(Oki, so I was originally gonna write another dare chapter, but it felt odd to make them jump into another dare after what happened last chapter. So, I decided to make this a chapter, just to show how everyone is doing and reacting to that event. I promise next chapter will be a dare/ask, just bare with me.)

Cass: Were here!

Ember: What took you guys so long?

Cass: oh I don't know... maybe the fact THAT THIS HOSPITAL IS SEVEN MILES AWAY, AND NEITHER ME, ELI, OR WILLOW CAN DRIVE!

Ember: *chuckles nervously* sorry about that.

Willow: So how is he?

Eclipse: They haven't told us anything yet.

Eli: I-Is he gonna be okay?

Sophie: Of course!

Willow: *whispers* you don't know that...

Sophie: Shut up.

Willow: Make me!

Sophie: I will!

Eclipse : Please No fighting...

Everest: *mumbles* we need to get them into counseling or something.

Fern: *fidgets nervously* What's taking them so long?

Coal: There probably still figuring out whats wrong,

Nurse Joy: *comes out of the room*

Cass: *looks up at her* How is h-

Everest: *interrupts her* How is he?!

Nurse Joy: *sighs* He doing okay. We're gonna keep him here for about a week.

Eclipse: *nods* O-okay...

Coal: Can we see him?

Nurse Joy: Not now, his vitals are low and our equipment isn't the best. So you probably shouldn't see that.

Cass: What do you mean you're equipment isn't the best?

Nurse Joy: Well... giving our services away to bratty ten year olds traveling doesn't leave us with a lot of funds to get good equipment.

Fern: Geez... do you even get paid?

Nurse Joy: Nope.

Everest: Who cares?! Can we stay here until he can leave?

Nurse Joy: I'm sorry, but only one of you can stay... again, no funds to get a lot of beds or anything.

Coal: I see...

Everest: I'll stay!

Eclipse: O-okay. You sure you'll be fine?

Everest: Yeah... I'll be good.

(*a few hours later* *at their home* *at night*)

Coal: *walks over to Eclipse, who is on the couch* You okay?

Eclipse: *forces herself to nod*

Coal: *sighs and sits down next to her* No your not.

Eclipse: Wh-what do you mean?

Coal: You're literally curled up on the couch like you used to do when you were an Eevee.

Eclipse: *blushes* You're one to talk! You sleep with a f***in blanket?

Coal: So? It's cold a night...

Eclipse: *sighs, sitting up and leaning against him*

Coal: *wraps a paw around her* Come on Sis, what's wrong?

Eclipse: It's my fault...

Coal: What?

Eclipse: I reassured everyone I could protect Watt... and then f-f-failed! *Wipes her wet eyes*

Coal: *sighs* Look, you couldn't have known what would happen.

Eclipse: ...I guess...

Coal: And you cat bet yourself up over it.

Eclipse: But I have to! No one else will!

Coal: *hugs her* Because no one should. Okay?

Eclipse: ... *doesn't respond*

(*In Willow's  room*)

Eli: *peaks in through the blanket, because willow still hasn't fixed her door* Psst? Willow?

Willow: *groans, groggily waking up* Yeah? 

Eli: can I sleep in here?

Willow: *is surprised* Um sure?

Eli: *nods* Thanks... *walks in and sits on her bed*

Willow: *tilts her head* You okay?

Eli: Yeah... just... *sighs* I, not used to my room being so... lonely.

Willow: What do you mean?

Eli: Well, usually... Watt is in the room next to mine, and I usually let him check in on me to make sure I'm not dead.... because he gets nervous about that stuff. I'm not used to not having anyone nearby...

Willow: I see... *lays back down* W-well you can stay in here for as long as you need.

Eli: *blushes a little, curling up on the other end of the bed* th-thanks... Goodnight.
