Me: *staying with Horror; seems on guard* Say Horror, think that Cresent and Goth are fine since they have Savage with them? And what about Dream and Sci since they have Neptune for the partner?

"I don't fucking know. You're all from the same fucking Creator, why don't you fucking ask?" Horror growls. He doesn't seem up for chatting right now.

"Dream's stronger then he looks, and Crescent cares a lot for Goth, they'll be fine." Nightmare calls out.

That is probably the leopards child

"Oh I don't know, lets think about that." Nightmare says. "Big cats have extremely large territories and theirs likely takes up the whole mountain, leaving no room for any other pairs. These are leopard cubs in their territory. Yes they're their fucking children!"

"Be quiet!" Geno hisses.

They reach the leopards. The cubs back away from the two skeletons as they approach. They hiss and yowl, occasionally calling for their mother and father. Geno kneels down, making himself seem small compared to the cubs.

"Don't try talking to them." Nightmare says. "They won't understand you. You'll just look like an idiot."

"I don't need to. But I am going to try something stupid."

"Like what?"

"Give them a taste for my blood."

"What?"

Geno places his hand over the wound in his chest, then holds it out towards the two cubs, stained in the crimson liquid. The leopard cubs are reluctant as first. But after smelling it for a while they realise how hungry they are and approach Geno. Their rough tongues lap up the blood. The cubs then tackle Geno to the ground and start licking at his wound.

"Uh... Need help?" Nightmare asks.

"No. I don't think they can chew through bone. Blood isn't much, but it's enough." Geno sounds very uncomfortable.

"Doesn't that hurt?"

"Immensely."

Suddenly the ground under Nightmare and Geno trembles. The rock around them cracks and shatters. It begins to separate from the rest of the mountain. Nightmare grabs Geno and the two leopard cubs and runs.

They get to passing the dangerous path and struggle to get across, as it has begun crumbling too. The cubs cry for their parents, thrashing about in Geno's arms. The fighting strongly unbalances Nightmare and just as he's close to the end he tips to the side. Horror latches onto Nightmare's hand, catching him, and hauls him back up.

"Dear god, you're heavy!" Horror exclaims.

Nightmare glares at Horror. "Fuck you."

"I saved your fucking life!"

"I don't fucking care!"

"Guys!" Geno yells. "Stop arguing! We've got to get going before more of the mountain breaks underneath us!" He sighs. "I think we need to give the cubs back to their parents to get out of here."

"And if you're wrong?" Nightmare crosses his arms.

"You can kill them..."

Nightmare pauses. "Right. We've got no time to rest. Lets get climbing."
