Third person POV
Zach was sitting on the beach looking out at the ocean watching the sunset.

Zach's POV
'I really want to tell lapis how I feel, but what if she turns me down...' I thought and sighed.

"Hey Zach, you ok?" A voice behind me asked.

I turned my head around and saw that it was lapis.

"Y-yeah lapis, I'm ok." I stuttered.

Lapis then proceeded to sit next to me. A few minutes passed before lapis spoke up.

"Hey Zach, can I tell you something?" Lapis asked.

"Sure, anything." I answered.

"Zach, when we first met, I noticed that there was something different about you, the way you used your powers to protect people, how kind, caring, and handsome you are, it ignited something in me, and that spark only grew as we got to know each other more, I also noticed how you don't take shit from anybody, and three months ago, I felt like I was always safe around you, that I could be myself, and make jokes with you, I guess what I am trying to say is, Zach I am in love with you." Lapis said.

I was shocked, but I shook the shock off and took lapis's hands.

"Lapis, i feel the same exact way towards you, I feel like you are the only person who truly understands me, I'm so happy that you feel the same way about me." I told her.

I then cupped lapis's cheek and started to lean in and close my eyes.

Lapis's POV
'Zach is going to kiss me!' I happily thought.

Third person POV
Zach and lapis were kissing for 10 minutes straight before they finally pulled away.

"That was amazing." Zach said.

"Yeah it was." Lapis responded.

"So does this mean we are a couple now?" Lapis asked.

"Only if you are ok with it." Zach said.

"I am ok with it." Lapis answered.

Zach and lapis watched the sunset together.
