Actually, no. This is about something else.

*Kim showed Shadow the question*

Shadow: Ah. I see.

Sonic: So? What's your answer?

Shadow: First of all, thank you twinightatom892 for not disrespecting me. I won't hunt you down. Second, I don't necessarily need to go fast. My shoes allow me to hover just a little bit above any surface and terrain, thus preventing me from tripping while traveling at top speed.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense.

Shadow: Also, my shoes provide more than just speed. I also use them for attacks as well. There's my answer.
