I rang the doorbell and Jayla let me in, I greeted the family and the twins took me up to their room. I got in and was so surprised to see the changes.

"You changed wall paint..I like it" I said trying to make things less awkward "mhmm" "yea" was their reply.

Great.

"Okay so what subject do you wanna start with" I said opening my bag, the twins sat on their phones not even listening to what I'm saying.

"You know I don't have to be here if you two are going to ignore me" I said exiting the room. "No y/n wait!" They yelled but I ignored them.

I was about to go downstairs when Javon stopped me "we're sorry please don't leave" he said I looked at both of them "are you going to take this seriously" "yes we promise".

They had trouble with math more than any other subject so we started with that first.

The twins kept their promise and listened to every word I said. They slowly understood and when they got an answer right, they would be so proud, it was so fun watching them compete against each other to see who's going to finish the equation faster.

As they were putting the numbers in the calculator my dad texted me. 

"Hey guys my dad's outside" I said packing my stuff "why now it's too early" Jaden said "it's 9 I've been here 5 hours" I said and their eyes widened "yea five hours" I laughed at their reaction.

After a whole month of 5 lessons a week their grades finally started changed to the better. And everyone was so happy about it. I was too, I mean we kinda became friends I think but I'm still not sure.

I was walking to class when I heard someone say my name so I decided to ear drop "I'm telling you Y/n is the best tutor ever, the way she explains things are amazing and even if we don't get it on the first time, she has the patience of the world" Javon said and I felt butterflies in my stomach

"Dude, you talk about her so much that I'm starting to think you like her" Jaden said "there is no way my man would have a crush on Y/l/n, she's weird" Jacob one of their friends spoke "are you guys even going to hang out with her after you've Aced you tests" another one spoke and I was curious to hear their answers.

"You guys are too cool for here" "yea your right" Javon said and my heart broke. "Wait why are you hanging out with her so much?" Another friend asked "since we got bad grades mom and dad grounded us and only Y/n is allowed in the house since she's our tutor" Jaden explained.

Wow

And here I thought we were going to be friends again.

How could I be so stupid.

I wiped my tears and headed to my next class.

The last bell rang and I was so happy this day was over, I went to my locker and found someone standing beside it.

Alex Thompson my childhood crush.

I walked up to him and he smiled "umm can I help you" I asked opening my locker "yes-well no- wait I think" he stuttered and I giggled "what do you need Thompson" I said leaning on my locker.

"Okay so I'm having this party at my house and j would really like it if you'd come" he said surprising me "you want me a nerd to attend your party Mr. Captain of the football team".

"Yea I would really hope that the cute nerd comes" he said and I blushed a little "I'll think about it" I said and he smiled "really thank you" he hugged me.

As I saw him walk away, I felt eyes staring at me so I turned around and saw Javon glaring at him, he looked back at me, as soon as we locked eyes quickly walked away.
