Me: OHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I have only joined to share with you a story of the most romantic Edwin and Almay story I can think of...please enjoy!

P.S. THESE STORIES DO BELONG TO ME! THOUGH FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST DOES NOT... :(

Edwin Story:

It was Alphonse's birthday. Edward didn't know how it had popped up so quickly, only that now his little brother was turning fourteen. Even though they were starting to get a new lead on the philosopher's stone and that Al was still stuck inside that suit of armor, Ed wanted to give his little brother a great birthday, like the old days before they had started this crazy journey.

Ed called up Winry as soon as he could. They both agreed that they should throw a party for Al, and that the Rockbell home was the best place to have it. Ed bought a train ticket for Risembool, and purposley broke his automail in order to fool Al into thinking that Ed would need repairs. Al almost didn't buy it, but in the end believed that Ed had a small squirmish with Envy and he had to go back to Risembool in order to get it repaired. Ed insisted that Al didn't need to go with him, and that he should continue their reaserch on the philosopher's stone while he was away, promising to call Al if anything happened.

Al agreed to stay behind, and Ed was off to Risembool by that afternoon. The whole train ride he reflected on his life, and how he hoped it would be worth getting a wrench to the face by Winry, because she was sure the kill him as soon as she found out he purposfully broke his automail. Having it broken by someone else was bad enough, but if she found out that he broke it...he might as well write out his last will.

He walked to the Rockbell home, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air that wasn't a pleasure one could have in Central. He enjoyed it as much as he could, as he was sure that he was going to die in the next half an hour.

Den barked, announcing Ed's arrival. Granny Pinako greeted Ed, asking about how things were going with him and Al and if not Al had bought Ed's lie. Ed sheepishly explained that he had broken his automail on purpose in order to fool Al, as to the fact that he was sure there was no other way for him to believe any other lie Ed would make up.

As though she had the ears of a dog, a wrench had suddenly flown from the balcony upstairs and hit Ed on his forhead, which was sure to leave a mark later.

Ed groaned from his spot on the ground, Den licking his face quickly. "What the hell was that for, Winry?!" Ed yelled as soon as he sat up.

"You, stupid!" Winry yelled back. "Why would you break your automail?! And more importantly, on purpose?!"

"Al wouldn't believe me otherwise!"

"What, are you that bad of a liar?"

"You know what? Maybe I am!"

Winry huffed in annoyance. "A shorty and a bad liar. How will you get anywhere in life?"

Ed grew a chip in his head. "WHO'RE YOU CALLING A TINY LITTLE SHORTY WHO YOU CAN'T SEE EVEN IF HE'S STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO YOU?!"

Winry ignored him, and instead walked down the stairs and to Ed, helping him up and picking up her wrench. Ed made sure to stand a safe distance away, for the fact that she could throw her wrench at him again.

Luckily, Ed didn't break his automail too badly, and with a few new repairs his arm was good to go. Winry took out a big box that was full of decorations; she and Ed began to hang them up. Inside there was a giant sign of little flags that spelled out, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AL! Ballons were hung up all around the house, and Ed had a little too much fun with hanging up the multi-colored streamers. When they ran out of helium to fill the balloons, Ed transmuted the carbon dioxide from his breath(after filling the ballons) into helium, which worked for a little bit, but he popped a balloon once, causing helium to spray into his face and Winry to laugh at him. Ed yelled at her, but she couldn't take him seriously as to the fact that his voice was now really high-pitched and squeeky.

Later, Winry was icing the cake that she had made, hoping that Al would enjoy it even if he couldn't eat it. She would tell him that when he got his body back she would make him as many cakes as he wanted, for all of the birthday cakes that he missed. However, just as she was finishing, a sudden hiccup! came out of her mouth, and she blushed a little with embarassment, glad that Ed was putting up balloons outside. After a few minutes, she found that she just couldn't concentrate, and went out to try and find Ed, hoping that he could help her.

Winry walked outside to see Ed on a ladder, attaching some ballons to the roof. She had no idea why he was doing that, but didn't question it very much. She had a much important matter on her hands, and that was getting rid of her hiccups.

"Ed!" She called.

"Yeah, Winry?" Ed asked, looking down at her from up at the top of the ladder.

Winry couldn't help herself. "You look a lot taller now!"

Ed actually fell off the ladder. "WHO'RE YOU CALLING A LITTLE BEAN SPROUT WHO CAN'T EVEN GROW A MILIMETER?!" That just caused Winry to laugh even harder than she was before, but stopped short when a, hiccup! came out, causing her to blush. Ed cocked his head to the side in curiosity. "Do you have the hiccups?"

Winry blushed a bit more. "Y-yeah. And I need some *Hic!* help with getting rid of them!"

Ed thought for a moment. "Well, drink a glass of water." He suggested, trying to think back to the meathods that his mother used when he and Al had the hiccups. "That's what I always did."

Winry nodded, looking at Ed one more time before heading back inside the house. Ed waited until she was inside and the door had closed before he got up and followed her, being as ninja-like as he could. He watched as Winry grabbed a glass and filled it with water. Before she could take a sip, however, he jumped out from the doorway and yelled, "BOO!" causing Winry to shriek and nearly drop her glass of water.

"What the hell was that for, dumbass?!" She yelled, turning around and looking at him after putting down her water.

"Are your hiccups gone?" Ed asked, smirking.

Winry stopped, waiting to see if the dreaded sound of a hiccup would come out again, though after a few seconds nothing happened. "I think they're gone!" She yelled happily, but right after that another hiccup came out and she began to pout.

Ed sighed, scratching the back of his head. "Well, that always worked when Al had hiccups."

Winry frowned at Ed. Sure, she had had hiccups before, but was to frustrated and upset to remember what she would normally do when she had them. Instead, she grabbed the water glass again and drank the water, wiping her mouth on her sleave afterwards. Both Ed and Winry waited in anticipation, hoping that it would work...

Hiccup!

Both of them sighed in frustration, Ed walking a little closer to Winry. "Let's see, what else do people do when they have hiccups..." He asked himself, stopping just in front of her. After a minute, his eyes lit up and he snapped his fingers, as though he was Mustang and was trying to burn something. "I know! Hold your breath."

Winry raised an eyebrow, but then took a large breath of air and held it, her cheek's puffing out. Ed looked at her, realizing a tiny blush was forming on her cheeks...her cheeks that were all puffed up and full of air...Ed couldn't resist. He poked her cheek, causing Winry to lose her breath and hiccup again.

"Ed!" She wined.

"Sorry!" Ed said. "Your cheeks just looked really-" Ed paused for a moment, realizing what he was just about to say. "-cute..." He mumbled the last part.

Winry could hear him just fine though, and blushed again, harder this time. "W-well I'm just trying to get rid of these hiccups and y-you're waisting time messing arou-*Hic!*"

Ed chuckled. "Okay, okay, I won't poke your cheeks this time."

Winry gave him a tiny smile and began to hold her breath again, her cheeks puffing out like last time, but Ed didn't poke her cheeks again. They waited for a little bit, until Winry couldn't hold her breath any more and took a gasp of air, both of them waiting in silence for a little bit...until...

Hiccup!

Winry cursed this time, causing Ed to look at her in shock. Winry never got this annoyed, or annoyed enough to swear like she did. Not even when he broke his automail, which was probably the most he's ever seen her angry. "I just can't hold my breath long enough!" She complained.

Ed thought for a bit, trying to think up of a meathod to get Winry a cure to her hiccups. After a moment, he thought that perhaps there was something that he could do...only, he didn't want to ruin their friendship or anything. Ed had had a crush on the automail mechanic for a while now, but was unsure about if the feeling was mutual or not...

...Awa, screw it.

Ed wasn't going to give up an oportunity like this again, and just wanted to see if she perhaps felt the same way. Besides, if she asked him about what the hell he just did, he could always feign innocence and claim that he was trying to help her get rid of her hiccups by letting her hold her breath long enough. So, Ed quickly cupped Winry's cheek and leaned down, letting her lips touch his.

Winry was clearly shocked. Never would she think that Ed would be so bold as to kiss her just out of the blue like that, and was quite annoyed because she had never agreed to kiss him, and didn't want her first kiss to be wasted over the fact that she had hiccups and Ed was probably just trying to do the right thing and think of it as helping her out. Of course, she did always have a crush on him, but she wanted to confess her feelings before he kissed her.

Winry began to try and back out of the kiss, wanting an explination to why he was so bold as of right now, but Ed wouldn't let her. He really liked kissing her, and something arose in him that didn't want the kiss to end right then and there. When she tried to step back, he stepped forward, affectivley trapping her against the kitchen counter and kissing her a little harder. Once again, Winry was shocked, but slowly melted into the kiss and closed her eyes, kissing him back.

After a few seconds, Winry wrapped her arms around Ed's neck and he wrapped his around her waist. She suddenly felt something rise in her, and Winry's tounge slipped past both her lips and Ed's, going into his mouth. To say that Ed was shocked would be an understatment: he didn't know what to do from there, and he thought that his heart stopped for a moment. Of course, he knew about how things like kissing and...it...went, but he had never kissed anyone before, let alone French kissed.

When Ed regained his sences, he realized that Winry's tounge seemed to be exploring his mouth, and a weird noise came from the back of his throat, that caused Winry to chuckle into his mouth, sending vibrations into it and for the same noise to come out again. Ed had no idea what it was, but decided that he was done with Winry's tounge and wanted to explore her mouth too. His own tounge managed to push Winry's out of his mouth and back into her own along with his. As he began to explore, Winry's tounge began to push against his and tried to gain access back into his mouth, but Ed was subborn and didn't let her do so. Winry eventually gave up, and let him explore her own mouth, causing herself to moan.

Ed didn't quite know what that sound she made was, only that it was adorable...and that he wanted to hear it again. He ran his tounge over the backs of her teeth, causing the same sound to come out, making him growl. He wanted to hear it again...

...but the necessity of oxygen cause them to seperate.

Ed and Winry both panted, a single trail of saliva connecting their mouths. Winry blushed and quickly wiped it away, her head turning to the side. Ed smirked and dopped his head into the crook of her neck. For a moment they stood in silence, just waiting for something else to happen...

...Hiccup!

Ed's eyes widened and he raised his head, looking to Winry in surprise, who was blushing. "How the hell do you still have those hiccups?" He asked her.

Winry hesitantly shrugged, looking away again. "I-I don't know. *Hic!*"

Ed sighed. "Well then..." He leaned back into her face. "I guess that you still weren't holding your breath long enough."

Winry's blush deepened, if possible. "I-I guess..."

Ed chuckled. "I guess that we'll have to try again..."

Winry looked back to him, her face still heavy with the same blush. "Y-yeah...*Hic!*"

Almay Story:

It was Christmas time in Amestris, and Al was freaking out.

A certain Xingese princess was coming to Risembool to visit for that certain time of year, and Al wasn't quite sure about what to get her. I've got the new red coat for Brother...the new wrench for Winry...the new pipe for Grannie...the book on Amestris history for Mustang...the new cleaning oil for Hawkeye's gun...the flower's for Mom and Dad...but WHAT WOULD A XINGESE PRINCESS WANT FOR CHRISTMAS?!

If you don't think that Al was freaking out by this point, you may want to go back and read that last paragraph again.

Al passed around his room, his shoes making a clicking noise as he did so. All that he needed was that one thing-one thing-but what it was, he didn't know. He had no idea about what a Xingese Princess would want for Christmas, and Al didn't even know if she was that into Jewlery or anything. He had considered getting her a book about Alchemy, but what else could scream, NERD! than getting her that? Sure, she was interested in Alchemy, but would she really want a book about it? Thus, Al was stuck back at the Jewlery idea.

It was currently almost two hours until Mei's train to Risembool would arrive, and Al was growing desperate. He had tried to make a promise to himself that he wouldn't ask anyone for help...but come on. Al always drew a blank when it came to girls, and was always unsure about their feelings or interests. Winry could at one minute be happy and jumpy, and then the next become as dark and scary as Teacher and thow her wrench at Ed. Mei wasn't like that...at least, Al did think so.

So, he decided that he had no choice but ask.

Al exited his room and walked downstairs to where both Ed and Winry were, probably baking the Christmas cake and fooling around again. Sure enough, as soon as he entered, he saw Winry throw some of the icing at Ed, which would have started a food fight, had he not stepped in.

"Uh, Brother? Winry?" He asked. "Could I talk to you both?"

Both Ed and Winry looked to Al, and smiled, forgetting about whatever had caused Winry to throw icing at Ed in the first place. Al was thankful that she didn't throw her wrench at him, because he would have a much harder time with getting them both to stop strangling each other.

"Sure, Al," Ed said, smiling brightly. "What's up?"

Al hesitated. "I...I don't have a gift for Mei..."

Winry raised an eyebrow. "But when we asked if you had one for her you said you had the perfect idea."

"Well, I thought I did!" Al argued. "It's just that...I don't know if she'd really want it."

Ed nodded. "What was it that you were gonna get her?"

"A book about Alchemy," Al explained. "But I don't really know if she'll want that! I mean..." Al trailed off.

"What?" Winry asked.

"...What if she thinks that I'm a nerd?"

Ed and Winry couldn't help but laugh, making Al frown at them. "Come on, guys! I'm serious!"

Winry's laughs turned into tiny giggles. "Al, Mei won't think that you're a nerd. She can't without thinking of herself as one too!"

Al sighed. "But still."

"Then get her some sort of necklace." Ed said, smiling.

"But what if she doesn't want that either?!"

"Al, you're overthinking this," Winry said. "If you're really worried, then just get her both. And she won't hate you or anything. I mean, Mei loves you."

Al blushed. "N-no she doesn't."

Ed snorted. "You kidding? She can't keep her eyes off of you!"

Al looked back at him. "But what if she gets angry and then-"

"AL!" Winry shouted. "Just get her anything. I'm sure that Mei will love anything you give her, so long that it's from you."

Al sighed, then smiled, feeling a little more confident. "Alright. I'll just have to get her both!"

Winry and Ed both smiled to him. "That's the spirit!" Winry told him. "Now, you might wanna get those presents all wrapped up now, lover-boy. Her train's gonna get her in about an hour."

"WHAT?!"

~*~

Al waited at the Risembool train station, for Mei's train to come. They had both agreed that Al would pick her up and then they would both walk to the Rockbell house for the Christmas party. Al was feeling much more confident with himself and his decision. He watched as the train came to the station, slowling to a stop in front of him. A few people exited the train, and Al looked around for Mei.

"Alphonse!"

Al looked to see Mei walking right to him, carrying three bags the seemed pretty full and heavy. Al smiled to her, walking up to her as well. "Hey, Mei!"

Mei gave a small giggle, some of the air around her mouth coming up in light fog from the cold. "It's great to see you again!"

Al kept his large smile. "It's great to see you too!" He said, entirly truthful. "Do you want help?" He gestured to the bags she was holding.

"Well, if you wouldn't mind," She told him, handing him a bag. "They are a little heavy."

"Here," Al took another bag from her. "Better?"

Mei blushed a tiny bit, but whether it was from the cold or Al's act of kindness, he didn't know. He only smiled and began to lead the way to the Rockbell house. On the way there, him and Mei laughed and talked, discussing things that happened in both of their countries. Once they arrived at the door, Al opened it for her(like a gentleman), and followed her in after she had entered. Mustang and Riza Hawkeye were already there, and some more people(like Major Armstrong, Maria Ross, and Sheska) had yet to show up. Everyone greeted Mei, and after taking her coat from her Al helped Mei place her gifts under the giant tree.

A few hours later, everyone was there and gifts had been opened. Everyone was greatful and happy, Al most of all happy for Mei for the fact that she had gotten him a stuffed plush kitten, and Mei incredibly happy for the Alchemy book and little bronze locket that Al and created.

"I'll just have to get a picture now!" She told him, giving him a huge hug after Al had helped her put it on. "Thank you so much, Alphonse!"

"You're welcome, Mei." He told her. He was thankful that Truth was apparently on his side, because Mei had not called him a nerd or anything for getting her the Alchemy book...at least not yet.

The night went on, and after a while Mei got up to go and get some more hot chocolate. Al got up with her, deciding that he could use some more too, when as soon as they got to the doorway Winry screamed, "STOP!"

Surprised, both Al and Mei turned around and looked at Winry, who was grinning like the evil person she is. "Look up, you lovebirds~!"

Scared for his life, Al slowly looked up to see the dreaded plant that had ruined some people's friendships in the past...Misletoe. And him and Mei were standing right under it. Al looked back down at Mei, who was blushing just as much as he was, if not more. "Uh, uh, uh..." Nonsense seemed to spew out of Al's mouth, unable to form a full sentence.

"Well, don't just stand there!" Ed yelled at him. "Kiss!"

Al gave his brother a tiny glare, before looking back at Mei, who looked down for a moment. Wanting to get it over with-not because he didn't like her, but because he didn't want either of them to be any further embarrassed-Al tipped Mei's chin up and kissed her gently. Mei almost immediatly kissed him back, and their lips stayed locked for a few seconds, before they pulled away. People from the other room were wolf-whistling and clapping. Al found his hands resting on Mei's waist, and her arms around his neck...but how they got there, he didn't know.

The only thing that he really knew as that him and Mei were sure as heck not going to be friends anymore...if you know what I mean.
