J: I was waiting for you to explain why you're such a dick before that. After all she did ask why you're a dick first.

S: *stares* Ugh. Fine. I am 'such a dick' as you so eloquently put it because you people are not worth my time. *glances at John* Well expect John, of course.

J: 'The girls' *giggles*

S: *rolls eyes* But yes. I am a dick because you are stupid. End of conversation.

J: ... I think he acts like a dick because he doesn't want anyone to get close. Getting close means they can hurt him. Sherlock isn't the most trusting being so he pushes them away and makes them dislike him so they can never get close. ...Well, all that and the fact that he's a sociopath who doesn't bother with social etiquette.

S: And John puts up with it because he loves me.

*silence*

S: Right?

J: Oh, you stupid insecure man. You know I love you! *kisses Sherlock's cheek*

S: So to conclude. John loves me and I'm a dick because I can be.

J: Pretty much, yeah. *laughs*
