Third person POV

"You set me free!" Lapis spoke.

The gems rush over behind Steven.

Pearl speaks up.

"Does anyone else hear that?" Pearl asked.

Suddenly, something impacts the beach.

The sand settles down, revealing Zach.

My POV

I'm breathing heavily, serious cuts and bruises cover my body.

I look up at my enemy, James, and I see him charging a power blast, but he's looking at Lapis.

James fires his power blast.

Using what strength I have left, I run over to lapis, jump and push her out of the way.

"No!" I yell while I push lapis out of the way, and channel light into her, healing her gem.

I end up taking the full force of James power blast.

"Zach!" My brother, Steven yells.

I go flying backwards, sliding across the sand, unconscious.

Lapis's POV

He saved me from that blast, he didn't know me, yet he pushed me out of the way.

I feel my gem heal, my eyes return to normal and my wings appear.

"Steven, go to Zach and protect him." I told him.

He nods.

I fly up and level myself with the bastard who hurt Zach.

A glowing purple shield and a flaming sword appear in my hands.

I dash and slice the bastard who hurt Zach vertically in half.

I fly over to Steven and Zach, I land.

I walk up next to Zach and get on my knees.

"I know what Zach got hit by, that blast made it so he'll only wake up if his true love kisses him." I told them.

They look at me, suprised.

I look to Steven and nod.

Steven nods back.

I lean in and kiss Zach on the lips.

I slowly pull back.

My POV

I open my eyes.

I sit up, groaning.

I'm about to ask what happened, but I quickly notice lapis infront of me.

"Lapis, are you okay!" I ask her, worried.

"I'm okay, that blast that hit you made it so you'll only wake up if you're kissed by your true love, I kissed you on the lips, and you woke up." She told me.
