How long have you been an ARMY? by MoChI-_-moCHi

I have been an ARMY I think since 2020,although I wish I had known them since 2013 itself! 😭😭😭 I just can't believe how much of pure happiness I had been missing out on throughout all that time I didn't know much about BTS.

So, I have none other than my bestie @jeondishi to thank for introducing me to these 7 magnificent angels. Unfortunately, she doesn't use Wattpad anymore.

BTS was a very popular topic among alot of people my age during the time (and still is) but at the time I didn't know much about them. I've only heard the name but I didn't know anything such as the names of the members or how many members are there... Nothing! Why? Because I'm Patrick Star's roommate (meaning I live under a humongous rock)

I was also aware that amongst the BTS lovers, there were some haters as well.

My friend @jeondishi was a huge fan of BTS and every time we text she would always talk to me about BTS and I got to know about Jungkook alot because he is her bias.

She sent me alot of BTS videos and would post so many BTS related content on her status. I didn't understand much because there were alot of inside ARMY jokes which I didn't get but I was curious and was starting to enjoy them.

She would also tell me alot of facts about BTS as well and I found all the cute and kind hearted things they have done to be really heartwarming. For example, how RM translated all the hate comments to positive comments to the members by keeping all the hate to himself just so that his members would be motivated. He is indeed the best leader! 😭😭😭❤️

I think the first BTS English song I ever listened to was 'Dynamite'. It went on the radio once and I was instantly blown away by the vibe and the sheer greatness of the song and I was immediately like 'I need to know who is responsible for this masterpiece!'

Then after the song ended, the radio host said that it was by BTS and I was like 'OMG WOW! THAT WAS THE MOST TALKED ABOUT BTS? THEY ARE INSANELY AMAZING! HOW COULD PEOPLE HATE THEM? THEY ARE GREAT!'

Then I searched them up and watched those BTS funny videos on YouTube for like a week and gradually, the famous meme where ARMYs say 'I just wanted to know their names, and I ended up being a fully pledged ARMY' happened to me in the exact same way. I officially fell for them!

I got to know that most of their songs have good meanings which really won me over because I'm a huge supporter of those kind of songs.

The first Korean song of theirs that I listened to was 'Life Goes on'. It was posted on my friends status, and on that day I was in a really sour mood so I watched her status and the song was so ethereal and calming and it instantly cheered me up. I loved every members voice including Jimin's really amazing high notes. I was impressed on how amazingly he nailed them.

Another funny thing that happened when I was a baby ARMY was... I used to struggle alot when it came to recognizing each of the members by their face because at the time, they all looked the same for me! 😭😭😭

So, my friend would try and 'train' me by sending me GIFs of the members and would ask me to tell me who it is and I used to fail horribly at that. 😭😭😭 And my friend was super trusfrated!!! Those were hilarious memories. 😂😂😂

But as time went by, I got better at it (thanks to the multiple YouTube videos) and now I can proudly say that I can tell which member it is just by seeing his lips, eyes, nose etc. Lmao! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Being an ARMY was the best decision that I've ever made! 💜💜💜
