Um.. Yes, yes I would. I've done it before actually.
When I was forty-ish.. I dyed my hair brunette and got it straightened and that actually was really nice but I grew out of it. Then, when I was dating Saracen I got my blonde back but got electric blue highlights which looked AWESOME.
Then, when I dated Frightening I had a dixie blond cut with brunette streaks.

And so, after that, I decided to go blonde and curly again. The original Tanith way ;)
But yeah, if I did do that again I might go for a brunette cut with purple highlights xD
