I'm currently meditating, trying to see what the near future holds, what I see terrifies me.

I get out of my meditating state and run to the living room, lapis, Alex, Shawn and Zoey stand up.

Me: Alex sound the alarm, Code Z!

Alex looks terrified.

Alex: on it! *runs outside*

Alarms start blaring throughout beach city and little homeworld.

Alarm announcement: Attention gems and humans of beach city and little homeworld, this is not a drill, Emergency Code Zombie apocalypse is in affect, I repeat, Emergency Code Zombie apocalypse is in affect!

Me: lapis, kids, follow me, quickly!

We run outside, I pull out my communicator, contacting momma blue, mommy yellow, grandma white, auntie pink, Zavala, ikora and Cayde.

Blue: yes little ligh- *gets cut off by an explosion*

Yellow: Son what was that!?!

White, Zavala, ikora and Cayde: yeah!?!

Me: Emergency Code Zombie apocalypse, I repeat, Emergency Code zombie apocalypse, we need help evacuating beach city and little homeworld now!

All their faces pale.

Blue, yellow, white, vanguard: We're on our way! *call ends*

The gems, Steven, fireteam void, and Alex run over to me.

Steven: Zach, what is happening!?!

Me: the end of the god damn world, the Dead now roam the earth, I've already contacted the diamonds and the vanguard, they're on the way.

I  look to nova and fireteam void.

Me: nova and fireteam void, split into two groups, lead the humans and gems of beach city and little homeworld to the beach, now!

They nod.

Small time jump

Fireteam void and nova arrive back on the beach, the gems and humans of beach city and little homeworld following behind.

I look in the sky and see both homeworld and guardian cruisers in orbit, and Evac shuttles about to land.

Me: everyone, into the Evac shuttles, quickly!

The gems and humans of beach city and little homeworld quickly start boarding the Evac shuttles.

As the last of the gems and humans board the Evac shuttles, a hoard of Zombies reach the beach.

I pull out my origin story auto rifle and start shooting at the undead bastards, nova, Alex and fireteam void do the same.

Zavala, ikora and Cayde arrive in a Evac shuttle to pick us up.

Cayde: everybody in, now!

We all board the Evac shuttle.

Me: Go Go Go!

The shuttle door closes and we take off into orbit.

I take deep breaths.

My diamond family members appear on a holo screen.

Blue: little light, is everyone safe?

Me: I believe so, have any other Evac shuttles left the atmosphere?

White: From what I see, yes.

Me: good, signal the pilot's of those Evac shuttles and tell them to join up with us, then we'll hyperspace to homeworld.

They nod.

We land in the hanger of the light of hope, my personal cruiser with a crew.

Timeskip

Lapis, Shawn, Zoey, Steven, nova, Alex, the Gems, and myself enter the bridge, and look out at the stars.

Zoey: dad, what are we going to do?

I look my daughter then back out to the stars.

Me: I don't know Zoey, I don't know.
