Okay, many people apparently believe that us Mormons are an entirely new species of Homo Sapiens. These are some of the myths I'm going to banish outright.

Myth: Mormons have horns.

Truth: I don't think we have horns...*pats head* Nope! No horns here!

Myth: Mormons are polygamists.

Truth: Okay, you might have a teeny shred of truth. As LDS church members, we believe that, to enter into the highest tier of heaven, marriage must be performed between a man and a wife*. Now, let's rewind time a few hundred years. When people of the LDS faith were travelling to Utah, there were more women than men (no, I don't know why this is). To make sure that every woman in the company could reach the highest tier of heaven, POLYGAMY WAS PRACTICED. FOR LIKE, LESS THAN 50 YEARS. And not everyone could practice it, either. We believed that God must tell our Prophet directly that certain authorities could practice polygamy. Then, when more men joined the church (Or more people just migrated out to Utah), polygamy stopped. At least, it became frowned upon in the church. 

Conclusion: No, we are no longer polygamists.

Myth: Mormons can't do anything on Sundays.

Truth: We're allowed to do things on Sundays, yet we are encouraged to 'Put off the Natural Man', and avoid purchasing any goods or services on Sundays. It is also encouraged to do services for others (FOR FREE!), and to spend time with our families.

Myth: Mormons can't eat ketchup.

Truth: *Gasp* WHAT? Do you know what the traditional Mormon form of cuisine is? What we can never do without when eating fries?

FRY SAUCE.

Oh, how beautiful it is! And you can make it at home, too! The ingredients are: -KETCHUP -Mayonnaise -Relish (Optional). A seemingly disgusting, yet delicious, combination.

Conclusion: Yes, we can eat ketchup.
