Cynder: It's the time between things that people take to do stuff when they're waiting for other things to happen.

Evercross: Like new dares?

Cynder: Yes exactly. *rubbing her ears in pain*

Evercross: What's the matter?

Cynder: Huh? Oh nothing, just an earache. I'll be okay.

Evercross: Let me see!

Cynder: Well okay, you are a doctor. So go ahead and check it out.

Evercross: *looks in her ears* Hmm, I don't see anything that would cause pain. *Takes a closer look* Ah I see now, you have something stuck in your ears!

Cynder: I do?

Evercross: Don't worry, I'll fix it!

Cynder: Wait what are you going to do?

Evercross: Just lay down and let me fix the problem!

Cynder: Uh, okay. *Lays down* You're doing this as part of the example, aren't you? Of what I just explained to you about intermission?

Evercross: Yup! Now hold still while I do this please!

Cynder: *stays still* It's not gonna hurt, is it?

Evercross: Nope! *gets out a syringe*

Cynder: Wait what's that for?

Evercross: It has medicine to help your ears feel better!

Cynder: How?

Evercross: Like this! *Injects the medicine in her ears and the pain instantly goes away*

Cynder: Oh that's much better. Thanks Evercross.

Evercross: No problem! Anything for a friend! And the thing stuck in your ears was just wax built up causing you pain so the medicine I made helped take care of it!

Cynder: Really? How?

Evercross: It dissolved it instantly!

Cynder: That's pretty cool.

Evercross: Yup! You wanna watch a movie?

Cynder: Sure, let's go watch a Christmas movie.
