Dashlie Punched My Title Into the Twisting Nether

The fanfic, it lives! I have been resurrected from my writing hell to finally update a fanfic I actually published!

Ember rushes into the house, carrying her tablet and grinning manically." Hey guys, guess who's finally back!" She exclaims to whoever has the misfortune of being in the room.

Everyone groans simultaneously.

"I thought we got rid of this dude!" Tommy grumbles loudly.

Ember's grin widened. "Nope, you can't get rid of me! Now, I finally got some dares for you guys." She pauses for a moment as she remembers something." I just realized, didn't I leave Nick like really shrunken for like, months? How's he been doing?" She questions.

Jon, who is sitting on the couch, gives her an annoyed glare. "He's doing fine, no thanks to you, you scared him half to death and then left him like that for months!" He growled.

Ember rolled her eyes. "Well sorry, I only get to leave when I get comments so I was kind of stuck for a month." She grumbled.

Jon's anger was subsided a bit in the wake of confusion. "Stuck? Where? Why can you only leave when you get comments?" He asked.

Ember tilted her head to the side. "Well I usually spend most of my time sitting on a floating rock in the endless expanse of the Twisting Nether." She said nonchalantly, as if that weren't the most concerning sentence in the history of concerning sentences.

Everyone turned to give her a horrified look.

"You're a demon?! Like an actual, real demon?! Why are you here?!" Richard cried.

Ember shrugged. "Why not? Being evil is boring, all you do is die all the time. I'd much rather watch what all you mortals do, it's way more interesting." She explained.

No one was really sure what to do with this new information so they decided it was probably best to not think about it too much.

Ember focused her attention back to Jon. "You say Nick's been doing well, where is he?" She asked.

"I'm right here you idiot!" She heard a tiny voice cry from the couch.

She looked down to see that Nick was (poorly) climbing onto the arm of the couch. Once he managed to make his way back up he glared up at her with furious eyes that she could barely see.

"Are you gonna fix me?! I've been like this for months!" He shouted.

"But we haven't done anything with you yet! No one's given you anything to do, why would I do this if we're not gonna make anything out of it?" She retorted in a whiny voice.

Jon leaned over to scoop the tiny into his hands. "Please do something about this soon, It's hard having to watch over him like this, he's very prone to getting in trouble." Jon says exasperatedly whilst petting Nick's head with a finger.

Nick growled and attempted to bat the hand away. "I do not! It's hard not to get in trouble when you're this size!" Jon shook his head like he'd been dealing with this sort of talk for a while.

Ember tapped a clawed finger against her chin. "Hm, ok, look. I'll fix him," Nick gave her a hopeful look," but, only if you don't get anymore dares next chapter, only then will I change him back." She finalized.

Jon and Nick rolled their eyes but they both sighed and nodded their head.

Ember grinned. "Ok, now that we've got that settled," she turned to Dashlie, who was conversing with Ashlie," Hey Dashlie, go punch Richard in the stomach."

Overwhelmed by a need for senseless violence, Dashlie immediately shot up from her chair and bounded across the room to slam her fist into Richard's stomach.

Richard slammed into the wall like he'd been hit by a rhinoceros and he yelped with pain. "Why would you do that?!" He cried whilst clutching his stomach.

Dashlie shrugged. "She told me to." She said simply as she pointed to Ember.

Ember nodded her head. "I did, in fact, tell her to. Plus, it was a dare and I've already told you guys that you can't refuse dares." Feeling somewhat bad, she went to go get some ice for Richard.

When she returned with the ice she applied it to Richard's swiftly bruising stomach, who just kind of moaned in pain, unable to talk.

Dashlie calmly sauntered over to her chair and resumed her conversation with the slightly concerned Ashlie.

Ember apologized quietly before jumping away.

"Alright, well, that was certainly interesting. I think that's enough excitement for today, I think we can end this chapter here, and thanks to nayengal for finally commenting on one of my stories." She looked around at the people surrounding her before disappearing in a flash of green flame.

Everyone was stunned by the strangely dramatic exit but soon went back to their normal activities. Aside from Richard, who was still on the floor in pain.

Thank you so much nayengal it's been so long since I was able to work on this story, it's nice to write a book that I know I can publish.

I'm sorry for being gone for so long but no one was commenting (which I'm not mad about, don't worry) and I wasn't sure how to continue the story otherwise so I just started writing other stories instead.

Maybe I'll be able to write a bit more of this story now, or not, who knows, but I'm glad to be back and I eagerly await your comments!

Until next time guys, Seeya!
