Me: nova, must you go now, we all need to be here for Steven.

Nova: I know Zach, but I need to clear my head, I'll be back in two days.

Me: *sighs* fine, see ya in two days.

Two days later

Me, Steven, and the rest of fireteam Nova were relaxing on the beach when a portal opens up and nova comings flying through.

Me: nova!

I look to the portal and a girl with black hair and a black sword runs through the portal charging at nova, and is about to swing.

I activate my sentinel shield and use my diamond powers to get infront of the figure and block her swing.

Me: who are you, and why are you attacking my friend nova?!?!

Girl: because I feel like it. *laughs evily*

I push her back with my sentinel shield, summon my dawnblade, and swing at her, my body glowing a bright red diamond aura.

The girl blocks my swing and unsummons her sword.

Girl: so, the rumors I heard in my dimension are true, you're the light wielding guardian son of red diamond.

Me: yeah, I am, why? *still on the defensive*

The girl lowers her hood.

Vortex: my name is vortex, and I'm the daughter of black diamond.

Me: so, there are other diamond hybrids besides me, nova, Steven, and the rest of fireteam Nova. *i unsummon my shield and sword.*

Vortex: yeah there is. *walks over to nova and extends her hand out to help him up*

Nova:*takes her hand and is pulled up* I see you still pack a damn punch and haven't lost your fighting spirit, old friend.

Vortex: and I can tell you've gotten better at fighting and thinking on your feet old friend, with the skip grenade off the wall trick.

Me: wait, you two know each other?

Nova: yeah, back when I first arrived on homeworld, a group of quartz guards spotted me and attacked, I would've lost if not for vortex.

Vortex: me and him stuck together after that, and then he got a call from you requesting backup and support while jedrus was en route with an evac shuttle, while he went to help, I went through a portal I summoned.

Nova: And when arrived at my dimension I was taking my two day trip to, I ran into vortex, and we talked for awhile and I brought her up to speed, and told her my idea for her entrance/introduction.

Nova snapped his fingers and a portal behind him and vortex appeared.

Nova: we're going to go and explore, see ya!

Nova and vortex go to the portal and it closes.
