I Was Tagged (Part II)

This was actually a draft from about a year ago that I guess I accidentally never published, so I don't remember who tagged me.

1) Your Name

Never gonna answer that question. I enjoy my anonymity.

2) Hair Color

Dark brown. Like, so dark it appears black unless under very good light.

3)Eye Color

Brown

4) Favorite Place

I don't know that I have one. Maybe my house, just because I'm very much a home body. I don't do a lot of traveling, though it is definitely a goal to do more. It might also be my Dojo/Dojang. I love martial arts with a passion, so it makes sense that my training area is a special place to me.

5) Favorite Food

Cheese. Specifically Parmesan and Asiago.

6) Favorite Anime

Oh dear God, where do I even start. So, I have a list on my phone of every anime I've ever watched in order of when I watched them, along with a personal ranking for each one. The ones that have made it to S Tier are: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Future Diary, My Hero Academia, Code Geass, Attack on Titan, and Haikyuu. Demon Slayer might also have moved up there, as well.

In terms of story, FMAB and Attack on Titan definitely take the cake. Character wise, FMAB absolutely wins. The characters are all so intriguing and were masterfully written, and I could go on for hours about the relationship between Mustang and Hawkeye. Code Geass wins in terms of playing with my emotions, and My Hero Academia is just so fun and has great action scenes that always keep me coming back. Haikyuu is great in character development and inspiration. There are just some scenes in the show that get me so pumped up. And Demon Slayer, again, has great action and a fantastic story. And, as a martial artist, I especially appreciate the accuracy of the swordsmanship.

7) Fandoms you Like:

I'm a little confused by this question. As in Fandoms I'm a part of? In that case, all of the anime I've just listed above I could talk about forever. Avatar the Last Airbender, of course. The martial arts, again, I could drone on and on about for days, and the show is just phenomenal in every aspect. It's perfection. I love Doctor Who, but Chibnall ruined it and I haven't seen any of the 13th Doctor because of his terrible writing. I'm excited for the upcoming series and David Tennant's return!

Now, if you mean which fandom I like, as in the community, that's a lot harder, because a lot of them are shit. Gatekeepers and toxicity destroy a lot of fandoms, such as RWBY. But I've found the ATLA community to be so welcoming and wonderful, so I would say Avatar.

8) What would you do if you were the richest person in the world?

Be kind. Be generous. Probably give away so much that I wouldn't be the richest person in the world. If you want specifics, I would pay off all my friends debts and buy them all houses. Make sure my friends and family are set for life. Invest a good chunk of it to maintain wealth. And then honestly, just start giving it away. I don't understand why billionaires aren't out there acting like goddamn genies. I love being able to go out to a restaurant and just tip like, $100. I can't do it often, but it honestly makes me so happy to make someone else happy. My dream is literally to retire early and be a regular at some diner that everyone knows and leave ridiculously large tips. Seriously, I would love to be able to just buy someone a car for no reason.

9) Last person you talked to

I just got done teaching a class of Black Belts, so them.

10) Are you in love with someone?

No I am not. I am not currently seeking a relationship because I am so busy and don't feel I have the time. I don't think it would be fair for me to date someone unless I can seriously commit to that relationship.

11) 3 things you wish you could do

I wish I could compose music. And I mean orchestral, instrumental music. Not that I have anything against contemporary music or the like, but I find instrumental pieces to be so much more impactful and moving. A good soundtrack can make or break a scene and I am in awe of people with the talent to write scores. I am incredibly envious of their ability.

I wish I was better at martial arts. I compete and teach and am taught by some truly incredible people, and though I am pretty well known in my area for my ability, I can't compare with a lot of these people. I've trained and competed with people who have gone on to do stunt work in Hollywood and be in Marvel films. But I don't have that strength, flexibility, and the drive they do. And there are so many incredible Masters who know so much and are so incredible at what they do. They're my heroes and I hope I can be like them one day.

I wish I had a stronger drive. Something that pushed me to keep going and never stop and keep aiming higher and higher. I do what I can, and I am always working to improve my martial arts and financial knowledge so I can retire sooner than later, but there are some people that have this fire that burns so brightly. Most of the time I have to force myself to do things that I don't want to do. I hate running. I hate being out of breath. But I know I have to go through these things to be stronger, so I do it. But some people are just naturally in love with the process. I'm just not one of them and sometimes it makes me feel like I'm less.

12) Dream Job?

Martial artist. I am actually in the process of opening my first studio, and the goal is to quit my job as an electrician in the next year and be able to turn my attention to that full time. I have some great mentors, people who literally make millions of dollars a year running a martial arts school, and I want to be able to do that. Not that I need to make that much money, but I want to be able to do what I love and live comfortably, without worry, while doing it.

13) Someone you trust?

In middle school and the first year of high school I was severely depressed and tried to take my life on multiple occasions. I didn't have any friends and chased away anyone who tried to approach me. Then one day a girl that I didn't know and who didn't know me, saw me eating alone at lunch and stole my lunch to force me to sit with her and her friends. When I didn't she sat with me instead, and eventually she got me to cave. She literally saved my life, and is one of my closest friends to this day. I don't think there's anyone I trust more than her.

14) Things that annoy you

I don't get angry a lot. When I was younger I had anger management issues, and because of that I have worked very hard to control that side of me. But there is nothing that upsets me more than someone mistreating the people I care about. I am fiercely protective of the people I love, and badmouthing them is a good way to make me mad.

If you mean minor annoyances: people who chew loud, people with no sense of urgency who don't care about timeliness, hypocrites, you know, the usual.

15) Favorite Sports

Do you even have to ask?

16) 2 amazing people you met on Wattpad

I haven't really met anyone on Wattpad. I occasionally get messages from people and have proof read some people's stories, but I wouldn't say I've really met anyone.

17) Would you like to be president of your country? If yes, what is the first thing you would do after becoming president?

Well, I don't want to be president. And I don't like talking about politics because it is such a volatile subject in the US. Basically, all politicians are corrupt and I hate all parties. I would say I identify more as a Democrat, but that's more because I care more about being a decent person, and Republicans stereotypically are anti-LGBTQ+ and sometimes racist. I don't understand why people can't just love people. It really makes me sad. I don't care what political affiliation you identify as, so long as you're a good and decent person.

18) Can you differentiate between honesty and truth?

That is an excellent question. I would honesty is something you are whereas truth is a concept. Like, if I don't lie, that's honesty. But truth is fact and it is impartial. Have you ever seen the illustration of two people standing on either end of a 9. The person at the bottom says it's a nine and the person at the top says it's a six. Both are being honest, but neither one of them has the full truth.
