It is October 31,  Halloween night! The night the trolls love to celebrate!
They dress up in different costumes and go from pod to pod saying "Trick or Treat!" and they would receive candy. Jack o lanterns are lit up in every pod in the village. Other trolls would throw Halloween parties with snacks and games to play. Other trolls would play pranks for fun.

But after the trolls go to sleep and it turns midnight, the fun truly begins.
On Halloween midnight, a black hooded figure, known as Death, appears and plays his violin to call all the monsters to dance for him.
All the monsters ,ghosts, spiders, bats, and other monsters emerge and gather around. They would start to dance for him, from waltz to ballet. They would also roam around the village and sometimes spread terror to sleepy trolls.
When daylight breaks, the monsters leave to their places until next year for the next Halloween. Death disappears but leaves his violin in a special studio place until next year.
This is how it has been for thousands of years and always will be for years to come.
