Branch: Did you guys heard about the riot in Minneapolis?

Poppy: What riot?

Me: Apparently, a man named George Floyd was killed by the police for a check fraud. He was also killed because of the color of his skin!

Guy Diamond: George has no weapons at all! He even had a daughter!

Branch: The people protested peacefully with no weapons over his death. But no! The police still had to attack them!

Smidge: This led to a mass riot all over the city of Minneapolis. People were looting and destroying cars and buildings. They even started fires!

Poppy: So peaceful protest didn't work?

Satin: No! They wanted to play rough!

Chenille: It's so messed up that George Floyd was killed because he was African American. That's racist!

Me: When white people do big crimes and carry weapons, the police go easy on them. But when Hispanics and African Americans do small crimes and mean no harm, the cops brutality beats us to death! This world is full of racism if you ask me.

Poppy: That's horrible! Why can't we all just get along?

Branch: Yeah, that's not gonna be easy to do that. People need to open their eyes and realize the mistakes they're doing and should watch what they say.

Smidge: And if that's not enough, the cop who killed the man is just getting fired! He's supposed to be in jail for that!
