problems occur
The sun rays shone across her face, replacing the sleepy tears in her eyes, almost deceiving Ashok into thinking she was delightfully appeased and content.
Today was her first time she was greeting the whole royal court as Ashok's wife. These were for her post-marriage rituals.
Ashok's mother, Raani Dharma had been keen to do this ever since the start, her dream was coming true today.

Kaurvaki's POV:
Nervousness spun me around his ring, I had to look my best ever today - I mean, greeting the whole court and kingdom as the royal princess of Magadh was no easy task.
I did this easily before marriage in Kaling but now it was somehow a bit nerve racking.
I saw Ashok still sleeping with his mouth open innocently.
"Ashok wake up!"
No movement. I suddenly thought of an idea and ran to get a pail of water. Haha, you guessed it right.
With all my might, I thrust the water upon him and he sat up with a shocked start.
I couldn't stop laughing at this hilarious sight.
"Ahahahaha!!!!! Ashok!"
"Oh my!"
He looked kind of cute as he shook his long hair and smiled at me. There we go.
"Kau...." he began when he saw a huge pot of water.
I saw him with my wide eyes and naughty smile as he slowly went towards it and picked it up.
I giggled as he came closer, removing the robe off his shoulder and I moved backwards till my back thumped the wall.
"Hmm......"
"Ashok!" A beautiful voice sounded from outside the door. It was Rani Dharma. Good - I was saved!
We both looked at each other in shock and we quickly got out clothes sorted and he picked his robe up and straightened it back on like a cheetah.
We saw her arriving from the passage way and she stopped in the doorway as we were awkwardly standing around the room.
"Err... good morning Kaurvaki," Rani Dharma smiled, eyeing Ashok with a grin.
"Hmm... err, g-good morning Raani ma,"
She smiled and then stroked a hand across Ashok's cheek.
"There you go son, change into these clothes for the pooja today, you want to be ready soon as the Praja will be waiting in the court with your father. Don't worry about Kaurvaki, your aunt and me shall make her look just like you want!"
She laughed cheekily and I blushed in embarrassment.
Ashok kept his gaze down and smiled at the ground. Then he suddenly looked at me with a simple smile.
Well, this was going to be an exciting day. I wondered if Prince Dhiraj would be here - stupid me, why would he be here after all that drama happened.
I wanted to rub our wedding in his face like💁🏻
My maids sat me down onto the dressing table stool after I came out in a plain white saari after my bathe.
The beautiful shimmering gold and emerald bindi with chunks of red splattered across the pendant glistened in the sunlight and highlighted my vermillion applied on my russet brown hair.
Just from behind my ear, a loose nose pin dangled down while I watched my dressers gently pick it up and attach it to my nose.
How it gleamed! I heard them gossip about how beautiful I looked and I blushed.
The smooth, sharp streak of eyeliner made my eyes conceal a shy and hidden character under my decked up face.
The matching baby pink and gold lehenga added the cherry on the top. I smiled and wandered to the window, watching a parade arrive at the entrance of the palace with horses and flowers.
