waved a hand at the idea. "No, nothing like that, not this time at least." she replied. "I told Polly's counsellor, and she enforced the return of my password."
"How devious," Amery deadpanned.
Laughing, Aurora jabbed at his ribs, and he yelped as he jumped away from her evil hands.
"How dare you tickle me?" he said haughtily, a gleaming silver sword materializing in his left hand.
Aurora straightened, her eyes flashing with excitement.
She held out a hand, and with a grin, Amery waved his hand, a sword materializing in hers a second later.
They began circling each other, both critically eyeing each other for a weak spot.
Amery ducked in surprise as Aurora's sword swished about his head by a few inches.
Taking advantage of her over-extension, he swung at her stomach, only to have his blade clash with hers which had curved to meet it.
"You're getting better," Amery observed, already breathless from the excitement.
"But I suppose not as good as you," Aurora replied, smirking.
"Naturally."
Amery said, smiled back innocently, before turning and dashing for the tree line.
"Hey! Get back here you coward! That's cheating!"
Aurora called after him, laughing as she took off after him.
Her only reply was a hearty laugh that echoed through the trees.

A/N
Well, that happened.
I was going to write an authors note about what happened but then my imagination was like 'nope' and took over.
This story that Aurora(me) told Amery, is the true story about what actually happened to me and let me tell you, I have never been so angry in my entire life.
To think I thought she was actually my friend that I shared my stories and other secret things with, all for her to completely turn on me and do this over a crush???
ARE YOU KIDDING ME
I literally don't know what to even say, except I'm so sorry for being absent for so long, and I hope to start writing my books again.
Also, I know I used the name 'Polly', and with a bit of hatred towards the person I called that, but let me assure you it was nothing directed at anyone, it was completely random.
I hope to God none of you guys actually have the name Polly because then I'll feel so bad. Anybody that's actually called Polly, you're cool, I love you.
Now, since I feel so terribly bad about this, I'll share a secret with you guys that's not really a secret, but I just don't tell anyone.
First of all, most of these ideas in this little story are from a book I wrote when I was 13.
But that's not the secret.
Do you like Amery?
WELL HES MINE
Haha, sorry, I'm a bit possessive over him, I'll explain why.
So he's not actually a real person in the sense of flesh and blood.
He's my imaginary friend.
I don't care if you guys call me insane or crazy or a complete nutcase, personally I think he's cool.
He showed up when I was about 7, and I'm not ashamed to say I still have him around, though it's more me remembering him at this point.
I'm pretty sure I'm not crazy though because I know he's not real, and I know my mind made him up, but I still like him so much I 'keep him around' in a sense.
Plus I've got a really clear imagination so...
Anyways, I'm so so sorry guys, and hopefully we'll get into a pattern of updating all my books soon.
See you soon!!
- Aurora
P.S.
The Arven Sahara Guide to Strange Happenings and Unheard of Events is an actual book I wrote, and let me tell you, it is WEIRD.
Haha, please let me know if you'd like to see it.
P.P.S.
THE PICTURE IS ME
