Sans: *moves a little in his sleep*

Ga?ter: *sighs* *shakes their head at the headphones* *slowly takes them off his head, hearing what sounds like a music box emit from the headphones* *laughs a little* S❄ill listens to this wh☜n he r✌eds?... S⚐︎me things n☜ver change, I suppose. *puts the headphones on his desk*

Sans: *face scrunches in his sleep*

Sans: *drowsily wakes up* ...*sits up confused, rubbing his eyes with his free hand, thinking that he had just felt a familiar presence* ...

Sans: *looks down at his other hand, seeing what looks like a piece of paper* ...? *turns on his lamp* *takes the paper out of his hand, setting the book down* *reads it*

Paper: "KojiTheSilverblood asks: So, Sans, I know this might be a touchy subject, but who is ☝✌💧❄☜☼ to you?"

Sans: *blinks at the paper a few times, before laughing a little* oh, the doc?... heh...

Sans: welp...*looks at the clock* 12: 17 in the morning? geez, do you guys not want me to sleep? *yawns* ...guess here we go anyways.

Sans: well, he was my boss... i know, a lot of you think he's my dad, but that's not how it went down in this universe i guess, heh.

Sans: i uh... *looks to the side* really looked up to him... kinda like an idol... you can imagine how much i flipped out when i got accepted into workin' with him in his lab despite not havin' much schoolin'... never knew what he saw in me... *smiles sadly*

Sans: i worked with him for a few years... i'd like to think we became friends... until... *looking at his mattress, playing with a loose string on his sheet* ... until he lost his mind...

Sans: i... i don't know what drove him to do it, but he gave himself determination... after that he went mad...

Sans: ... i shoulda done somethin'... but i didn't... i'm not gonna even talk about what happened between us when he was crazy... *shudders at the memory*

Sans: *sighs* but even when he lost it, he was still a damn genius. it's not just any monster who can find a way to break the rules of the fabric of time.

Sans: but... i'd like to say i saw him as a friend.*cheeks tint a little*... a good friend... *looks to the side, seeming a little crestfallen* heh, it feels dumb of me to even hope that he saw me as one...

Sans: i mean... yeah, bad stuff happened, but he came back to reality right before the incident at the core... let's just say i wish he woulda just saved himself, everything that's screwed up now woulda been fixed already if he was the one who made it out. *hugs one of his knees* funny how things work out sometimes, heh...

Sans: *blinks* geez, i'm going on a tangent... uh, well, he was my friend and idol... even with the bad things that happened, i wouldn't hesitate to relive it, my years workin' with him before he went insane were probably some of my happiest...

Gaster: *was listening the whole time* ...*knows Sans can't hear him* ... I'm so sorry...
