"W-What? The lockdown?! Heck no! That was terrible!" David's ears completely flattened, and his tail slowed it's movements. His eyes shifted to Jack. He was near his office door and slipping his military coat back on.
"What?" Jack asked, noticing David's staring.
"Oh uh sorry! Just curious as to why you're putting that back on, didn't you want to impress someone?" David asked, not daring to let his eyes seperate from Jack's.
"Yes but as I said, they do not seem to be taking much notice, so I do not think there is any point in keeping it off," Jack sighed. David frowned a bit but nodded nonetheless. He just liked Jack the way he was, but without the military coat? Well that was a plus. "You appear to be disappointed," Jack chuckled.
"W-What?! No I'm not!" David squeaked. Jack smiled a bit and just continued putting his coat back on. David sighed. Okay maybe he did miss being so close to Jack.
