Jack chuckled slightly as he watched David turn bright red. He had found himself returning to the thought of them sharing a domestic married life together quite a bit recently.
"Well... Ordinarily us being married would be an issue due to being in the red army, fortunately we both work here, however there is still the issue that one of us could get injured or killed, ruining one of our emotional states, and eventually our work ethic," Jack explained.
"That's a grim way of thinking," Catherine frowned.
"Yeah no crap," David mumbled to himself.
"Of course, I would try to retire as quickly as possible and get a stable job to support David until he can get his own job as well, then we would try living a stable life together I guess, if he wanted to work then I would allow him that, however if he wanted to relax, I would try taking the reigns and working twice as hard, I would just do everything in my power to make sure he is happy in the marriage,"
"H-Heh that's sweet Jack, but I would be able to take care of myself," David chuckled, trying not to seem flustered.
