Reinforced
David was still taking care of that patient, and while Jack was of course worried since it seemed like he was taking a little too long, he decided against trying to barge into the infirmary unannounced. David was working diligently, and Jack would just get in his way. Might as well just stay put. Oh wait. What was the question he had to answer? Ah. Yes.
"This situation seems highly unlikely, however, I will still answer it since it is probably metaphorical, if I were-"
"There you are Jack!" A cheery voice interrupted him mid-sentence. Jack turned around, only to see David happily skipping down the hallway. He was done with that patient? Finally!
"David! Finally done with that patient?" Jack called out.
"Mm-hm! I had to- GAH!" David tripped and fell into Jack's arms. Jack stumbled backwards as he tried to support David's lightweight body. THUNK! Oh no... Did they just...? Jack turned his slightly to see that his back was pressed up against a metal wall.
"CRAP!" Jack shouted. David managed to get back up on his feet.
"What's wrong?" Just as David had asked that, he heard a large slamming noise behind him, and suddenly he was in complete darkness.
"We appear to be stuck in the isolation chamber," Jack sighed.
"Isolation chamber?! Jack why do you even have an isolation chamber in your office?!" David squeaked.
"I am the ripper, you would be surprised by the kind of mental torture a person can go through via isolation," Jack shrugged. A light turned on above them, only illuminating how awkwardly close they were.
"Well how do we get out?" David pouted, lightly hitting the reinforced steel door.
"I am not allowed to kill any of our prisoners unless instructed to, therefore I put this chamber under a timer," Jack explained.
"How long do we have to wait?" David asked.
"Well I set the timer differently depending on the prisoner, I last used it on a prisoner who already had a fear of loneliness, therefore I did not have to set it for very long," Jack trailed off.
"You still haven't answered my question," David rolled his eyes.
"Several hours, eight at the least," Jack sighed.
"WHAT?!" David panicked.
"Guess we'll find out," Jack chuckled, answering the previous question.
(Imma write a bunch of the next questions with the implication that they're still in the chamber. Guess I'll stop once the audience or I get bored of it)
