~At the hospital~

Adrien: WHERE IS SHE? MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG?? MY BEST FRIEND, LOVER AND SOULMATE?

Nurse: Room 205

Adrien: *bursts inside the room* where is she???

Nino: *silently points to the bed in the middle of the room*

Alya: *crying (eye drops)* You're here

Adrien: Of course I am *sits on the bed near Marinette*

Adrien stares at the still face of Marinette infront of him. Her breathing slowed and her eyes closed. Bandages wrapped around her arms and head. The monitor next to her beeped steadily.

Adrien: Mari, please, if you can hear me... please wake up. *starts tearing up* please I can't go on without you and I don't know how long you'll stay like this.

Nino: *whispers to Alya* dude, this is getting really emotional

Alya: I know man... it's intense

Adrien:  *holds her hand* please

Suddenly, Marinette's eyes flutter open. She stares up at him sleepily.

Adrien: You're awake! Thank goodness! Marinette! Oh my goodness... I don't know.... Oh man...

Marinette: Huh?

Adrien: How are you feeling?

Marinette: Who... who at you? *trying so hard not to break character *

Nino: ...bro

Adrien: *pauses and starts laughing in tears* N-No way!!!

Marinette: *starts crying* I'm so sorry! I made you so worried about me.. I feel so bad..

Adrien: *kisses her forehead* Don't be, bugaboo. This just shows I need to try harder on the next prank

Alya and Nino: *in a flood of tears*
