Goth manages to swim to the water's surface, while Crescent seems to be visibly drowning. You see a line of bubbles approaching the two children faster then they can swim away.

Nighturu: *face-palms* *long, irritated sigh* *deep inhale* okay. First of all, let's get u back on land, so u two can dry, second of all........ I can summon a 1) Titanaboa to keep u guys safe2) a Sarcosuchus(I think dats how u spell it) to help u traverse the water... Although, I think that killing that crocodile-ish thing is ur ticket outta here....
*You do not have permission to summon characters into the story.*
The crocodile-like creature bursts out of the water, just underneath Goth, flinging him back into the air. The creature opens it's jaws to swallow Goth when he falls back down. Crescent manages to climb onto the creature and stab it's belly with his soggy tentacles.
The creature emits a high-pitched shriek and dives back into the water. Goth smashes into the water, struggling to find which way is up.
Savage: Nice to see you again, guys. And hey, want me to help you find a good cave to live in?
Crescent manages to flail until he reaches the surface of the water.
"We're fucking drowning here!" He screams at you before being dragged back under by a strong wave.
At this point in time, Author thinks you have no clue what's actually going on here. Perhaps try re-reading the last three chapters of the last book and then re-read all the chapters in this book. This is extremely important. Things will happen between asks, so you have to read the whole thing, buddy.
Both Crescent and Goth seem to be struggling in the current and the creature has turned around to eat them whole.
Suddenly, something huge smashes into the side of the crocodile-like creature, knocking it off course. It appears to be a pirate ship. Someone leaps out of the ship and dives into the water, grabbing Goth and hauling him back towards the ship.
The creature comes at them, piercing through the water. It's quickly stopped by a sharp harpoon, which strikes it's back. This is enough to send the creature running, calling into the water with great pain.
Goth and his saviour are brought up into the pirate ship by a rope. Before he can process what's going on, a towel is thrown over Goth.
"Dry off, pal. You're safe now."
Crocodiles are semi-aquaitic reptiles. There should be another piece of land nearby otherwise I will be very disappointed in the lack of logic. Try to find something to bind its jaws, like a piece of fabric, or one of the palms. According to some random documentary crocodiles can bite down with enormous force but their jaws have very little opening strength and can be held together by a rubber band.
"That thing has an underwater cave somewhere to hide in. There isn't a single bit of land in this ocean big enough to hold a croc of that size, let alone a fully grown one." The stranger explains.
Goth pulls the towel off of his head and wraps it around himself. "W-Who are you?" He asks nervously.
The stranger lifts his hat and bows politely. "You can call me Palette. I'm the captain of this here ship."
Goth stares at Palette with a sparkle in his eyes.
Though it's a bit late, Author congratulates you on your vast knowledge.
