"Maybe," Dream thinks for a moment. "Could you try leading the bird into the cave? We may be able to use its talon without cutting it off."

Dream can you summon your bow and arrows

Dream reaches out his hand. A bow appears in his hand, but now Dream seems rather drained.

"I can summon my bow, but I don't think I have enough energy for battle. I could summon about three arrows, I think."

Dream reaches the top of the tunnel. He manages to haul himself out, already tired and having to rest. You see that he is trembling, but he doesn't say anything.

Ya either way it wouldn't be the best. There might be a small chance even if its unlikely. Sci do you want us to go with dream to make sure hes safe??

Dream is silent. He's focused on watching out for the bird of prey.

Sci nods. "Yes please. I don't think he's going to be able to take on that bird on his own. Not in his condition."

Sci, are you going to be okay without Dream? Also, how are you actually going to cut it off the bird?

Sci pauses. "Yeah. I'm just a bit panicky. I'll be fine..."

As Sci says this, he's nervously scratching at his arms.

"Hopefully we don't need to." Dream says.

The distant squawking approaches the island. Flapping wings come up behind Dream. Sharp talons shoot forward. At the very last second, Dream leaps and clings to the bird's neck plumage. The bird suddenly begins to flap it's wings wildly and spiral through the air.

Dream is having difficulty hanging on, but he manages. He climbs onto the bird's back. Then he takes hold of some feathers and yanks. With a shriek, the bird changes direction according to where Dream pulls.

The bird dives, then rises, then flies straight. It heads towards the cave, where Sci is sitting.
