Well, it's a pretty long and complicated story. I have a boyfriend, a year ago, he cheated on his ex with me (because she cheated first, and it still bothers me till this day). After a month, we started dating, much to his ex's dismay.

We broke up after like three months, he told all my friends and his that he was going to break up with me (hurt me badly but my Bff told me about it before he could break up with me, so I dumped him first).

The next day, he's dating his ex.

After another couple of months they break up and he asks me to be his girlfriend (I accept like the idiot I am)

So I have a couple of questions:

1. I've been thinking of breaking up with him. I really like him, but the history is too painful to forget. Should I?

2. Is it bad that I'm thinking of taking revenge on him?

3. Is it bad that I'm still living in the past? Should I just forget what he did to me?

4. Permission to punch him?

(Okay, this was long and descriptive ;-; I am sorry. Yes, I am the biggest bitch alive for kissing a guy that was taken, I know that.)

Ok so to answer your questions:

1. If you really like him, then maybe see it through but I'm not sure how your relationship will end. It seems like this guy has a track record of dating then dumping people but I guess I don't know much about him other than what you've told me. Really consider your feelings towards him and then make an educated decision, will he hurt you again?

2. Yes, revenge won't solve anything. It's much better to be the bigger person and act civilly and maturely in this situation. Although it may be tempting, revenge won't do anything but worsen the situation!

3. You shouldn't forget the past, but maybe try and be open to the idea that he might have changed since then. Try and give him a chance if you feel like he deserves one, if not then just calmly leave him.

4. Permission denied. He sounds like a bit of an idiot, so instead of a punch maybe explain to him why dating and then dumping girls in such a short space of time isn't acceptable behaviour.
