Jack mentally panicked after hearing this. Crap. Hopefully that wouldn't make things awkward between them. Meanwhile David was confused. He had known Jack thought of him as a close friend, but he had no idea Jack valued his friendship that much.
"Aw, I didn't know you cared about me that much Jack, I'm glad to be your friend," David smiled up at Jack. Thank god David was adorably oblivious.
