Single book: Tale of despereaux                                              It is about a mouse that doesn't fit in and it meets a princess. He gets thrown into the dungeon because it talked to the princess bla bla bla

WARNIGN: Don't watch the movie it is almost as bad as the Percy Jackson movies.

Book series: Lorein legacy well... I guess that series is popular so... than I will go this story thieves. If you have not read it I recommend you to give it a read.
