Question 20: Nintendo's Epic Fail?
From @Crazymetroid101
To Krystal: What is it like to have a team again? And that I don't mind you being part of the team. The only bad thing is that you were practically thrown in Adventures of Nintendo's sake.
Krystal: "To be a part of Star Fox makes me happy beyond words! Sure, the life of a mercenary can be dangerous and challenging, but Fox and the others gave me a place to call home."
"My home planet, Cerinia, along with my family, friends, and entire way of life, was destroyed. This left me with nothing, as I desperately searched the outskirts of Lylat for answers. That brought me to Sauria, and that's how I met Fox and became part of the Star Fox team. CrazyMetroid101 , I'm glad you think I am valuable to the team and support my decision to be a part of it."
"As for my role in the events taking place in Star Fox Adventures, well, I guess I'll have @TheFoxMcCloud explain that..."
TheFoxMcCloud: "Thanks, Krystal, it's always nice to hear back from you."
Krystal: *Blushes* "You're welcome, writer."
TheFoxMcCloud: "So if anyone hasn't seen one of my older posts, Star Fox Adventures was originally created to be an N64 title, called Dinosaur Planet. This game was the story of two sisters, Krystal and Saber. However, since the game was to be released so close to the release of the GameCube, the game was delayed and updated to work for the new system. Somehow it was 'last minute' changed to a Star Fox title, leaving the character Krystal with little to no background information. This slight mistake was not fixed by Nintendo, instead they just went with it and moved on."
"So poor Krystal here has really no backstory. It was my hope to fix this by writing a pre-Star Fox fanfic about Krystal and her home planet, Cerinia and its destruction, but I've been so busy and will continue to be busy this summer and won't be able to begin this project anytime soon. Things will only get worse once I start my Master's degree this fall... But it is my dream to turn this story idea into a reality, as I have done with Star Fox: Eclipse. It will happen, I promise, but it just may take some time."
Krystal: "Thank you for the explanation, and I'm flattered you would consider writing a novel about me."
TheFoxMcCloud: "Sure thing! I love writing about you, and I'm excited to give you the background story you deserve. TheFoxMcCloud here, filling in Nintendo's Star Fox story gaps one Fanfic at a time..."
