Here are my reasons ( I have said these to some people before..at least partially):

After watching the both films I was sad for those two. Elsa found out that love thaws and the movie was about sisters but she should have someone other than her sister too to teach her things about life. I mean Anna has Kristoff and Elsa cannot hang with them all the time?

And Jack. He was years without no one seeing him. When he died he had a close bond with his sister and now when he knows that he can’t see his family ever again it might hit him. He has a big heart waiting to be given to someone, he loved his sister and now he is kinda awkward with ladies (Toothiana). He needs someone to be friends with, mess around and not to literally jump to his neck immediately.

Elsa doesn’t have a friend, Jack doesn’t have a friend. Ringing the bell? Then some more stuff!!

Jack cares about people, he really does. Elsa does it too, she was so ready to sacrifice herself while protecting Anna and people in Arendelle, she didn't let herself to be happy. These two people are healing after losing it all. Jack realized that he lost his family and memory when he saved someone. Despite that he is the creator of fun, cheering people up even though he was lonely and scared. He was afraid of whom he was and Elsa of whom she is.

I don't think Jack as the reason of why Elsa would be suddenly secure and confident, nope. I still see the sisterly acts as reason BUT when Elsa has accepted herself she might find time for falling in love. Who else would suit better than Jack? No one.

Why Jack? Well he would be fascinated by the personality of the Queen of Ice. She is serious but she has a mischievous and playful side. I can see Jack laughing with her and having fun. They could give each other some cunning jokes that they only know. At first Jack would be playing around with her, for his own amusement and Elsa get pissed. Then Elsa would show her fierce side and probably laughing after, leaving Jack shocked from the turn of events. I bet Jack would like to get to know her, he is curious personality and Elsa would secretly watch his tricks and laugh in her inside, not showing it to him. They would start with friendship that turns into love.

Also their personalities would mix well. I can see them playing together and falling in love slowly without realizing themselves. Of course they are cute looking, they can do similar stuff etc but for me the important reason is their pasts and how it affected them as persons. They could find their soulmates in each other, share their feelings and comfort each other. Jack could give his caring and loving side to her, I mean.. he adored his sister so he would be really nice to Elsa who is strict and not so used to getting attention and cuddles.

And the argument about their ages? Well, Jack is funny but really caring. He is the perfect big brother that acts like adult in situations when he is needed to. He calmed down his sister and saved her even though he was really scared. Elsa is a strict person but she is also playful. I mean.. ADULTS CAN BE FUNNY! Some of you think me as 13 to 15 year old…. Oh man are you wrong *grins*. Ahem.. but back to reasons. Jack has been the Spirit of Winter for over 300 years so he has seen the world changing-> lots more experience than Elsa. Besides age is only numbers and Jelsa is mostly AU. I always alternate the ages, usually at least. But for real I see Jack kinda mature in the movie at some points.

For me Jelsa is the perfect pairing. Their personalities matters a lot to me.

You can ship whoever you want and I don’t like the shipping wars. These are my reasons : ).
