Just a quick warning, this one is long...but interesting. I think. 😏

I think it's pretty close to their real fears.
If it's not their real fears, well, I tried my hardest. Some I have no idea what their real fears are, so I wrote something that would be funny instead.

Okay, I am just postponing your reading... I'll shut up now.

D - I dare the whole team to face their worst fears.

A - Hiccup: Yikes! This one is scary! I wonder what mine is?

Snotlout: Everything! *Snickers*

Astrid: *Punches Snotlout's stomach* Shut up Snotlout!

Fishlegs: *Mumbles* And again with the violence. What are we getting into?

Astrid: It's just a dare! Man, you guys are jellyfish in skirts!

Hiccup: *Quietly* No, it's just kind of scary. It is our worst fears after all..

Snotlout: Ha! See? Hiccup is afraid of everything!

Astrid: *Punches Snotlout again* Well, you shouldn't be talking! I mean, we all know what your worst fear is!

Snotlout: Oh? And what's that?

Astrid: Um, duh! Your face!

Hiccup: *Cuts in* Okay guys, no need to fight. Let's just get this over with. I suggest we go one at a time, while the rest think up what that person is most afraid of, and then put them through that situation. Then the next person will go.

Astrid: Hah! That's the spirit Hiccup! Okay, everybody! You heard Hiccup! Who's going first?

Ruffnut: I volunteer Tuffnut!

Tuffnut: What? Oh okay, but we all know you will fail, because Tuffnut the great is fearless!

Ruffnut: You're an idiot.

Astrid: Right! Everybody gather except for Tuffnut. We need to figure out what Tuffnut's afraid of.

Tuffnut: That's easy. it's spiders.

Astrid: *Starts grinning evilly* Well then, I know a few spider infested caves...Snotlout! Ruffnut! Grab Tuffnut and follow me!

Ten minutes later...

Tuffnut: sooo, uh, what's going on guys? *Gasps* Are we going on a picnic? I looovvvee picnics! Um, what are they exactly?

Astrid: Ha! We have arrived! Please drop Tuffnut, down the hole! hehehe.

(Drops Tuffnut down the hole, which leads to a spider infested cave below. There is silence for a minute until a high, girlish scream comes out of the hole.)

Snotlout: Aaaahhh! There's a girl down there! We have to save her!

Astrid: *Punches Snotlout* Ugh, you Muttonhead! There's no girl! That's Tuffnut! *Yells down the hole* Tuffnut! You can't come out until you are holding a spider in your hand as a pet!

Three hours later...

Astrid: Hurry up Tuffnut! We've been here for hours!

Tuffnut: *Yells up* I don't wanna! They're smiling at me!

Astrid: I swear to Odin Tuffnut, if you don't grab a spider right now, I am going to come down there, and-

Tuffnut: -I got one! Awww look, it likes me- Oowwwww! It bit me!

Get it off, get it off, get it OFF!!!

Astrid: *Facepalms* Well, he may have faced his fear, but he sure didn't overcome it...

Hiccup: Um, Astrid? I think we should take Tuffnut out now...I can hear him hyperventilating.

Astrid: Fine! Whatever.

Five minutes later...

Tuffnut: I need Comfort! Where is Macey!?!? *Runs off towards his house*

Astrid: *Stares after Tuffnut for a while, then slowly turns towards the rest of the gang. They all step back uncomfortably* Sooo, who's next?

Snotlout: *Gets shoved to the front*

Astrid: Snotlout huh? Hehehe...

Snotlout: What? No! they pushed me! I didn't volunteer!

Astrid: *Ignores Snotlout and turns to Hiccup to Whisper the plan quietly*

Hiccup: Are you sure about this Astrid? It's kind of mean.

Astrid: Never been more sure Hiccup! This is a dare, and we will complete it!

Hiccup: Okay, well, I'll go spread the news, if you know what I mean.

Twenty minutes later...

Snotlout: * Walking through the village when he sees a commotion up ahead, so he goes to it* What's going on?

Random villager: There he is! Snotlout! Bring him to the front!

Snotlout: Huh? what's going on? *gets shoved up on stage*

Random villagers: Yeah! the great Snotlout! He is the best!

Snotlout: *Starts grinning proudly* Yes! I am great! Finally, somebody notices!

Random villager: Snotlout! Please step onto the platform on the middle of the stage to receive your medal!

Snotlout: Why thank you, thank you.

(Voice in the distance): Now! pull the rope!

(Snotlout gets yanked by his feet and starts hanging upside down while getting pelted with yaknog and eggs, as he gets a wedgie. Then chicken feathers get thrown on him and they cover his whole body)

Random villagers: *Start laughing and pointing* Look how uncool Snotlout is! The medal hated him so bad, it covered him in stuff! He is way to uncool to get a medal! Get him off the stage!

Snotlout: *Red with embarrassment* No! I am cool! You are the uncool ones! Who wins the thawfest games every year, huh? I do! Let me down! Oh, when I figure out who did this, I am going to-

Random villagers: Get off the stage! Look how stupid he is, trying to make himself look cool when he clearly isn't.

Hiccup: Astrid? Uh, I think we can tell then to stop now, look how embarrassed Snotlout is!

Snotlout: *Hangs there in defeat, getting redder by the second*

Astrid: Fine. *Walks up to the stage* Okay! You can all stop now! Thank you for helping us complete part of the dare! Your free weapons are just over there!

(Everyone walks away and Astrid cuts Snotlout down.)

Astrid: Hah! I knew it! Snotlout's worst fear is getting humiliated.

Snotlout: You guys did this? Fine! whatever. *Storms off*

Hiccup: It was just a dare Snotlout! Um, we may have gone too far.

Astrid: Nonsense! He just needs time to cool off. Who's next? No one? Really!? Fine. You, Fishlegs.

Fishlegs: Whaaaa? Oh no, I don't want to! Look at what happened to Tuffnut and Snotlout! I quit. Nope! Not doing it!

Astrid: We have to finish the dare! Stop making me feel worse than I already do and get it over with!

Fishlegs: Okay, then let's hurry and do this.

(Astrid and Hiccup wait until Fishlegs is sleeping that night, then bring him to Dragon Island, where they put him on the ground with Meatlug and wait for him to wake up)

Next morning...

Fishlegs: *Wakes up, then screams*

Astrid: *Laughing in the bush while she watches, then says,* Hiccup! Call Meatlug away now, so he is alone.

Hiccup: *Whistles, and Meatlug flies away* Oh dear, I feel so bad about this.

Astrid: Yes, so do I, but we will say sorry when the dare is over, and it almost is...Just about ten more minutes.

Fishlegs: *Talks to himself* Oh Thor, oh Thor! I'm alone, on Dragon Island, without Meatlug, and there are wild Dragons, Everywhere! I'm dead, yes that's it. I'm going to die!!! *Starts running in circles and screaming*

Hiccup: How long now? Fishlegs is really freaking out!

Astrid: A couple seconds...and, done! You can get him now Hiccup!

Hiccup: Thank Thor! *Brings Fishlegs home, and Fishlegs falls asleep as soon as he gets home*

Astrid: Okay! Just Ruffnut, you, and me left Hiccup. Let's go get Ruffnut!

About half an hour later...

Ruffnut: So, what did you want to tell me?

Astrid: Ruffnut? We are sorry to inform you-

Hiccup: -that Tuffnut has left forever on Barf and Belch.

Astrid: Yup! He's never coming back!

Ruffnut: *Silent for a minute, then runs into the house and comes back out, with her stuff, actually crying* Don't look for me. I am going to my dark to cry. I have no reason to stay here. Goodbye. *Starts walking away*

Hiccup: *Gulps* Okay, that's it. I quit. I can't do this anymore. It's too mean. Ruffnut! It was just the dare! Tuffnut did not leave! He's at the great hall with Barf and Belch!!!

Ruffnut: *Turns back around and punches Hiccup on the arm* Pffffhh! I knew that! I was just, a...whatever! I, am going to the great hall to see Barf. Not Tuffnut, because I don't care if my idiotic brother is there. Yeah. So there. Goodbye, again. *Walks off*

Astrid: Well, that was interesting. *Turns to Hiccup* Okay Hiccup. My turn!

Hiccup: *Rapidly shakes his head no* Oh no. This is awful. I feel really bad for doing this to the other teens, I am not doing it. Not to you.

Astrid: Hiccup. I appreciate you caring, but if we stop now, then scaring the others like that will have been for nothing.

Hiccup: I don't know...what if you get hurt or something?

Astrid: Then I am sure you will help me. Beside, I am a warrior, and I can deal with it.

Hiccup: Um, okay. Fine. But if it starts to get the least bit upsetting, I am stopping the dare right then and there.

Astrid: Um, Hiccup, it's my worst fear, it's going to be upsetting.

Hiccup: No! Not listening! If you get upset, I'm stopping. Got it?

Astrid: *Sighs* Oh, fine. I'll just go do something else so I forget that you are doing the dare on me next.

Hiccup: Right. I'll see you later. bye!

Three hours later...

Hiccup: *Talking to Toothless* Okay bud, you know what to do? Good, I'll go and get Alvin.

(A/N In the last episode of defenders of Berk, Alvin becomes an ally with Berk. That's why Hiccup is going to get Alvin.)

*Hiccup gets Stormfly to pretend to be dead while he sprays berry juice on her to look like blood. Then he sneaks Astrid's axe and gives it to Alvin, so it looks like Alvin has gone bad again. Then he makes it look like he is fighting Alvin with Toothless, who is growling, and Alvin is winning, beforehand making sure that Astrid will come this way*

Astrid: *Is in her house, looking for her axe, when she hears Toothless growling. So she goes to see what is going on* Hiccup? Toothless? Where are you?

*Astrid turns a corner, and sees Stormfly on the ground, looking dead, so she runs forward* Stormfly? No! What happened? Oh no, oh no! Stormfly, get up! Please! OH...No...

*Looks over and sees Alvin, leaning over Hiccup, with a huge sword.*

*Growls angrily and shouts* Not on my watch Alvin!

*She picks up an axe and runs towards Alvin, but to her surprise, Alvin stops attacking Hiccup, and starts laughing*

Um, Hiccup! What is going on here?!?! What happened to Stormfly!!!!???

Hiccup: *Brushes dirt off his clothes, and whistles. Stormfly jumps up, and runs over to Astrid*

Astrid: Stormfly! I'm so glad you're okay! I was so worried!! *Stormfly licks Astrid's face*

Hiccup: This was the dare Astrid. I think it worked.

Astrid: Are you kidding me? I almost had a heart attack!! *Punches Hiccups arm* Well, I must admit you did a good job.

Hiccup: Thank you. Do you feel okay? Did I go too far?

Astrid: Nope! I'm fine! It was definitely my worst fear. But now, it is your turn. Just letting you know, it will be slightly easier for me to do the dare on you because you scared me so bad. Hehehe...

Hiccup: Oh dear. Oh yeah! *Turns to Alvin* Thanks for helping me Alvin.

Alvin: Your quite welcome. I gotta go now though. I have to help Gobber in the forge.

Hiccup: Kay, Bye! *Turns back to Astrid* I'll see you later Astrid. You probably need to think of what my worst fear is. I mean, I don't think I know it myself! *Waves and walks away*

Astrid: *Waves back, then chuckles to herself* I think I know what your worst fear is Hiccup. Time to turn the tables. This will be considered revenge for scaring me soooo badly. Hehe...

Three days later.....

(Meanwhile, as the time passes, Hiccup forgets about the dare)

Astrid: *Talking to Snotlout, because Snotlout agreed to help scare Hiccup to pay him back because Hiccup helped embarrass him*

Right, I got it all set. You, Snotlout, will run to Hiccup and tell the story right after I get the others to leave on the boat. And you know what happens after that.

Snotlout: Uh huh! Hurry up! I wanna see Hiccups face when this happens!

Astrid: Okay, actually, they all left just a few minutes ago, so you can go do it now. Just don't be too mean about it.

Snotlout: *Runs off laughing with glee*

Astrid: *To herself* Oh boy, I don't think he heard the last part. oh well, to the beach!

Astrid's plan.

Pretends Stoick, Gobber, Toothless, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, and herself, all went on a boat ride and the boat sank with everybody in it, and Astrid floats ashore on a piece of wood that she threw in the water earlier to make it look like a shipwreck, and she is the only one that make it to shore, but she pretends that she is dead on the beach.

In reality, all of the said people and dragon are just hiding in the great hall, and Astrid just walked down to the beach, got herself wet, and layed down on the sand.

Hiccup: *After hearing what Snotlout said, doesn't believe him, so he runs down to the beach to make sure Snotlout is lying, but when he gets there, it looks like he is telling the truth, because he sees Astrid on the beach, and wood in the water*

Hiccup: *Runs forward, drops to his knees beside Astrid, and shakes her* Astrid!! Wake up! Please wake up! No, no...You need to wake up Astrid. You can't be dead. Please! *Starts crying and pushes the hair out of her face* Come on, wake up!

Astrid: Feels super guilty for what she is doing, so she quickly sits up and yells* I'm not dead! I'm okay!

Hiccup: *Hugs her tightly* Oh thank Thor!

Astrid: I'm so sorry Hiccup. It was the dare, no one is hurt, there was no boat crash. Everybody else is in the great hall. Snotlout helped me because he was mad at you for embarrassing him.

Hiccup: *Stares at Astrid for a second, then quickly leans forward and kisses her on the lips* It's fine. You are okay and that's all that matters.

(Both of them suddenly realize what Hiccup just did and they get beet red.)

Hiccup: So, um...uhhh...w-what do you want to do now? Want to go dragon racing?

Astrid: *Loses her awkwardness, Jumps up and yells* Yes! We did it! The dare is done! Haha! I told you Hiccup, I never lose a dare!

Hiccup: *Laughs* Out of all this, that's what you got out of it?

Astrid: *Grins* Yup! Come on! Let's go dragon racing!

Oh man! That was hard to write.

I felt so bad for some of them.

But, I think their reactions are pretty realistic. I hope so, because I am not very good at writing emotions.
