Angel: Okay, numero uno: Can you tell us your earliest memory of Disney?

Vanessa: My earliest memory? Well, I was only one but my mother bought me Tarzan on DVD and played it in Spanish (to help me with my Spanish) and I instantly fell in love. Since then, I would watch it everyday in both English and Spanish and listen to the soundtrack 24/7. I knew that I'd love this movie for the rest of my life and I do.

Angel: You're bilingual? I'm Korean, but I can't speak it or interpret it fluently, whoops, haha. Two: Why did you want to be a member of DisnerdsCentral?

Vanessa: Beside wanting to make friends? (😂) Well, I saw this group and thought, "Wow. This is my kind of thing." and I knew I wanted to be apart of a group that spreads the Disney magic.

Angel: I think we're all secretly lonely inside! I'm glad DisnerdsCentral made you excited! Three: What has been your favorite part of the DisnerdsCentral experience?

Vanessa: Just being able to spread Disney magic to so many people is just the best part of this. And being with people who are just as crazy about Disney as you? SCORE!

Angel: That's our goal! Four: Who is your Disney character that you portray on DisnerdsCentral and why?

Vanessa: I portray Belle from Beauty And The Beast. The reason I portray her is because she is basically me! We both long for adventure and we both love books. (Like A LOT.) She's such an adventure seeker and that's who I am despite me being afraid of many things. (But that never stopped Belle did it?) Also, I think we sorta look alike but it's highly unlikely. 😂

Angel: And it's a bonus that Emma Watson just happens to play Belle, right? Five: Can you believe it's almost been a year since DisnerdsCentral began?

Vanessa: I'm still shocked. I can't believe that I've been apart of this amazing and magical group for so long. It only feels like yesterday that I was just joining....

Angel: It feels like yesterday that Rose and I created it! Six: What is your favorite Disney movie and character and why?

Vanessa: ......You ask the questION OF DEATH.

HOW DARE YOU.

Okay fine. I'll answer.

AT THE MOMENT, my favourite Disney movie has to be Mulan because of how Disney made such a powerful movie with a female lead that breaks the boundaries in stereotypes. Also, it is filled with comedy and heartfelt moments that will stay with me forever.

Disney character is an even tougher decision. Every single character has made me smile, laugh and cry and I adore all of them for that so this is tough.

But at the moment, I adore Moana. I have recently watched it and it's honestly the best. (Go and watch it! I recommend it 10003738291000%) And Moana's character is so beautiful. The way she develops throughout the movie and how she deals with all her problems and emotions and....it's just so inspiring and beautiful.

Angel: I agree with both choices 100%. And I'm...sorry? for asking that question, I guess... Seven: When you learned that you were going to be a part of DisnerdsCentral, what was your initial reaction?

Vanessa: Oh gosh... ummm.... I was very excited. I remember screaming to my sister, "SIS. I'M A PART OF A CLUB. I'M GONNA SPREAD SOME DISNEY MAGIC." and she just looked at me like I was crazy and just nods and walks away. I was SUPER excited that I would be able to be apart of something like this. It's truly magical.

Angel: Disney will forever be magic. Eight: What do you love most about our team and family?

Vanessa: Everyone is so nice to each other. You never see people excluding other people. Everyone is welcomed with a big warm hug and you get to be apart of this beautiful Ohana where everyone is loved and feel like they can be apart of something wonderful and just not feel so lonely and that's something so beautiful and pure. 💖

Angel: I dunno about everyone else, but it's only in my nature(unless you're my sibling) to be nice, hahaha! Nine: What kind of advice would you give to our audience about when people you meet tell you that you shouldn't be so immersed in Disney?

Vanessa: When people tell me that I'm too old for Disney or that I shouldn't live this Disney world all my life and just grow up, I tell them this:

"If I wanted to grow up, I would have done it ages ago. But I didn't and do you want to know why? It's because I don't want to. Reality is harsh to me. It sucks the joy out of you but with a little bit of Disney magic sprinkled on there, life is a whole lot brighter. Singing 'A Spoonful Of Sugar' everyday while rocking the same hair style as Anna and having a Kim Possible ringtone just makes my day a whole lot better. It makes me happy. Not growing up makes me happy because I can have as much fun as I want and always feel like I'm on top of the world. And I want that feeling, don't you? So no, I won't grow up. I'm not to old for Disney because Disney is my life. And to take Disney away is to take away my life."

Angel: Wow! Heart-felt response! Ten: What do you plan on doing on DisnerdsCentral for the next year?

Vanessa: I would love to do something! Maybe a book or a contest or a collab but in another language (Possibly Spanish or French) because then our Disney fans that speak other languages can understand what's going on! It would be my honour to do that. 😊
