A DAY AFTER THE INCIDENT

Shard (Crystal's brother, for TeamMelodies readers): Guys, where's Cream?
Shadow: Probably moping around. She's really pis...
Shard: (Cutting him off) Ok, ok. I get your point. Anyone got any ideas for her whereabouts?
Knuckles: Nope. Sorry... Not just for not knowing where she is... For everything we did.
Shard: It's fine. I can't hold this against you, I can tell that you really feel bad. Anyway, I'm gonna look for her again. (He walks out.)
Nicole: Man, we screwed up...
Knuckles: Yeah, but he knows we feel bad. I just hope Cream realises that too...

LATER ON
(Everyone is in groups, talking about random things. Shard is sat alone, worrying. Nicole and Knuckles are just talking normally, trying not to worry about Shard.)

Nicole: So, what should we do?
Knuckles: What do you mean?
Nicole: Well we can't just sit here all day, bored and worried.
Knuckles: Well, then what?
Nicole: Why do you think I asked you?
Knuckles: Good point.
Nicole: *Sigh*
Knuckles: What?
Nicole: I'm bored.
Knuckles: Me too. But I have no ideas. I'm dumb.
Nicole: You're not dumb.
Knuckles: Yeah, I am. I'm just dumb and useless.
Nicole: Knuckles, not this again. You aren't dumb. You aren't useless. Think back to your old adventures. What did you do.
Knuckles: Well... I defended the Master Emerald... That's it.
Nicole: You defended it with your life. Knuckles, you may not be the fastest, or the most intelligent, but you don't give up! You do what you feel is right with your life! Anything you don't do right, or anything bad you do, you regret it, and you try and make up for it. That's what I see in you.
Knuckles: Re... Really?
Nicole: Yeah...
*Suddenly, Shard yells for everyone to come in to the room he and Cream had to share.*
Shard: Look!
*He's holding a note which reads:
Hello, this is the last time you'll see me. If you couldn't tell, this is Cream. And I've left, with Cheese and Chocola. Forever. Don't look for me, it isn't worth it.
Now, I will miss some of you. All the authors I've met are nice, and of course there's... Shard... I'm technically going to miss all of you, but after last night, I feel that none of you really care about me. So goodbye, all of you. I will never see you again.
