Alright Fox, Krystal.

I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU to tell the others you're breaking up. If you do it... you get hugs.

Fox McCloud: "Alright guys, you're probably wondering why I had you both meet with us today" *standing in the control room of the Great Fox beside Krystal, addressing Slippy and Falco*

Krystal: "We have decided that we are splitting up..." *does her best to look convincing, appearing to look devastated* "Since we both belong to Star Fox, and risk our lives for our service on a daily basis, we don't want to let our personal feelings get in the way."

Fox McCloud: *keeping up the act, sadly sharing a glance with Krystal before returning his gaze to Falco and Slippy* "Krystal's right. We can't let each other get in the way of doing our duty. What if we become biased toward each other and fail a mission because we care more about each other than the mission we are assigned?"

Krystal: "We just wanted to take the time to let you both know, to avoid and awkward incidents and make you aware of what was going on."

Slippy Toad: *jaw dropped and eyes bulging out of his head even more than usual* "What? But... You two are perfect for each other?!"

Falco Lombardi: *eyes closed, yawning* "Whatever... This is just some person's funny attempt at a dare for you two, right? I know how the game works; just the other day I was dared to pour hot soup on Slippy, so this is probably just something similar..." *not even fazed*

Fox McCloud: *eyes narrowed* "Dang it, you got us. Sorry Krystal, we tried to make it sound convincing."

Krystal: "We did do a pretty good job, didn't we?"

Slippy Toad: "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME AGAINNNNN!!??"
