This will be taking place during homeworld days, but Steven and Connie are trying to escape yellow, blue, and white, blue, yellow and white went to use their aura attacks on Steven and Connie, but 8 legendary individuals interfere.

Steven's POV
Me and Connie are currently running towards my mother's leg ship.

"You aren't going anywhere pink." White said while connecting her torso ship to my mother's leg ship.

White moved both ships over to blue and yellow.

"Steven, what do we do!" Connie yelled.

"I don't know Connie!" I replied.

I see the diamonds fire their aura attacks.

"AHHHH!" me and Connie yelled.

We waited for the pain to happen, but it never did.

Me and Connie opened our eyes and a purple bubble was around us with someone in the middle with their arms out.

10 minutes earlier

Zach's POV
Me and my friends, which are the rest of my fireteam, fireteam Nova, were going from homeworld rooftop to homeworld rooftop when we saw the diamonds chasing after two human children, one male, and one female, the male child was holding what looked like gems.

"Guys, take a look at this!" I told the others.
The others looked over where I was looking and saw the same thing I was seeing.

"We need to help those kids guys!" Ethan said.

"Yeah we do Ethan." I said.

"fireteam nova, charge!" We all yelled.

While we were charging to help those kids, I got a hold of two old guardian friends that we saved here on homeworld.

"Yes Zach?" Jedrus-1 and Nova Quartz said through the comms.

"Jedrus, Nova, we need an assist on our location right now, jedrus, bring a evacuation shuttle, Nova, be ready for a diamond fight." I replied.

"Got it Zach." They answered.

*Back to the present*

Nova Quartz's POV

The diamonds attack seized, but I still held my ward of dawn up just in case.

"What the heck!?!?!" Yellow diamond yelled.

"Who are you mister?" The male child behind me asked.

"My name is Nova Quartz, and I'm a guardian like no other, I'm also a half-human half-gem/diamond hybrid, my diamond gem is a red diamond." I told the male child.

"I'm Steven, and this is Connie." Steven replied.

"Nice to meet you Steven and Connie." I said.

"Hey Steven, Connie, look over at the diamonds and don't stop looking at them." I said grinning.

"Why?" They both asked in unison.

As they asked that, four missles hit the diamonds, one hitting blue, one hitting yellow, two hitting whites ship, send them back a bit.

I dropped my ward of dawn as Zach, Ethan, Justin, raider, husky, and aidan ran up behind me, with their guns ready.

Nice job saving these kids Nova." Zach said.

"Thanks, and their names are Steven and Connie, the boy is Steven, the girl is Connie." I replied.

"Uhh Nova, who are these people?" Steven asked me.

"These people are a group I am allies with, their group is called 'Fireteam Nova', they are diamond hybrids like me, though, we lost pink during the gem war and still haven't found her." I answered Steven.

"Are you talking about pink diamond?" Steven asked.

"Yeah why?" I said.

"Because she is my mom, she gave up her physical form for me to live, so I'm a hybrid like the rest of you." Steven told me.

"Nova, the diamonds getting back up!" Ethan yelled.

I looked over at the diamonds, and sure enough, they were getting back up.

I put two fingers up to my helmet.

"Jedrus, are you almost here?" I asked through the comms.

"I'm almost there, ETA 10 minutes." Jedrus answered.

"Justin, husky, aidan, stay with Steven and Connie." I ordered them.

They looked at me and nodded.

"Zach, raider, you two are with me, we must keep must keep the diamonds away from Steven and Connie." I told them.

"Got it nova." Zach replied.

The diamonds (including white) activated their auras.

I enlarged myself to white's height, Zach and raider enlarged themselves to yellow and blues height.

I activated my diamond aura, which is red, zach's diamond aura is purple, and raider's diamond aura is green.

The diamonds saw this and they summoned their weapons, white's weapon is a staff, blue's weapon is a scythe, yellow's weapon is a sword.

Me and Zach summoned the dawnblade and sentinel shield, while raider summoned the arcstrider.

"Guardians attack!!!" I yelled.

Me, Zach and raider charged towards the diamonds while they did the same.

Me and white clashed and are in a stalemate currently.

"We meet again Nova Quartz." White told me.

"I'm glad that it was worth the wait." I told her as I started to slowly push her back.

I heard a ship come in behind me, and i knew that it was jedrus, I got on the comms.

"Jedrus, get Steven, connie and the crystal gems in the evac shuttle and get them out of here, and if if you see yellow and blues hand ships and they look like they were repaired with stuff from earth, do not attack, it's bismuth, lapis and peridot, I'll contact them and tell them to escort you, Steven, Connie, and the crystal gems back to earth." I told jedrus.

"Got it nova." Jedrus answered through the comms.

I mentally tell my helmet to get in contact with yellow and blues hand ships, a few moments later, both ships answer.

"This is bismuth, lapis and peridot of the crystal gems, who is this?" They asked.

"Bismuth, glad to hear that you're still alive and kicking, old friend." I answered.

"Nova, is it really you?" Bismuth asked.

"Yeah, it's really me bismuth, now listen, me, Zach and raider are currently fighting the diamonds, don't worry old friend, we enlarged ourselves to their height, jedrus is currently getting Steven, Connie and the rest of the crystal gems into an evac shuttle, the gems are currently inside their gems healing, I need you three to escort their evac shuttle back to earth." I told them.

"But nova, what about you and the others?" Bismuth asked me.

"Don't worry about us old friend, we'll get in our ships and catch up with you after we finish these diamonds and poof them." Zach told bismuth through the comms.

"*sighs* you all better make it out of there." Bismuth responds.

"We will old friend, don't worry." I told her.

Timeskip to after the diamonds are poofed and nova, and the rest of fireteam Nova are back on earth with the others.

Nova's POV

As I landed my ship and got out, I was grabbed into a bear hug by bismuth.

"It's really nice to see you again, old friend, you and the others really gave those uppercrusts a beat-down." Said bismuth.

"Yeah we did, rainbow." I said.

Bismuth laughs.

"You're still calling me that, even after all this time?" She asked.

"Bud, I'm always gonna call you rainbow." I answered.
